We've worked with one of the trainers there, Jazz, in two private sessions but their help goes way beyond just those in person hours. Jazz has offered counsel over email several times when we've reached out with behavior questions or just general dog advice. They truly have gone above and beyond with helping us become confident dog owners. When we are in person, the facility is clean and spacious and the staff treat our dog like their own. They answer any and all of your questions and check in several times to make sure it's all making sense to you. We will be back in the future and I recommend for all pet parents!

I started with a virtual behavioral consultation with Yvonne. It was fantastic and really helped, so I immediately signed up for the Basic Pawzibilities class, which was also led by Yvonne. It was a wonderful experience for me and my dog. The facility is super nice, the class size was just right, and Yvonne is a fantastic instructor. My dog learned so much and her overall demeanor has improved dramatically since taking the class. I also think the services provided are offered at an exceptional value. I'm very pleased and will likely sign up for additional programs here in the future.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about The Canine Club of Chicago, Raza, and his entire…read moreteam. Sending your dog away for 4 weeks is a HUGE decision, and I was definitely nervous going into the Board and Train program. You're trusting someone with a member of your family, so I had a million questions and wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. Looking back now, choosing The Canine Club was one of the best decisions I could have made. The difference from before the program to now is honestly night and day. I didn't just get my dog back knowing a few commands. I got back a dog who actually understands structure, boundaries, communication, and what is expected of them. Walks are more enjoyable, everyday life is less stressful, and I feel so much more confident handling different situations because Raza didn't only train my dog, he taught ME how to continue everything at home. That was probably my favorite part of the entire experience. Raza genuinely cares about the relationship between the dog and the owner. He takes the time to explain the why behind everything instead of just telling you what to do. You can immediately tell how passionate and knowledgeable he is about dogs, and that same energy carries over to his team. The communication throughout the 4 weeks was amazing too. Getting updates and being able to see the progress happening made being away from my dog so much easier. Every week I could see more confidence, better obedience, and more control developing. The go home lesson was incredibly thorough and made me realize how much work actually goes into this program. They didn't just hand me my dog and send me on my way. Raza made sure I understood the training, the equipment, the commands, and how to maintain the results long term. A 4 week Board and Train is definitely an investment, but after experiencing the results firsthand, I completely understand why. The amount of time, consistency, knowledge, and individual attention that goes into each dog is worth it. If you're frustrated, overwhelmed, or feel like you've tried everything with your dog, give The Canine Club a chance. I wish I would have done it sooner. Thank you Raza and the entire Canine Club team for taking such amazing care of my dog and giving us a completely different quality of life together. You guys are truly incredible at what you do. 10/10 experience and I would recommend The Canine Club of Chicago without hesitation.

The Canine Club of Chicago and their 4 week Board and Train program. Sending our Labrador…read moreRetriever, Goose, here was one of the best decisions we have ever made for him and for our family. Before training, everyday life with Goose could honestly be exhausting. He is a loving, amazing dog, but he had so much energy and very little impulse control. Walks were a struggle because of pulling and getting overly excited by everything around him. He would have a hard time settling down, listening when distracted, holding commands, and understanding when it was time to be calm. We found ourselves constantly repeating commands, correcting the same behaviors, and feeling like Goose was running the household instead of us being able to simply enjoy him. The difference after four weeks is incredible. Goose came home still having the same happy, goofy personality we love, but now he has structure, confidence, patience, and an understanding of what is expected of him. His leash walking has completely changed. Instead of being dragged around or constantly fighting for his attention, we can actually enjoy peaceful walks together. His obedience around distractions is on another level. His place command has been life changing in the house, especially when guests come over, food is being prepared, or we simply need him to relax. His recall, sit, down, stay, overall engagement, and ability to settle have improved tremendously. What impressed us most is that this was not about turning Goose into a robot. He is still Goose. He is still playful, affectionate, excited, and full of personality. He just finally understands how to control himself and communicate with us. Raza's passion for dogs and training is obvious from the moment you speak with him. He genuinely cares about the dogs in his program and takes pride in producing real results, not just teaching a few tricks for a video. He took the time to understand Goose as an individual dog and worked through the behaviors that were actually making our daily life difficult. The communication throughout the program was another huge reason we had such a great experience. We felt comfortable knowing how Goose was doing and could see the progress being made. The team was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and clearly invested in his success. The go home experience was also extremely valuable because they did not just hand us a trained dog and send us on our way. They showed us how to communicate with Goose, how to maintain his training, and how to continue building on everything he learned. That part made us feel confident that the results would actually carry over into our everyday life. A Board and Train program is definitely an investment, and we thought seriously about it before enrolling Goose. After seeing the results, I can genuinely say it was worth every penny. The quality of life improvement alone has been priceless. We are able to take Goose more places, enjoy walks, have people over, relax at home, and include him in our lives without constantly worrying about what behavior we are going to have to manage next. The biggest change is that we are finally able to enjoy our dog instead of constantly struggling with our dog. If you are considering The Canine Club of Chicago and wondering whether the 4 week Board and Train is worth it, our experience with Goose is an absolute yes. The results exceeded our expectations, the communication was excellent, and you can tell Raza and his team truly care about what they do. Thank you to Raza and everyone at The Canine Club of Chicago for giving us an even better version of the dog we already loved. The difference this program has made in our home and in our relationship with Goose has honestly been life changing.

I emailed them multiple times asking for an updated statement, and they just kept sending the same incorrect one back. When I called to explain the issue, they argued with me on the phone instead of helping. For a place that claims to be a "luxury" clinic, the customer service and professionalism were terrible. Extremely frustrating experience and definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

I recently requested a refill for my cat's prescription diet, which is medically necessary due to a severe intolerance to regular food that causes bloody diarrhea. I was initially told the refill could not be authorized because my cat had not been seen in over a year. That statement was incorrect. My cat was seen in July 2025, and the staff eventually acknowledged that fact. After that, I was told that because my cat's regular veterinarian had moved to a different location, a new veterinarian would need to see him before the prescription could be renewed. Frankly, that explanation makes little sense. The entire purpose of a veterinary practice is continuity of care. My cat's diagnosis, history, and response to treatment are thoroughly documented in his medical record by one of your own veterinarians. If a documented medical condition and treatment plan established by your own provider cannot be relied upon by another veterinarian within the same practice, what does that say about the confidence you have in your own medical records and clinicians? Are clients expected to start over every time a veterinarian changes locations? Should established diagnoses suddenly become questionable because the original veterinarian is no longer in the building? That rationale undermines the very concept of a group practice. What is most troubling is that despite being informed that interruption of this diet could result in my cat developing bloody diarrhea, there was no apparent urgency, compassion, or effort to help. The response I received felt focused on generating another office visit rather than ensuring continuity of care for a patient with a known medical condition. The front desk staff appeared completely unbothered by the situation, despite understanding the potential consequences for my cat. Meanwhile, I continue to receive marketing emails and promotions for care plans, which seem to receive more attention than the needs of actual patients. After more than four years as a loyal client, I am deeply disappointed. This experience has completely eroded my trust in this practice. I will be transferring all of my pets' care to West Loop Veterinary Care. Shame on you for treating a loyal client--and more importantly, a sick animal--this way.

She was so approachable, understanding, and really went into the details of what option would best support my tiny fur children. Fast forward 3 months and we just wrapped up our in-home training package with Maureen! I cannot stress how amazing the entire experience was. Maureen has truly changed our lives for the better. Where we started to where we are now is night and day better, especially for my more aggressive dog Luna! We went from no one being able to enter our apartment with the dogs out to now the dogs just hanging out when people are here! Maureen is patient with pets AND people. She is always positive and really explains the WHY of the behaviors and outcomes. She's always on time, super professional, and gave us practical tools that actually work to truly set our dogs up for success but also US up for success as "parents" Honestly, I am a little sad Maureen is so great at her job because we will miss her coming over! If you want a trainer who knows her stuff and makes the whole process feel doable, Maureen is your person!
