We decided to purchase our first RV this year. I did a lot of online research before I found a camper I wanted to see. it was located at Timber RV in Frankfurt. When we first arrived we met with Laura. She seemed knowledgeable and helpful. I put a deposit on a camper that I thought would fit my family. After thinking about it I went back and looked at more travel trailers to make sure we were getting the right one for our family. I did change my mind a few times and what we wanted. I was met with a very angry phone call from Laura yelling at me telling me that I must not be ready to purchase because I changed my mind. I don't know anyone who walks in anywhere and makes a major purchase on the first item they see. Most people look at more than one before making a final decision. So unprofessional and shows no class. We finally bought one and had it delivered. We were given a quick rundown. No manual was given. So we were truly on our own. The second time we used the camper the electric went out and a slide broke. It was fixed. The electric system had to be redone. However the third time we used it there was water because the faucet was a piece of junk. I called several times and waited 4 weeks. I finally used my own money to buy a new one. A salesman came and repaired it. I was told the owner returned my faucet and collected the money. I got nothing from them. brought my RV in for repairs to which Josh said would take 3 days. 15 days later they could not get to it. totally different then what I was told by Josh when I brought it in. my guess is he's the son of the owner and daddy protects his mediocre mechanic son. the guy should be barred from answering the phone, worst customer service I have had in 45 years. I love the town and the community, that's why my family and I decide to stay here. We're grateful for what Frankfort has provided. I've seen many new businesses, over the years, in Frankfort come in and begin to thrive. Timber View RV is one of those significant businesses that has struck me as a top contender in service, supply, and courtesy! While still keeping with the "small town charm" , they've seemed to manage top class service and selection at an attractive price! Im so glad to have stopped in one day recently. Came by after calling ahead to view a certain model and was told ok. So after an hour plus drive and arriving at the place they didnt allow us to view model, saying boss doesnt want to show it to us. We were told ahead the model was sold but still ok to view it. They denied us once we got there. One would believe you would want to earn future business but I guess not. Stay away. read more

These people are shady. We were told we could hold a camper with a deposit and if we changed our mind they would gladly refund our deposit. We ended buying a camper from Rick's RV in Joliet the next day. When we asked these crooks at Timber View to return our deposit they were rude and unprofessional but finally agreed to a credit. That was July 26th. It's September 12th and still no credit. Oh well, I just called Citibank and they filed a dispute. These idiots can fight it out with the bank. On a positive note, if you are looking for a RV go to Rick's in Joliet. The staff is much more professional and the service dept is much nicer. read more

Please beware of this place, if you go on there facebook page or there site you can't make comments.( I wonder why ) once they get your $ they don't care about you. I bought a 2021 cedar creek and it is garbage, the pantry is falling apart, the wall paper is not on correctly, the awning is bent and won't stay tight, there was a nail under the bed and when the slide came out it scratched the floor, this is all on our first time out . remember picked it up brand new. please check over your camper if you do go here but trust me I wouldn't. They don't even deserve the 1 star read more

Terrible service and terrible employees. Called ahead of time looking at a certain rv and they said it was sold but we can look at it anyway . Drove over a hour or more to view it and once we said we were not going to buy from them the employee refused to show us because we were not purchasing it from them how can a company refuse to show something all because we were not going to buy it from them. Would never refer this place to anyone terrible company and rude employees. Buyer beware and find another rv place because this one it no good and people are very rude. The biggest compliment I can pay any company is repeat business, and that's why I'm going in today to pick up my second RV from The people at Timber View RV Center. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. They showed me several that I had not even thought would word for me because of the price, and I decided on the 5th wheel of my dreams! The trade-in allowance and dealer discounts made it all possible. My new trailer is used, and before I pick it up Timber View went through the entire trailer, replacing a tire bumper, checking the wheel bearings, making sure everything was in perfect working order. They even installed a fireplace for me! I work with Paul all the time. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I've also had very good experiences with their repair and maintenance department. They're flexible and easy to work with, and I don't ever feel they are inflating the price for service or repairs. When it comes time to trade this one in, I'll go to Timber View first. read more

Absolutely the worst Customer Service I have received in my life. My Class C has been with them over 5 weeks to have an electronic steps motor and controller replaced. They do not provide any feedback as to where they are in the process. When I call I keep hearing that they are waiting on the parts which I had to prepay before they ordered. I paid for them 2 weeks ago and still nothing. Glad I haven't dewinterized the unit yet. At this pace I won't get to use it at all this yesr read more

Their storage facility is so clean and nicely organized. I was so fearful of storing my brand new truck and truck camper with other vehicles, thinking it might get scratched, dented, or sit in a filthy environment. But, I saw the facility and was extremely impressed. So clean and organized! Also, the people are very friendly and helpful there. I've had service done on my camper several times already and was always very pleased. I had my glow steps installed and the technician suggested a mount that supports the steps so I don't have to remove them while on the road. That was such a great idea, I thank him silently each time I pull the steps down and don't have to lug the 40 lb thing in and out each time. And an added bonus, they never rattle while on the road, either. I even showed a fellow camper with same camper as mine and he thought it was great, too. He's going to buy the steps and mount too. Another time, my pump was leaking. I was certain it would cost at least $100 to fix. It turned out to be a crushed washer that the technician replaced for barely anything. Also, because my camper is so small and doesn't have all the plumbing a large camper has, they give me a discounted rate for winterizing and de-winterizing. Overall, they are an excellent business and I'm so pleased they are in the vicinity! read more
