There was also a game room that kept the youngest of our group occupied, apologies for all the yells of delight from our gaggle of cousins! I ordered the jalapeño poppers and while they were good, the fry oil was a bit old so they were more brown than golden. It didn't stop me from eating them all though! I also had the steak melt - on Texas Toast - and it was incredible, really hit the spot. My husband had the bleu cheese burger and really enjoyed it. The bar area that we walked through seemed like a great place to gather and enjoy a cold beverage. My wife ordered the grilled shrimp and she said it was some of the best she has had in a long time. I ordered the t-bone steak and it was cooked the way I ordered it and came with a lot of Montreal steak season on it but it did taste just fine. Our server kept the kids drinks full as well as our beers full. Before we left we got to meet the owners and both of them where very nice and shared some information about their great smoked meats they're so proud of. We were lucky enough to end up here, where the owner sat down to talk with us as we ordered, tell us her favorites and what the specials were.
