We kindly asked if they could be turned off once the movie was well underway because we, again, were the only ones in the theater, and they were distracting. We were told that it would take 20 minutes to turn them off, so the answer was a no, which was sort of understandable. However, the tipping point for me personally was that there was so much refuse, including old candy, popcorn, and other concessions, all over the carpet in every direction- almost asking for a rodent infestation. The tape used to hold parts of the stairs to the upper seating area together was half off. The seats were so filthy that brown stains of oil and soil were visible on all of them throughout Theater 3. I was honestly afraid of rodents throughout the whole movie since there was so much food covering the floor. Please use a vacuum at least once a day; it's a health hazard for the community otherwise. I say this as a concerned parent and caring community member. The place is absolutely filthy.

They have some special sandwiches hotdog dogs pizza nachos. You can get a couple of white castle cheeseburgers. The seats are very comfortable. You have a place to put your food in front of you. You won't find routine horror films and obnoxious super violent films with no redeeming quality. There are three screens, a pinball arcade and a comfortable seating area. Management is friendly, service oriented and knowledgeable about films. Moderately priced. We will be coming back regularly and suggest you will also become fans.

5/19- 5/20/26 Visits:…read more -5/19/26: We came for the special Fredrick Church 200th b-day exhibit. The paintings were wonderful to view. I'm taking one star off. The male tour guide was underwhelming to say the least. He did admit that it was his first tour. I believe for Church's 200th birthday exhibition, a paying customer would've expected the guide to give an overview on the artist and a description of his paintings. All we received was a a person walking the group into a couple rooms. I even tried to question him about one of the paintings. He basically threw the question back at me. -5/20/26: We took an electric car tour throughout the 5 mile narrow hilly estate. Price $40 and totally worth it! Ellen was our tour guide and driver. Brava to Ellen! She was extremely thorough and knowledgeable about the entire Fredric Church estate. A wonderful gift shop is available on the premises.

This is definitely the most comprehensive makerspace I've ever been to!…read more There's been some recent staff changes, and things seem to be in a bit of flux, but the space is amazing, and I personally would love to become more active here when I am in the 518. I'd like to see some new equipment, and have some of the existing equipment repaired or replaced. But, there's really good bones, here. Having opted for a family membership with my partner, we've brought my spawn here several times. The kids space is pretty well set up. It would be nice if it were staffed a little more. I'd actually say that's one of the things the space lacks, is clear staffing. Everyone I've met so far has been friendly, and helpful. Very nice. The location is really central. Parking is the only real pain, weekends are pretty convenient. Lots of nearby food and beverage. Nibble moved in right next door. It's a great space.

This is a tiny, 100-seat theater nestled in the town of Hudson, but the production quality is that…read moreof a much larger space. I recently caught "Imagining Madoff" here, and I was impressed by not only the writing and the acting, but also by the genuine community that supports these productions. I went in with low expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised. But I couldn't help but notice...perhaps it's because we caught the opening night show and only theater patrons were present, but the crowd here at Stageworks is...not young. At 107 years of age, my father was the youngest man in the crowd. My mother was one of several people that fell asleep during the performance, but I suppose that's what happens when you don't have an intermission, and everyone in the audience has been on the same sleep schedule since before electricity. They should've taken advantage of the coffee available pre-show for a $1 donation.* The theater WAS kept at around 55 degrees, probably to try and keep people awake/prevent them from decomposing. Stageworks is not safe. I worked there as an intern in the summer of 2010. Anybody who comes to…read moreStageworks to either work there or see a show is at risk. The Artistic Director's autistic nephew also lives in the building and gets violent whenever he gets angry. While I was working there, he came out of his room, tried to hit me, and also grabbed me. I was terrified because he's a 6'4" 23 year old man who can easily hurt you if he wanted to. Because he's autistic, he doesn't understand his actions and can go after anyone. I strongly encourage anybody thinking about going there not to if you don't want to take the chance of getting hurt.
