Just had carpet installed in two locations in our home. Friendly and professional service all around. At the facility, Laurie S. was instrumental in helping us pick out the right product and getting us squared away. We were given an installation date and notified by phone the day prior to installation confirming the start time. Mike, the installer, was great. After removing the old carpeting downstairs, it was discovered that there were old tiles between the padding and the cement floor, which turned out to be a major disruption in the process. Mike offered instruction on the proper removal and disposal of the tile and went to work once that had been completed. I wondered why he was working solo and he explained that his assistant had called out sick that day. It was a big job, but he handled it expertly and also made quick work of the upstairs hallway carpet removal and installation. Hopefully Tile & Carpet Town provides monetary rewards for good reviews - it's been earned in this case. :) read more

I have lived through four remodels in my life. The master bath remodel done by Tile and Carpet Town was was perhaps the WORST I have ever experienced. They sent a workman to my home three times to re-do the awful job, each time worse than the last. When my contractor paid them for the materials, but not the labor, expecting a total re-do of the bathroom, they slapped us with a mechanics lien. Utterly irresponsible and without any sense of pride in their workmanship. And when we finally had the bad tile job removed and replaced, guess what was underneath the tile laid by Tile One a mere 7 months before?? Yep, you guessed it, BLACK MOLD! read more

I want to thank Tile and Carpet Town for the excellent service. I had wall to wall carpeting in a large living room and hallway area replaced. The installers, Mike and Jacob were here on time and did a wonderful job. I was impressed with how well they cleaned the surface before putting down the carpeting. It doesn't look like an easy job. Mike noticed a board that needed some extra work. He was able to repair it. They were very particular that everything was done correctly when installing the carpet. Lies and deceitful sales practices...I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy! The quality of products are abysmal and customer service is awful. I'm sorry that I had ever went with this company for my flooring needs...it's one of the biggest regrets that I have for any upgrades to my home. We've have had nothing, but problems with each install. The flooring looks terrible after a short amount of time in a home that is meticulously taken care of. The owner, Stan, makes many excuses not to rectify issues or he just puts customer complaints to the side. If you don't follow up with him, he will even forget about your concerns. I have had to jump through many hoops to get anything repaired, and that is if this even happens, since we've had other areas of our home, which he's refused to replace under warranty. From what I've experienced from this company, it seems as though they boast themselves up as being the best in the business with their fancy commercials and what appears to be "professional" sales tactics, but then after you've paid for a product, it's game over. We've thrown a lot of money down the drain by choosing Tile & Carpet Town Carpet One for our flooring needs. This is not an exaggerated statement...please don't be fooled. We honestly thought we were going with a good company for our flooring, and it has been nothing but a nightmare. They may act as if they actually care for the customer's satisfaction, but this has not been the case at all from what I've experienced. I am beyond disappointed with this company and would advise to stay clear of them. Be warned! read more

Ordered flooring. They told me of my install date on a Monday. Called to confirm the Friday before. They say everything is a go. Took two days off from work. 30 minutes before arrival they call me. No materials at all have arrived. Owner tells me: Their sales person was doing me "a favor" putting me on their schedule. When you are paying $5,000 for flooring, I'm not sure how this is considered a "favor?" Have to reschedule another date. No concession made at all for their screw up. Take another 2 days off from work-for second install date. No transition pieces arrive yet either. Take another day off for that additional install. I tell Salesperson of this entire experience was sub par considering the hassle of a straight forward install. Again- no customer concession for any mistakes made. Then to top it off- sends me a bill- with a LATE FEE ADDED... would never do business with them again. If you need it on time try somewhere else. Owner/ Manager is less than accommodating. read more

The staff at Tile and Carpet are not only knowledgeable but also take the time to explain their recommendations. Also offering a variety of styles and competitive prices.
