The sandwich was good, but there was no garnish. The sandwich was pressed with lots of meat. You'd think they could add a bit of lettuce or something to not make it look so sparse. Then when we left she told us it was $5 burger day. Why didn't she mention it before we ordered. Duh....

The Pot Roast Burger (dang that sounds tasty), Baonator BLT (oh, man, I love lots of bacon on a BLT!), Louies Italian Roast Beef (yum, served on a garlic butter hoagie bun) or one of their amazing Paninis? How to choose? We decided on the Italian roast beef, and it was great. I'm going to admit I have a problem with lunch places, especially when I come after the noon rush because so many times the French fries are sad, barely warm wilted fries and the hot sandwich isn't much better. Let me tell you right now that Louies makes sure the hot sandwiches are steaming hot and the fries are crispy and right out of the fries. I was in lunch heaven! Just know all the restaurant meat comes from their own butcher shop right down the street, Louie's Finer Meats, another must stop when in town. Both places will bring joy to your taste buds!

Absolute MUST for brunch in patio season!…read more The coolest part of this space is their patio: you can see private planes coming and going since the patio is right on the runway for a private airport. You can book helicopter rides from here! Seriously such a cool way to spend a special occasion! We came for brunch and loved everything we ordered: - Bloody mary set - great for sharing and sampling - Caesar salad - Fried chicken sandwich - they turned it into two rather than one big one which we liked for sharing - Breakfast pizza This was picture perfect start to finish. We had lovely service and were pinching ourselves at how cool this place is!

We arrived before our reservation so grabbed a seat at the bar. Came just in time for the tail end of Happy Hour and enjoyed a glass of wine and beer with the appetizers of truffle potato wedges and charcuterie. Loved the charcuterie especially the cheeses, but do wish the bread was sliced better. The potato wedges were piping hot but a bit too thick on the potato for me. We finally got seated and was pretty disappointed as I saw that the table they sat us at was open the entire time we were at the bar. I was told by the hostess that someone was sitting at our table when we arrived, but clearly that was not true. I was grateful that they didn't make us eat off the Restaurant Week menu and I got the gargenelli pasta. It was a nice pasta dish with the goat cheese and the toasty bread crumbs. I didn't taste any of the n'duja though the waitress said it was in the sauce. Overall a nice dinner but do wish the service was as good as it was in the bar area.

Place was lovely! Seated immediately. Served a drink immediately. Water came quickly. Ordered edamame while I waited for my dining partner. Wow- they were delicious! Then ordered the pistachio crusted walleye BLT with extra lettuce. That was a serious sandwich. Very good but pistachio didn't come out. Everyone attentive and I loved the communication. They had a large party coming in and I had been "camping" while waiting for my dining partner. We agreed to be done before they needed to set up versus changing tables. All good!

Both were wonderfully flavorful! My mom tried the grilled salmon with rice and asparagus, which I frankly didn't bother to try because I knew it wouldn't compare to the other two plates. The Brussels sprouts as an appetizer was decent, but had too much balsamic glaze, my table agreed. Our server was a bit hard to talk to, but still attentive and helpful. The patio was incredible, though. Especially as it got darker out, the string lights made a very enchanting vibe- minus all the bugs biting your ankles. I would plan to return, but be prepared for a heftier bill!

The restaurant was understaffed - the bartender was not only running the bar but also serving the entire dining area. We sat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before being greeted. We also overheard a nearby table voice frustration about the slow service. We're pretty patient, so it wasn't the end of the world, but it was noticeably slow. That said, once we were helped, our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Spicy Margarita and my husband went with an Old Fashioned. My margarita was on the weaker side; not bad, just forgettable. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned. For food, we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Crab-Stuffed Portabella. The standout was definitely the Bang Bang Shrimp; we both really liked it. The lettuce wraps and stuffed mushroom were fine, just not dishes we'd return specifically for. The overall vibe was calm and low-key, and the staff was kind despite being stretched thin. I'm glad we gave it a try, but it's probably not a place we'll be rushing back to.
