Thai Iced Tea, Red Curry, Pad See Ew, Pad Thai (6.20.22)
    Carroll N.

6.20.22 The restaurant has a store front with street parking, but can be accessed through the back of an office building, which also has a metered parking lot. The building itself is old and it smells moldy. The restaurant decor is outdated and simple. There are a few pictures that adorn the walls. Food/Beverage: -I got the Pad See Ew with beef. Noodle was cooked just right. I like mine cooked more than al dente. -Thai Iced Tea - Perfect level of sweetness. I prefer mine on the sweeter side. -Red Chicken Curry - My friend is confident she asked for chicken in her curry, but they omitted from the order. Since this was a carryout, we did not check for accuracy. Also, the curry was too liquidy instead of creamy. -Thai Iced Coffee - My friend said it was too dark. When we got to her house, she added .25 can of condensed milk. Final Thoughts: I liked my entree and beverage and would definitely return. A few things to note: -They deliver via GrubHub -Dine-in and carryout is available -They are closed on Tuesday. -They will be closed 6/30/22-7/4/22.

Great thai food.. flavorful and not too sweet. Worked at an authentic thai restrurant for 7yrs, I'm very impressed! Hidden gem for sure. Next time I'm in the area and crave noodles, stopping by again. Btw, (not pictured... devoured it) try out their Larb Gai! It's the ground chicken salad. Yumm!

My family and came over here after we picking strawberries from a farm. We were looking for a Thai restaurant for lunch. We were about to eat inside the car, but we ended eating inside since not crowed. Just us inside.the staff are nice and friendly. It's so small. If you need to go to bathroom, you have to get a code from the desk. The food is ok.

    Mushy Drunken Noodles

Underwhelming. I ordered the Drunken Noodles. The flavor profile was well executed. Nice use of fish sauce and basil to contrast with sweet notes of ginger and some unrecognizable sweet sauce. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. The beef was still tough and the connective tissue had not been cooked enough to break it down.

Small business restaurant with good food. Its always fresh and everything tastes real good! Big fan of the pad thai! Small space for dine in, but very good for takeout. Good portions too!

The most devious Thai food in the area. Fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere is a little dingy, but the food is delicious !

Did not even read any reviews before coming here, nor any research. It really was a spot that has good parking lot, right here on the spot for us. Well, so so so glad we chose this place! Once we got in, we were greeted and seated quickly. They got us the highchair immediately without us asking, which is great. Server is so nice and attentive to our baby to make sure he's happy. We ordered, didn't even wait long, our food was here! The portion was bigger than we thought, the food plating is nice, and it tastes really good! We got a bento box, a dragon roll and ramen to share. Ramen is standard, but the bento box and dragon roll were great. All items were cooked well and presented well. Tempura was light and crisp which is similar to the Japan quality standard. Overall, all food was good and we were pleasantly surprised for such family style restaurant to have this level of quality! We barely finished everything since it's a lot of food. Server came a few times with more napkins and offered new plates since the baby is quite messy. She even said bye before leaving for her break to let us know another server will assist us. I have nothing but great things about this place! They made us feel joy eating with our baby and not worried about cleaning up and getting messy. Overall I would love to support as a regular if I live around here! I recommend everyone to come try their sushi rolls or their bento box.

If you want a "just average" eating experience you should skip Rock Salt…read more It was fantastic. But, get there early, make a reservation, or be prepared to wait. My brother and I wanted something for lunch after going to a car swap meet. We landed on Rock Salt Grille. I'd eaten there several times before. We arrived at 11:45 AM (Saturday) and there was a 30 minute wait, so we grabbed two comfortable seats at the bar. A good call. I had the Rock Salt Oysters, broiled with bacon and parmigiana. Delightful. I also had the cream of, and Maryland crab, soup combination. My brother had the crab cake sandwich. I'd had it before, but wanted the oysters. His crab cake sandwich was double the size of any I'd ever seen, without exaggeration. He guessed it was 8 ounces or more, without exaggeration, with no visible filler, (Broiled). I had a few beers and we split the Bread pudding with Grand Marnier sauce. It was enough for four. The bar and food service was spectacular with "tag teaming" to make sure we didn't wait for anything. I'd like to thank the bartenders who served us perfectly: Kelsey and Nikkea. Award winners. Rock Salt is not inexpensive, but the quality of the food and the great service justify the premium. I'll be back more often

Okay ... This place used to be a great spot. But ... it's really went the wrong way in a hurry. I'm…read moreguessing from the strain of buying out the original owner. The signature disk was and perhaps still is the Seafood club. Which for this who don't know is a club sandwich with a small crab cake, scoop of shrimp as ok ad on a BLT. It use to cost somewhere around $25 and was a pretty good option at that price. Yesterday when I visited the prices were all inflated $40 for the same sandwich. I mean seriously ... didn't order it. Won't order it. What a ripoff ... Anyway we had the potato skins which were pretty traditional... cheese, bacon, scallions. Except rather than sour cream they offer some other sauce they call Rock Salt Sauce. I asked what it was and the bartender told me it was kind of like BBQ sauce. I passed on that and got the sour cream. They were perfectly acceptable as an app for the price. They did deliver a side cup of that sauce and it was terrible. It tasted like someone poured ketchup, Worcestershire, honey and some other stuff in a bowl for laughs. Another option that was shocking was steamed shrimp. $16 for half a pound or $32 per pound. C'mon ... Shrimp are inexpensive $10 or so a pond for some really nice size shrimp per pound. Why don't you just serve them with a side of vasoline? For dinner I got thru House burger. It's supposed to be a 1/2 burger with bacon, onion ring, cheddar cheese, and more of that special house sauce. I asked her to give me the burger, cheese, bacon , onion, and mayo. With NO RockSalt sauce. The make bartender said that it might come anyway because the kitchen guys do whatever they want. I had the fries with it. What I got was a 1/4 burger tops, I mean 4 bites tops. What's worse is it came with lettuce, tomato, on it beyond the stuff I ordered. Further they included a cup of the dreaded sauce and it had spilled and saturated about a 3rd of my French fries. The barmaid knew I was frustrated over it and helped with some bar napkins . My wife got the Salmon sandwich. It came with what seemed like 4-5 slices of bacon while my burger had 1 slice made into an X on top of the cheese. Anyway ... she said hers was okay. Anyway :... my 2 cents. The pricing really is outrageous. And instruct the kitchen to follow the instructions and if the customer doesn't want the dam Rock Salt sauce then don't put it on the plate. Wastes product that isn't going to be consumed and only bad things can happen with it on the way to the table. I honestly don't see any reason to go back. Probably won't be long before the main stream crowd starts to turn to other options.
