I came here while visiting Canada. I was recommened to try Tim's, as a Canadian answer to America's Dunkin. I'm not really a coffee person, but I am a donut person. I tried a maple frosted donut, a savory hand pie, and a custard tart. They were all OKAY but not stuff I'd crave or need to try again. My friend tried a biscoff coffee. After ordering, at the kiosk my treats never came out and I had to wait for them to redo the order (though the coffee came out fast). One of the worst and dirtiest Tim Hortons location I have ever been too. On the way back from Lake Louise to Calgary we stopped here for coffee and snacks. Ordered via drive through. The person taking order was so slow and we couldn't understand what he was saying. We verified our order on screen and paid and window. The person at window had no basic etiquettes or manners. He was very rude and raised his eyebrows and made staring weird face when we asked him to give sleeve for coffee. Coffee was not fresh and flat bread had very little cheese on it. Washrooms were extremely dirty and there was no soap in soap dispenser. Avoid this location if possible and just go to a local coffee shop. read more

We like to get a box of the timbits (donut holes) to snack in the car throughout our drives in Banff and Jasper. I like the sour cream plain and chocolate timbits. Probably delicious fresh but both times we tried it (second time at the airport location in Calgary), they tasted like they were a day or two old. Tried the birthday and honey dip. read more

Went to Canmore Tim Hortons this morning in drive thru. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese. What I got was a bagel with cream cheese in the middle and not even spread out. No knife to spread it. The top of the bagel had no cream cheese on it. What is the point of going through drive thru if I have to do the work myself. It's like going to McDonald's and ordering a big Mac with all the toppings on the side. I have ordered many bagels with cream cheese from Tim Hortons and this was so disappointing. read more

We went to this Tim Hortons before 5:00 am on August 2023. Awful experience. Couldn't hear or understand the lone gentlemen working through the drive-thru. Ordered 4 items. All 4 were wrong. When he handed us our coffees, I instantly told him it wasn't what I ordered and asked for the correct item. He just looked at me and said nothing. We also ordered 2 bagels, a blueberry and an everything. Received 2 cinnamon raisin. Do not recommend this Tim Hortons at all during this time period. This is a Tim's that I usually stop at on the way to or on the way back from Banff. There's also a Wendy's next door for those seeking a kitchy American experience, rather than an authentic Canadian one. It's not exactly an easy connection off and on the Trans-Canada highway, but with my rim roller at the ready, a delicious Walnut Crunch or Timbit, decent coffee and maybe a prize await! This must be one of the busiest, most efficient Tim Hortons I have been in! On the way back to Calgary from Jasper, we pulled into Tim Horton's desperate for a coffee to get us through the last hour of a long drive. My heart sunk when I saw the size of the drive-thru line-up. I suggested to Sheila that I just run in, but it was too late., As quickly as we pulled in, someone was on our butts, so we were stuck in line. What amazed me, is we were through the lineup, coffee in hand within 10 minutes! I don't know whether we were just lucky and everyone ahead of us ordered simple things that kept the line moving, or whether this location is a well-oiled machine. Great location! Very popular both in-house and drive thru. Like the fact there is a Wendy's attached in case you want something else with your coffee. Lineups at both the in-house and drive thru can be long especially in summer during tourist season. Coffee and baked products are always great. Given how busy they are I think the staff do a great job. The location is always clean, run efficiently and staff are courteous and friendly. I go here all the time when I am in Canmore. read more

This place needs to work on their customer service. Its brutal. The staff roll their eyes at you for confirming your order when the guy at the speaker was incomplient. They rush you through the drive thru and at the window is super rude when asking for clarification. Absolutely appalled by the staffs attitude and customer service skills ! I was very excited to try Tim Hortons, as it seems to be the quintessential Candian eatery that homesick Canadians seem to miss the most when living abroad. This Tim Hortons was very busy, with the line nearly going out the door when we got there on a Monday morning. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I ordered a large coffee and a chocolate donut. The coffee was close to boiling hot - and tasted similar to Folger's instant coffee. It probably would hit the spot if it was below freezing outside. The donut was nothing special, probably a bit below average. I had assumed that Tim Hortons would be comparable to Dunkin Donuts, but it is clearly several notches below. Both the coffee and the donuts are inferior to their American counterparts. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been to Tim Horton's before though. read more

This is the busy Tim Horton's in town, but when it comes down to it, it's pretty much the only place to grab gas and a coffee in one stop. You could probably save a few minutes of time, if not your sanity waiting in line by going to the other location. It might not actually be faster, but I'm the type to always take a few more minutes driving as opposed to sitting in traffic. That said, if you need a place to chill out and do some laptop work, taking a pet a cafe space, free of judgement in Canmore, this is probably going to be your go-to. We stopped here on our way out of town to go hiking to pick up breakfast. After looking at the very long drive through line, it was decided to go inside to order. Half our party wanted to Tim Hortons, and the other half wanted McDonalds. After about 10 minutes my husband came out and told us we should go to McDonalds as the line was not moving fast. We left, got our food, came back and ate it in the car, and about 30 minutes later my husband and mother in law finally had their food. I could not believe how slow they were! Timmies to me is all the same with the selection of bake goods might be different from other Tim Horton's. This particular location shares the same building as Wendy's and just a couple seconds walk away from McDonald's. When my girlfriend, brother and I went to this particular location to grab food before we went hiking, it was a pretty standard experience. The one thing I found funny was that they ran out of hot water and the crew panicked, yes it will be chaotic but hey there are cold drinks to choose from. The supervisor was panicking on the phone with her manager on the other line asking what to do, she was telling her staff to remain calm and tell the customers that there isn't any hot water to brew more coffee and tea for the time being. After waiting for a couple of minutes the crew got so happy when their hot water filtration started working again. Overall experience was great. We did managed to grab a small snack from each of the three locations (I got a pack of timbits, my brother got Wendy's and my girlfriend got McDonald's) and we went on our way. I can't imagine what cardboard or plywood taste like because I've never actually eaten or tried either...but I can imagine it tastes like the hash browns I was served at Tim Horton's. Simply horrendous. This is what a fast food chain should not be. To add insult to the injury, the front counter lady gave me an attitude because I handed her my credit card instead of swiping it on the machine tucked in the corner...I can read the look on her face and it says it all, "this guy's got one screw loose too many"...well I didn't see it there lady! Tim Hortons is basically all the same but my recent visit to this Canmore location left me annoyed at the fact I had to repeat myself 10 times for every little detail of my order. We ate at Tim's October 9th at about 12:30. The restaurant wasn't busy but the staff took all the cars in the drive through before they served the customers inside. Four staff served outside!! We stopped by twice and on both occasions the bathrooms were dirty (even at 6am) and there were flies on food. McDonalds/Petro Canada washrooms are dirty so decided to stop at Tim Horton's. These were worse. The dirt, etc. was not hours, but days, old. Not many people in building. Ordered biscuit, brekky sandwich and coffee. Got biscuit right away and waited over 20 mins for rest of order. When I inqujired re status they insisted I had received the order. Total disorganization behind the counter. Servers looked about 12 years old and no sleep. Everyone was yawning. Next time I will continue on and have my coffee at home. read more

We were there a couple of weeks ago. The place was very clean in spite of the traffic and service was prompt. However, what blew my mind was the exceptional gesture of the manager. After a long car ride, my 2 year old was having a meltdown. The manager came to our table, indulged in baby talk with her, and offered her a free donut and water. That magically calmed her down. Stopped off on a weekday evening and my first stop was the bathroom which was not well kept at all, very dirty. Passed through the dining room to the front counter and made my decision pretty quick that I was going to get my order to go. Once looking over the counter I wasn't going to order and food when I looked at over at the sandwich area and was pretty grossed with the cutting board that looked like it had not been cleaned all day and the entire place just looked very dirty and cluttered which might be a little more acceptable during rushes and busy periods but it was very quiet when I went in.
