They told me to leave too early, and even though I was careful, it chipped. Also there were TONS of bubbles When I had a different nail tech (a wonderful student at MSU) take them off, she informed me that the salon had used MMA as the bonding agent which is BANNED in ALL STATES as it is toxic for your skin. The woman doing my nails also made me bleed multiple times, and didn't pay attention when I told her I wanted to change and not do the design anymore. The shape of the nails is not consistent on both hands, and I requested gel and got acrylic. They also look very messy and the chrome that was put on is all over my cuticles. My friend requested to get polka dots on her nails and was ignored. She also asked the worker for help picking a certain maroon color and was dismissed. The workers were not attentive nor did they do a good job.

Then while I was sitting there waiting for the service to actually start, another client walked in and said they had a 5:30 appointment. Instead of helping the person who had the earlier appointment and had already been waiting, the technician left me sitting there and started helping the 5:30 client. It's incredibly disrespectful and completely defeats the purpose of making an appointment. If you're going to ignore appointment times and serve people out of order, don't bother scheduling them at all. Total waste of time (40 minutes before I walked out) and very unprofessional.

Honestly, I shouldn't have left the salon, but I called to let them know I was dissatisfied and they offered to have me come back on another day to redo the polish and try and fix the acrylic. Half the nails came off a week later and I'll just go elsewhere.

It was Sunday evening and Vivian was the only place open and taking walk-in appointments. Upon arrival, we were taken right away and the staff was extremely nice. My technician started conversation, was interested in my visit to East Lansing, and did a great job on my nails! The salon had a clean bathroom and all-around clean facilities. My gel manicure turned out great and they even gave me a punch card (which I gave to my friend who lives there). After three visits they offer 10% off your fourth! The receptionist said they would refund me, but after three days they decided they were not going to do that, whilst insinuating I was not telling the truth about the haircut. Will never go back again. Plus my friend and I both got dip on our nails and got shellac on our toes with our pedicure and were charged different prices. And the prices were different than what was posted.
