I came in to order a free birthday drink today and when I told my order to the (very rude) cashier, she automatically went to pay and then walked away before I could even get out that I was scanning a reward. I stood there confused but I saw a barcode scanner sticking out on their side of the counter so I scanned it. A few minutes later another worker comes back and says (very rude again) that my card declined. I was actually able to tell him that I was scanning this time and he let me, but apparently it didn't work because he just told me my total. I tried to tell him that there should be a free drink on there and all he did was shrug and say "I don't know what to tell you" before telling me my total again. So I paid for it because my drink was already ready, and I left embarrassed in front of a line of people. Sadly this is not the first issue I've had with them. Their drinks are inconsistent and their service is terrible. Just last week I had a coffee where I swallowed a chunk of unmixed powder and when I opened the lid there was entire bottom was covered in it. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but it's just a bad environment. Absolutely the worst Tim Horton's I've ever been to. Employees on their cell phones the whole time. An employee was taking a customer's order and using his phone at the same time. Doughnut selection was horrible at 11:30am. Another employee was eating his lunch on the make line from another restaurant, and also using his phone. How this place is even open is truly shocking. I have been a daily Tim Hortons customer since 2013, and I can confidently say this is the absolute WORST location i've ever been to. The manager tried to argue with me, telling me only 2 shots of espresso came in a large latte. He finally gave up and said "Fine, i'll do it for you this time". The coffee is always old and burnt. After waiting about 10 minutes in the drive-thru line this morning, it was my turn to place my order. A piece of white paper was taped to the side of the speaker stating "Cash Only". I understand registers can go down, but it's not the "cash only" issue as to why I am leaving this review. Issue #1: This Tim Horton's location layout is poorly designed. That being said, when you enter the drive-thru, you do not have a way to exit the line. By the time it's your turn to place your order, you have now wasted your time waiting if you're paying with a card. Now you have to continue to wait for everyone to receive their orders until you can exit the line. My recommendation: Place a standard lawn sign stating "CASH ONLY" before the entrance to the drive-thru line. The current method is very frustrating and highly inconvenient. Issue #2: I asked the attendant if cash only was still in effect. She said "yes, sorry". I then asked if I could come inside and pay with a card. She said, "yes". Okay, bad customer service for 2 reasons. 1. Why couldn't someone still take my card payment at the window and walk it to the lobby register? Mind you, I'm on my way to work and now I've been inconvenienced twice. 2. If the attendant was unable to take my card payment at the drive-thru, why wasn't the response "Yes, we are still unable to take credit card. But you are able to come inside and pay with your credit card." Instead of, "yes, sorry" and silence. Very bad business and an easy way to lose money and customers. My recommendation: After purchasing the lawn sign to write "Cash Only" also write, "Credit Card accepted inside". This will make for a lot of happier customers. Issue #3: After parking my vehicle and walking inside, surprisingly, the lobby was empty. I could understand not being able to take my card at the lobby register from the drive-thru if it was extremely busy but I walked right up to the register. The Icing on the Cake: Attendants need to start listening more and stop chatting less with each other. When I was asked to place my order, I kindly replied "medium double-double please". The attendant replied, "would you like cream or sugar?" I'll let you decide how my morning went at Tim Horton's. I really hope this location considers my recommendations and improves their customer service drastically. read more

This place has had so many issues it unreal. They have messed up a Oreo ice cap so many times they should owe me money. One time I had a cleaner or some kind of chemical in my drink and I was severally sick from it. They are rude and unprofessional, and don't care about the customer or the order at all! If you desire something from the Tim Horton's menu, you should go to George's across the street--they will make you whatever you order--whether on the menu or not. Tim Horton's will make you some approximation of your order or tell you they're out of a critical ingredient--like biscuits, eggs, sausage, but they might offer you a double bacon on a glazed doughnut in lieu of the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. Come on, how hard is it to stock ingredients for a damn breakfast biscuit. And, it isn't a one off affair--I've stopped going it happens so frequently. Ordered an Iced Cap, they took my money, and told me to pull forward and park. I waited 5 minutes, then they told me I would need to wait 10 more minutes or I could have my money back. I opted for the money back, and then they walked back out with a soupy drink and said that was the best I was going to get and that I was not getting my money back after waiting. The person claimed they were the owners son and that his dad would not do anything different and that is just the way it is. John the manager hiding inside should have done a better job, and the son should be trained on customer service. If you don't have the product available, then you do not take the customers money. They should be embarrassed, and so should their corporate representative. I have never had a bad experience at a Tim Hortorn's until today. As most of the reviews for this place suck, my best guess is management simply doesn't care what we think. I won't waste a lot of time reiterating what others have said. I'll just jump in for a quick overview. Frankly, since this location is pretty convenient (at least for some), I really don't think it matters what any reviewer might say. Perhaps that is why management feels disinclined to address any issues proffered within our friendly neighbourhood Yelp! community. The offerings are exactly what you would expect. That's good, or bad, depending on your feelings re Tim's food and drink. I would like to take a moment to point out this particular location is run by a bunch of lazy, indifferent, ill-mannered, disaffected 16-year old children. (I would call them indolent, but they would have to look it up and, man, I just don't want to put that kind of pressure and responsibility on them. You know, they have better things to do with their time.) Anyway, the children will not clean the tables. The children will not clean the floor. The children will not answer when spoken to. However, they will happily have you stand at the register (forever), all the while ignoring you, so they may finish their oh so very important personal conversations. Yeah, that's great. This is hands down the worst Tim hortons I've been to. Once in awhile I try the place again as it is convenient in my driving route. But absolutely never coming again after this one! 1. No one was in the lobby at the time I came it, I was ignored for 4 minutes after being looked at as I am walking in. 2. I ordered an ice coffee with an extra shot of expresso, a medium ice Capp, a snacker sausage wrap, and a plain bagel. It took over 10 minutes just to get my iced coffee (my expresso shot was missing and they poured and old shot in it, making my coffee tasting old and bitter) and bagel. Well waiting for the bagel I was informed that they had no plain bagels and asked if I wanted different one, I asked what others they did have and she couldn't tell me without having to walk back and forth trying to remember what they had. I received my bagel burnt to a crisp and less then the normal amount of cream cheese. Already irritated I let it go. 3. She then informed me they had no sausage and no bacon so I had asked for a refund (as I was already annoyed) she then continued to look at me forgetting I had order an ice Capp. I was very fed up and ready to go I finally received the ice Capp and left. 4. As I am leaving the location I notice and employee in the front of the store with her head set still on having a family reunion holding a child and enjoying her sweet time! 5. I then called the store back and asked to receive the highest superiors number and corporates number. I received the corporates number, called it and was a disconnected number! I called back telling the "supervisor" the number was disconnected. after stumbling around and not being able to get make up an excuse she told me that's the "only" number they have and to call the head store which is on Allen and west rd. in Woodhaven, which is the store the franchise owner works out of! Do they not know that it's a running joke about this company? Awful service. Been going there since I was in highschool and the old lady that works in the morning is nasty. They also placed a dirty used glove in the bag with my food. Contacted the company and they did nothing about it. This is the 7th time I've been there in the last two weeks and every single time I ask for Mac n cheese (which is on the menu. Don't put it on it if you don't have it every day) and they still haven't had it. I went there before school once and I ordered my breakfast, they said nothing about not using card. Got to the window after THIRTY minutes (was late for school) and the lady was like yeah probably should have told you we aren't taking card today. This location used to be great for the heavy morning traffic, just a few months ago. Now you wait in line, just to get mediocre items. I purchase the greek yogurt parfait on occasions. The granola is a quick handful tossed in a cup. The measuring to make these has been all over the board. Today I received the bottom of the granola, as it was mostly granola dust. The other day I waited in line for over 10 minutes. When i finally arrived at rhe window, the worker was rude amd mumbled to me.
