The TimBits are SO good!! One of my best friends is from Canada and routinely raves about Tim Horton's, even gifting me a bag of their coffee, but nothing she said could have prepared me for the TIMBITS! Like little circles of heaven in the best flavors you could imagine: chocolate, blueberry, cinnamon cake (not dusted in cinnamon), and birthday cake!! OMG! I don't even typically eat sugar, but munchkins are definitely my weakness, and their timbits blow munchkins out of the water! We honestly didn't try anything else because we already had savory food elsewhere, but that doesn't change the fact that I had some of the best food of my life here lol. The place itself was very clean, had ample seating, and was easy to order and get out quickly. The people working there were also attentive and helpful. I received a free drink coupon by the GM that the drive through employee won't accept. I've tried 3 different times/days and he wont accept it, even tho the other location across town does. This normally wouldn't be problem, except he's always working. I asked for a manager and he said "He's not in the store right now so you gotta pay." Which once again, isn't a deal breaker, however i'm not sure why this is a problem; seeing how this coupon works at all other locations. He needs to either get retrained or communicate with management. Outside of the bad employee experience, the food is very par for the course for Tim Hortons. read more

So I went threw the drive thru thinking it would be the fastest since my kids were already late for school and what do you know took longer then it would have if I cooked my own food at home so I ordered my hubby and I a maple waffle meal and it took nearly 40 mins I sit and waited I had to call then just to get them to bring my food out to me. I would think people in Ashland, KY would find this place a godsend just because it is so unique to have this chain here. The only other time I heard about this was during football pregame shows whenever Ohio State would play their noon game, only this chain is not out of Ohio. Surprisingly, it is actually an international business out of Canada. Ever since I heard about it. I had found this chain in Buffalo, New York and I tried one of their coffees while waiting at my gate for my plane. Not bad. I tried coffee another time with my parents, when we all went to Canada. Now, I see it in KY of all places and I still have yet to try their breakfast sandwiches, which people state are REALLY good. I wouldn't know. Yesterday, I order a simple grilled cheese panini, but of course I was getting settled in my hotel room and I let it cool down. I probably did not experience how good it would have really tasted had I had it when it was still warm. This chain reminds me of Dunkin Donuts in all honesty, just with more variety. Edit: I tried their breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, and cheese between two biscuits) and it was really good. The bacon was crispy, egg (you knew it was egg because egg white surrounding yolk not that yellow...whatever it is), and the biscuit was crumbly yet crispy AT THE SAME TIME! The hashbrown was slightly spiced (not sure what kind of spice some of these chains use). I would state that the spice is a little tamer than Dunkin Donut's hash rounds spice. The doughnut was soft and chewy. Not as melt in mouth as Krispy Kreme, but not as thick as Dunkin's. All in all, I can see what the hype is about. I was not disappointed. FINALLY..OMG..I was able to try something food related from here. It was either parents or just the time of day of visiting Ashland that prevented me from trying what I wanted. I got the got dang doughnut, breakfast sandwich, and hash brown...no one can say anything different to me. NO ONE! If I never see a Tim Horton's again in my life, I can at least state that I tried what I needed to and will not have regrets and being left with that lingering "Oh man, what was that place? Took my Granddaughter before school for a doughnut and she says not enough icing on the doughnuts. All she could taste was bread.

This place is hit and miss. Sometimes the iced coffee is delicious. Sometimes the iced coffee is disgusting and bitter. I really enjoy the chocolate chip muffins which are always consistent. The advertising for their iced drinks always get me. I then purchase said iced drink and it is so nasty. I have yet to have one that is good. I miss Tim Horton's coffee and baked goodies every time I end up someplace they don't have 'em. Its good. Its all good. My current fave is mocha coffee and any delicious donut (let's face it, who doesn't love a donut?). I love Tim Hortons, oddly enough the food is cheaper and better in the U.S. restaurants versus the Canadian locations I've been to. Breakfast here is my favorite, with fresh bagels, donuts, and hot sandwiches. Lunch and dinner offerings include soups which are generally pretty good, and wraps or sandwiches along with a selection of fresh baked cookies and muffins. The iced tea here is good, and my wife loves their coffee and coffee drinks. Overall, if I had the choice of crossing the street for Starbucks, or driving ten miles for Tim Hortons, I'd take the drive every time. read more

When we came here, we waited ten minutes if not longer to be served because they claimed our order had been taken. We had a very simple order, a number 1 and number 3 combo, both regular, both with cokes no ice. They managed to screw up our order and overcharge us for two number 1's so we had to wait ten more minutes for the correct order and he repeated the fact we wanted no ice yet still put ice into our cups. Did I say I wanted my muffin frozen in the middle? I ordered a muffin at the drive thru. They asked me to pull up that it would take a few minutes. When they brought it out, it was too hot to touch ! Also, no napkins in the bag! I waited a minute or two and took a bite. Hot on the outside, frozen on the inside. I was on my way to an appointment or I would've taken it back. No breakfast for me!
