I brought my vehicle here for a routine annual car inspection and they failed me, claiming my wiper blades were "scratchy." When I questioned this, the mechanic took me out to my car. He turned the wipers on, literally admitted he couldn't hear anything, and told me to go back to the lobby. However, after he went and "talked to his boss," he suddenly changed his story and claimed it was failing. They took me out to the car a second time. Even though there was absolutely zero noise, they tried to gaslight and bully me into believing the wipers were bad so I would pay for their overpriced replacements on the spot. I refused the high-pressure upsell, paid the inspection fee, and drove directly to another local auto repair shop in town. My car passed the North Carolina state inspection at the second mechanic immediately, with zero issues. Based on my experience, the management here forces their mechanics to fake safety failures to squeeze customers for extra money. If you need a trustworthy auto shop without manipulative tactics, take your business elsewhere. I have the receipts from both shops to prove exactly when this happened.
