I'm reaching out to report an issue with my recent visit. After receiving the wrong order in the drive-thru, I went inside to have it corrected. Unfortunately, the staff I interacted with were noticeably rude and dismissive. When I later called to speak with a manager, the response I received was equally unprofessional -- they treated the situation as if it were a joke and asked what I expected them to do about it. I'm not requesting anything unreasonable; I simply expected respectful service and a proper resolution to the store's mistake. Service was good, donuts were great, coffee was good but the hot chocolate was like colored hot water. Not chocolate flavor at all. I ordered a large and felt like they didn't put any mix in it at all. For $3+ I felt very cheated. After this experience I recall several years ago having the same issue with another Tim hortons. Asked for two cups of water. Was charged a dollar a piece. When I told the staff member serving me that the reason I didn't buy a real drink was because I can't afford it she said sorry. I asked her to let the manager know that there are people that cannot afford to pay a dollar for water out of a tap. All that I have heard about while we were in town was how "Tim Horton's is the next best thing to Starbucks and Dunkin". Well, in my opinion it is the next best thing for a garbage can, because that is exactly where my "Bieber Remix" French vanilla cold brew coffee went. It was beyond disgusting! Just moved here from TX not too long ago and had my first, horrible, rude experience with the assistant manager. I said my order 3 times, on the third time she said her headset wasn't on, then I said it a 4th time and she said she wasn't paying attention and to say it again, the 5th time, I said it louder and the assistant manager yelled "why are you yelling" and it immediately went negative from there. I tried to explain I was just trying to make it where she heard me. So I said never mind, as I was leaving I stopped at the window to get the name of who took my order, it was the ASSISTANT MANAGER. With 3-4 people around her at the window. She very passive aggressively said her name was Nicole and she was the assistant manager. We left, went and got coffee at Starbucks since the customer service was better. Reached out to HR and the store owner as well. Don't go to the Pine Grove Ave if you want a good coffee as the assistant manager doesn't even have the common sense to put the head set on, when taking orders at the drive thru. I really like Tim Hortons but was greatly disappointed when I found out this location didn't have any of the Butter Tarts distinctive to this chain, sort of like a pecan pie without any pecans, just the filling. What I did get was some potato bacon soup, a chicken salad sandwich, Sun chips, a Boston creme donut and small decaf coffee. Their coffee is the best. The donut was good, but not heavenly. The salad tasted good but like the chicken came out of a can. The soup was good, but not as good as homemade. Altogether my bill was $9, which kind is shocked me since it was a fast food place. read more

I love Coffee and Tim Hortons does not disappoint. They have great soup and other lunch items I have not tried. I mostly Go for the coffee and the good news is .....they know coffee. They offer both hot and cold selections in a variety of sizes. Ask questions the staff loves to answer about add on syrups and differences between the variety of choices. read more

Number One, I love Tim Hortons. I go there every day. (More than 300 visit a year). This is my favorite Tim's. Unlike an other review I, I find the staff is friendly and very helpful. It's always difficult to rate chains. For Tim hortons I find that most people have extreme reactions. There's the naysayers (those that gave this place two stars) and the fanatics (those that have their weddings in these places). I'm solidly in the middle. Tim Hortons is a cheap and affordable place to get coffee and simple breakfast food. It's Also a good place to meet for conversations. I don't know if this is a corporate mandate, but the chick at the counter was asking everyone if they wanted sleeves with their coffee. As I sat eating my decent cranberry bran muffin, with a hot coffee with a (highly suggested) shot of chocolate mint, I watched other customers ponder the question of a sleeve for their coffee. Were they worthy enough to get a sleeve? Would their hand burn if they declined? Next is the new drink menu allowing the common folk decide if they want an espresso or a latte. I bet 80% of america does not know the difference, let alone 90% does not know the difference between a latte and cappucino. So I came back. Two days in a row. Yesterday because I wanted a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso, and today because I was given a Valentine's Day gift card for $5. This one is closest to my house. Both days, my order was wrong. I ordered the same both days: a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso and a chocolate dip doughnut since they don't do peanut doughnuts anymore. Yesterday I got a honey dip doughnut. Today, the doughnut was right but I had a half hot chocolate half coffee (or a lot of extra espresso because it tasted more like coffee than hot chocolate. It may seem picky, but I don't like a strong coffee taste (just a splash). Also, when going through drive thru (which from what I am gathering is still the only option as of now), the people are not the best in the window. When they confirm your order, they only say the price (no thank you, please pull forward) and the tone seems rushed. When I get the order, I initiate the thank you. As a customer service rep for years, the store employee should initiate that as for friendly service. Plus, they are out of printer paper so I couldn't get my order number to send the corporate review. You can look at my history and see I have more 4 and 5 star reviews than 1,2, or 3 stars, so I am open to honest feedback. Honestly, this store needs to be retrained, and if they are out of things, I see that as a franchisee responsibility. We can blame COVID all day, but customer service should be on point, and I have not had that from this location in at least 3 years. I don't see myself going back soon, even though it is the most convenient location. I get better service down the road or at 24th Street than I do here. Had the order been right, it likely would've been more of a 3 star. To get to a 4, I would expect at least more courtesy in the window. They aren't rude, but they aren't welcoming either. read more

Is it possible that a place is worse than Dunkin' Donuts? Yes. I went to Tim Horton's for the first time and I wasn't very impressed. I had the worst iced coffee/mocha in my entire life. I really like Tim Hortons, but this location left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I order the grilled cheese panini with a cup of soup while my husband ordered a barbecue chicken one with a regular size soup. The gal at the register didn't hear me and asked if I asked for the regular, instead of objecting I just went ahead and got the regular. I noticed upon walking in that there were flies everywhere, the floor looked like it hasn't been swept in a day or two, and on top of it, one barista was slamming doors shut and obviously appeared frustrated. I work in food, I can sympathize it's tough... Then I got my food, ugh, a sorry excuse for a grilled cheese.
