Time Out is a small family-owned massage business, ran by two talented women. I bought a couples massage from Groupon to enjoy with my boyfriend for our dating anniversary, and it was our first couples massage. I'll admit I was a little hesitant after seeing the previous reviews too, but I like to see things for myself- and I'm glad I did. When you walk up the stairs, you're greeted by a candlelit door that is kept locked (if it is not yet your appointment time). It's clear this is done to prevent someone who arrives too early from disturbing another person's massage experience. When it is your time, they will open the door for you. The inside is kept dark and quiet, and it's nothing fancy but it's very comfortable, and the rooms have a bit of Asian-inspired style that my boyfriend and I really liked. The massage itself was really nice. I've only had one massage before, and it was much better than my first. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage as well. I felt like my legs and feet got the attention that they needed, and the lemongrass foot scrub was refreshing and smelled nice. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because one of the masseuses arrived a bit late. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a 60 minute couples massage with lemongrass foot scrub. I read the bad reviews so I was hesitant at first but I'm so glad I took the risk and made my booking regardless. It was worth every penny! We had problems finding the building at first but when we got there we were greeted with smiles and the great experience escalated from there. It wasn't the fanciest place but the atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable with dimly lite lights and relaxing music. The massage tables were close to each other (I posted a picture of them) which I appreciate, we've had couples massages before where you're so far away you don't even feel like you're in the same room. Everything that they did was explained before hand to ensure that we were comfortable. The foot scrub was AMAZING! The lemongrass aroma was extremely relaxing. All in all, it was such an enjoyable experience. Our only complaint is it felt like it ended too soon but maybe we just loved it so much that it felt fast! We will definitely be back. Ps. If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased the 60 minute massage w/ the facial deal we found on Groupon $55. I called to book my appointment on Thursday of this week for a friend and I for Saturday (today). We arrived a few minutes early for our appt. shortly after another couple. The couple ahead of us were taken to the back. Carolyn came out and she said she didn't have any reservations for anyone named Shannon. She asked if I made an appt. and then asked who I spoke to when I made the appt. I told her that I spoke to her and she asked what number I called. Really? So I take out my phone to show her that I called her office 3 separate occasions to book the appt. When she confirmed I called her she said we "have 3 options 1. We cancel our Groupon 2. We can wait or 3. We can come back at 3:30 pm. I then asked if we waited would that mean we would be taken sooner. She then said no, 3:30pm. I wouldn't mind coming back if she was apologetic but whole time we were discussing the double booking problem she never admitted fault or apologized. After dealing with an attitude the last thing I would want to do would be to allow her give me a massage. I will never go back and would never suggest that anyone visit this place. read more

I purchased a groupon which clearly stated "one 60 minute Swedish massage and one facial" for $56. Everything was done in 50min. She didn't even mention it to me until I asked why we were done so quickly. Literally such a rip off, I would have never purchased the groupon if I had known. There's deals on there for $35 for a 50min massage that are way better quality. Pretty much paid an extra $21 for her to put a hot towel on my face and use a knock off Clarisonic with a scrub. I would have done a better job myself. The massage was very average and the location wasn't the nicest and was noisy. Overall, wouldn't recommend. read more

Totally Unprofessional! Horrible Customer Service! I booked an appointment and had to reschedule. However, no one would return my calls or texts. When I finally did reach someone, I was given a new appointment but was told on that day they never had a record of me being scheduled for the first appointment or being rescheduled. In addition, I go to Groupon to cancel, and the merchant already marked my voucher as redeemed on the day of the original appointment. Now, I am hoping that they don't lie to Groupon that I received service. But, I have proof that around the time I should have been at Time Out Spa, I was able to get a walk-in massage at UltraBeauty Day Spa, which was wonderful. I didn't even buy the groupon. Called them several times (7x to be exact) to make an appointment and this one lady finally called back. I left it in the voicemail that I had called about 10 times (I exaggerated 3 more calls mind you) and she told me she had went through the calls and couldn't find the 10 x I had called the business. I had said it went to voicemail and she said that's because we are providing services to other customers. She was very rude. Her primary concern was that I had said 10x. She seemed argumentative and I had told her well thanks for calling and she said ok and hung up. Will never recommend this business to anyone nor will ever go there until I get an apology. read more

Purchased a Groupon for a 60 minute massage and facial, when i called to schedule an appt i was rudely told that there was no such thing. I read the receptionist my Groupon and she said no it was 60 mins for both. Not only was the Groupon unclear, but the receptionist was rude with a terrible attitude . I hung up and immediately cancelled my Groupon, had the receptionist been nicer and more inviting I would have given the place a try despite the Groupon being incorrect. read more

My daughter (17) and I went on a Friday around 5 and had a wonderful experience with Irma and Heidi. We each had a Swedish Massage using groupon. They were very pleasant and professional and the parking lot has plenty of room for parking. We will be back for sure. read more

Made an appointment here. Showed up 10 minutes early to find out their doors were closed. I tried calling 5 minutes after my appointment time, they never picked up and their voice mail was full. I texted them and later got a text back saying they called everyone to reschedule the appointments on that day. Well, they never called me or left a voice message for me. I wasted my time and also my wife's time driving 40 minutes to get here. Don't waste your time, this place is not worth the trouble. read more

Went yesterday with a friend for 60 minute massage and facial Both of us used a groupon. Experience was terrific. Had a mother and daughter team of therapists, Irma and Heidi. Once we were in the room and ready, we never had to leave. Facial was done in the same room, right after the massage. The place is not the fanciest, but I'd rather spend my money on the service, as opposed to super fancy surroundings. Am definitely going back. read more
