Cozy spot for good tacos. Loved the fresh juices they had. Average prices for meals. Took about 20-30 mins to get meals served.

Service is quick, friendly and reliable. I had a pork bowl with rice, pico, and corn/cheese mix. The food was flavorful and I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

I went on a Sunday around 3. The owner was there and very hands on. He greeted us and helped us by showing us there was a paper menu as well so we can look at it and checked on us later to see how we liked the food. We ordered the Fuego Criollo bowl, empanada patty of pork and cheese, and the yaroa which is plantain cheese and chicken. We enjoyed it. The food was fresh , warm, and very filling. Nice serving sizes. Our coffees were big and strong like we like it. And we sat with our son in the front to see outside. The music was nice and service was too. The bowl had everything : beans , rice , chicken , cheese etc and empanada was so good. Would go back and have the same bowl again beats the taste of any chipotle or fast food chain. It's a nice vibe. Thanks Timbi

I actually came here on a whim with my parents (who are very picky eaters and prefer Colombian food more than anything), and they were very satisfied! They have plates for really any palate, from baked goods to full meals, you will find something delicious. We happen to come on a Sunday morning and ordered smoothies (strawberry ones) to start our meals. A bit on the sweet side, but you can absolutely ask for a bit less sugar. The meal that seemed the most popular was a big chicken soup. My dad got it and was in love. It seemed like a good hangover cure, if u were looking around at the guys dragging around with long faces. We also go a tipical breakfast which included beans, eggs, rice and meat. This is very similar to a Colombian calentado, and it was a huge hit for my mom. Hubby and I shared an order of pupusas, crispy, delcious and hit the spot! All the meals were large enough to share, which we did along side some pastries, coffees and smoothies. The only star I am taking off is because the outside is super shady looking and for a while I thought it was a bar and hesistated to go in. Also, service took pretty long on menu items that weren't on their buffet. Overall, all of us left with full and happy bellies! I would absolutely come back again.

Well we fixed that as of last night and wow did we have a tasty experience. Bryan, our server, made sure we were ordering in the best way possible to ensure our return trip. So many tasty dishes to choose from and we had both narrowed down to two which Bryan explained and guided us on. Ironically my dish per a Google AI search was the most enjoyed dish. Funny, AI can now even help summarize all the Google reviews and to distill it down for us in seconds. So on this Friday evening after work, here's what we ordered... we start off with a mango margarita which we shared and this was over ice not frozen in a properly salted glass and boy did it taste awesome. We started off with an appetizer of the.Pastelillos Boricuas (3 pieces), it was for us cooked to perfection. It was not over fried. The meat was tender. It was tasty. It was. The crust was soft, even though it had some crispness to it, and I would absolutely start with these again. For our mains, my wife had the Ropa Vienna Platter and she absolutely loved it and reminded her of her time down in Miami for school and getting local Cuban or Caribbean or Puerto Rican food and this just hit it for her. For me I followed my Google AI search... The standout, highly-rated dish at La Casona Restaurante & Bar in Hamilton is their Trifongo. Customers rave about this signature item, often ordered with Churrasco A La Criolla (skirt steak in a flavorful Creole sauce). This came in a wooden round bowl at first I thought it was a coconut shell. It was absolutely delicious moist tender tasty. Our whole dinner experience met exactly with what I was looking for when I told my wife I'm tired of our usual restaurants. I wanna try something different. I don't know what it is but it's a food group that we don't eat or don't eat often and that's how we found La Casona. They have a bar. There's a huge parking lot outback indoor outdoor dining. It's perfect for romantic night out for two as well as large groups. Note they have different pricing for cash paying versus credit card. Staff super friendly courteous the place is immaculately clean, and the food was scrumptious.

It's a relatively unassuming space; we went during the week, so it wasn't super crowded, but we had a good time there together. I can't recall exactly what I ordered, but the shared items and drinks and food were all delicious, and I would be down to return! Hope to order again from them in the future, or to visit again!

All of the appetizers were great, and can be spilt with friends: -Quesadillas -Calamari -Nachos -Plantain w| Cheese The plantain with melted cheese was such a treat, glad we tried it. If you're looking for the perfect savory, sweet, and non-sweet balanced combination of flavor this is the one! The nachos were tasty, just your traditional melted cheese, ground beef, salsa, sour cream, and guac. The quesadilla's were soft and grilled well (not hard or over cooked). The calamari is not the original smaller squid like pieces with tentacles still attached, it's more so chopped into rings and served with a red sauce. Not sure if they have garlic aioli mayo or not, ask your server. The inside is a vibe, with one side being a full restaurant, and the other side being a smaller room with a full bar, tables, and DJ Booth set up. It's a great place to meet up for dinner with friends! There's music playing inside but not so loud that you can't have a conversation which is great. There is a free parking lot in the back of the building. The menu's are on ipad's which we loved! Enjoy!!

My expectations were not high as I knew this location as Boardwalk Fries and a Portuguese restaurant the quickly went out of business - both of which I was not impressed with. So, I was really pleasantly surprised to walk into a tastefully, well decorated restaurant with full bar. Menus are on tablets with language selection capability - really useful and with pictures. The server came right away to offer help and explain some of the selections we were interested in. However, when we were eating, we were no disturbed. My wife had skirt steak. It was $30, but when you consider the cost of a skirt steak at the grocery store these days and that it came with 2 sides of your choice, I think you would agree its value. I had fish with garlic butter sauce. Don't know what kind of fish it was - didn't ask - but it was delicious. It also came with 2 sides and was only $20 as I remember. I enjoyed a Club Columbia beer with my meal and finished with a fantastic Columbia coffee. (I'm usually a cream and sugar kind of guy, but I took the chance to taste it without sugar and then finished without ever adding it. It was that good.) I had their flan for desert and really enjoyed it. A little thicker than Mexican flan with an almost cheesecake like consistency. My wife had a passionfruit desert which really didn't interest me - not a passionfruit fan, but after 1 taste I found myself going back for another and then another. Overall great food and experience. A note that others have pointed out. When I got the bill, the bottom line was like $97 and that usually includes tax and mor recently a credit card surcharge. I was about to add a tip when I notice 20% had already been included in that $97. So, my meal cost was only $75.00. If you choose to eat here, remember this.
