The finance gentleman John his idea of closing was an email that said sign here. The service department was awful, the service manager never answered any of my questions in a clear manner. Luis who was the senior person at this location when we requested his help on our issues he either never called us back or handed our issues off to others. No corrective action taken. Absolutely unacceptable experience with Jayco and Rick's RV…read more I bought my Jayco camper brand new just a year ago, and it has now been sitting in Rick's RV's service department for over a month for warranty repairs I was told would take two weeks. During this entire time, I have received zero updates unless I call them myself. Meanwhile, I am still making payments on this camper and paying for storage I can't even use because my camper is stuck in their shop. This has completely ruined my family's summer camping plans, and it is beyond frustrating that a brand-new camper should need to be in service for over a month without clear updates. To make matters worse, Rick's RV told me I could come pick up the camper without a working stove (which is under warranty) so I could use it. How ridiculous is it to pay $27,000 for a camper only to be told I can take it without a fully functioning kitchen because Jayco and Rick's RV can't figure out whether to replace the stove? The lack of transparency, accountability, and customer service from both Jayco and Rick's RV is outrageous and should be a serious warning to anyone thinking about buying from either company. They have my money, but I don't have the working camper I paid for, and they don't seem to care how this impacts their customers. If you are considering purchasing a Jayco or working with Rick's RV, think twice. Their customer service ends the moment they get your money, and you will be stuck chasing them for updates while your plans and wallet suffer. After thinking about it I went back and looked at more travel trailers to make sure we were getting the right one for our family. I did change my mind a few times and what we wanted. I was met with a very angry phone call from Laura yelling at me telling me that I must not be ready to purchase because I changed my mind. I don't know anyone who walks in anywhere and makes a major purchase on the first item they see. Most people look at more than one before making a final decision. So unprofessional and shows no class. We finally bought one and had it delivered. We were given a quick rundown. No manual was given. So we were truly on our own. The second time we used the camper the electric went out and a slide broke. It was fixed. The electric system had to be redone. However the third time we used it there was water because the faucet was a piece of junk. I called several times and waited 4 weeks. I finally used my own money to buy a new one. A salesman came and repaired it. I was told the owner returned my faucet and collected the money. I got nothing from them. If you're interested in buying a camper go someplace else or buy used.

Service caught a significant issue with the trailers 5th wheel mount and my F350 hitch. Needed a new part and the MANAGER jumped in a car to go get it 3 Hours away..... YES, I did wait it out and was treated by the Staff PHENOMENALLY.... I was ready to pay Cash.... I CAREFULLY asked questions as we talked finance and walked away SEVERAL THOUSAND UNDER MY BUDGET after including SEVERAL extended warranties.... Financed some just because and there is NO penalty to pay it off in four months on a 48 month term I chose. (If you dont understand the finance terms ASK.... I stopped them early on as should any SMART shopper.) The acceptance walk thru with the tech revealed the need for additional waste line parts.... They handed them to me with the purchase kit.... $ 70.00 + saved. The new vehicle kit is a very nice touch..... was ready to purchase separately but everything you need is provided... (see previous comment) Ok.... I purchased several optional packages which you really dont need. I made a passing remark as I did the acceptance walk thru on one I regretted agreeing to.... MOMENTS after finishing the acceptance walk the ALWAYS HAPPY/BUBBLY Kathtyn walks up and hands me a piece of paper CANCELING the package and says, "Service Tech mentioned you did not want... here's the change." That was AMAZING... I highly recommend using Braidwood Camping World... EXTREMELY Friendly staff... Stands behind the product and fixes it right.... Very happy....

The little bit of caulking they did ​was done so quickly and terribly. There's gaps everywhere. I think they were salty that I didn't want to sell them the 5th wheel so they did trash work.
