With all due honesty, I simply cannot praise Albert at Timberland Tree Care Services enough for his stellar courtesy, as well as, his astute accessment and amazingly prompt attention to my particular tree care needs. Unknowingly, and, during the silent cloak of midnight, disaster hit me in the way of an immense and ancient oak tree, whose humongous, oversized, and, evidently, aged and diseased limbs, finally gave way, crashing so hard and heavily down into my front yard, leaving nearly a twelve inch deep depression into the ground, just from the weight of the astonishing impact. Gratefully, the limbs fell onto only the front lawn. However, its immense diseased network of numerous branches and pervasive foliage, spewed well onto the sidewalk, and, nearly into the middle of the street, affecting the residential flow of traffic. Interestingly, just a little over a year before this incident, I had previously received a supposed assessment from some other well known local competitor arborist, whom had assured me that my oak tree was sound, solid and healthy. Well, this "specialist" was terribly wrong. Thank Heaven that this disaster had not caused any harm to any human or animal within its midst, when the humongous branches finally gave way. Immediately, I then called yet another known competitor to attend to this emergency. And, when these other "specialists" arrived, they complained that the job was too big for them. In addition, they also complained that because I had bees flying about the fallen branches, that they would only perform a token clean-up, basically, disregarding my concerns. I was also informed that I would have to deal with the bees, myself. Moreover, they seemed very disinterested in my concern for safety, and, more concerned for going on their own vacations that week, thereby, effectively dismissing me from their help and services. Wow. Unbelievable. Who can I turn to? Surprisingly, I had just received a coupon in the mail for Timberland Tree Care. This fortuitous slip of advertisement had a photo of a technician climbing atop a huge redwood with specialized professional equipment. I called them immediately. And, to my utter relief, Albert, the company owner, and, an experienced arborist, kindly answered the line, personally. Albert was courteous and took the time to caringly listen to my frustrations and concerns. Like a flash, he was at my residence within minutes, along with an able crew and toting amazing top of the line, heavy-duty equipment and trucks in tow. Albert diagnosed the tree stating that it had been diseased for years, and, that for my safety, would need to be removed, now. He did not even mind the bees, stating that his crew could simply hose them with water, a benevolent way to disorient and disperse them, without detroying them. Albert also trimmed the other immense oak tree rooted on the property, paying close attention to its age, weight, breadth, growth pattern of the branches, and, unique spread and balance of the tree. It was clear Albert was a true arborist whom is experienced, and, also environmentally conscious to protect flora and fauna. Wow. Albert and his crew returned for several days, arriving on time, and, always conscious of cleaning up any and all debris. They were also very mindful of not damaging any other structures, roofing, and, fences. Albert even took time to help other neighbors nearby (the neighbors were so impressed with Albert), stopping to answer their questions, concerns and help them with their tree care needs. Albert and his talented and responsive crew at Timberland Tree Care are simply outstanding, and, in my book, absolutely blow away the competition. Timberland responded to an emergency situation quickly - other services would not. They provided an estimate within two days of my initial call and scheduled work to occur within three days thereafter (even though other jobs were previously committed), they trimmed the tree, and re-cabled the major trunk to stop the tree from continuing to split. Without their willingness to address the emergency properly, there would have been a significant loss of property where I would have assumed liability. Timberland's crew arrived on time, were organized, and managed the task efficiently despite a variety of site problems. I was genuinely impressed by how they were able to handled the situation. kenneth cook vallejo,calif got a estimate on 8/16/2018 but wanted to wait later in year to have work done. on 9/21/2018 big limb broke off and fell into roadway was able to drag in up on to my property,then called timberland to come out and trim tree.'ray' in the office said she could have a crew out to me today!within a few hours! their leadman martin trim the tree in a safe and timely manor and the crew did a excellent job of cleanup and you would not know that they had nubbed a 60ft tree,chipped the limbs and left the street cleaner than when they came. my thanks for a great job welldoneand i will tell anyone that asks to go to timberland for excellent work at a fair price! read more

Initially a branch had broken off of a tall Monterey Pine and I was going to have the branch removed. After further inspection it was determined that the tree was full of decay and had to be removed. Albert and crew did an exceptional job removing the tree, grinding up all of the branches and trunk and leaving them for mulch. The job was done quickly and efficiently, the cleanup was amazing. Wow! Excellent job by Timberland Tree Service on our 3 huge California Peppers in our back yard! They were completely overgrown over the past 20+ years and Jose and a crew of 4 did an awesome job sculpting them into beautiful shapes. Did a great job clearing all of the branches and made sure they didn't impact the pool below or the nearby play structure. Jose also did a nice job trimming the crepe myrtles in our front yard, they will look beautiful this coming spring.
