My friend and I went here a few days ago to get our nails done, and to start the prices are insane. It was going to be 95$ for a plain set of acrylics, which I think is completely unreasonable. The woman doing my nails also made me bleed multiple times, and didn't pay attention when I told her I wanted to change and not do the design anymore. The shape of the nails is not consistent on both hands, and I requested gel and got acrylic. They also look very messy and the chrome that was put on is all over my cuticles. My friend requested to get polka dots on her nails and was ignored. She also asked the worker for help picking a certain maroon color and was dismissed. The workers were not attentive nor did they do a good job.

Instead of helping the person who had the earlier appointment and had already been waiting, the technician left me sitting there and started helping the 5:30 client. It's incredibly disrespectful and completely defeats the purpose of making an appointment. If you're going to ignore appointment times and serve people out of order, don't bother scheduling them at all. Total waste of time (40 minutes before I walked out) and very unprofessional.

Honestly, I shouldn't have left the salon, but I called to let them know I was dissatisfied and they offered to have me come back on another day to redo the polish and try and fix the acrylic. It was Sunday evening and Vivian was the only place open and taking walk-in appointments. Upon arrival, we were taken right away and the staff was extremely nice. My technician started conversation, was interested in my visit to East Lansing, and did a great job on my nails! The salon had a clean bathroom and all-around clean facilities. My gel manicure turned out great and they even gave me a punch card (which I gave to my friend who lives there). After three visits they offer 10% off your fourth! I usually…read morejust get a pedicure and for a mani, I like just the tech to clean my cuticles and buff nails. You'd think it be simple. I called A+ Nail for an appointment, the gentleman I spoke to and I agreed on 1:30pm. I showed up a few minutes late. Upon arrival there were four or five technicians working on people, so they sat me down at pedi chair and this is where the problem started...I waited a good 5-8 mins before someone came to start pedi. Once pedi began, I was again to wait for a different tech to come finish pedi and paint my nails. While waiting, I observed a tech taking care of two people at the same time. ?!?!?! I'm totally confused why they'd do something like this. I feel they take on too many people for the amount of techs they have. I would not go back, just wasn't a good fit for me.
