Once I connected with Proprietor Paul Tsiorba at Willamette Valley Tours, I felt that I had found a real partner in planning. He was responsive, insightful, and so easy to work with. Before even leaving home, we felt we were in good hands. And when our vacation was over, we knew we had made the right choice. Our trip to WV, OR was unforgettably fun and completely relaxing all at the same time. Paul bills himself as "Director of Awesome Experiences" and you might think that is hyperbole...until you book and tour with him! Thank you Paul, and Lova, for taking us all of the places we were sure to enjoy, for knowing the answers to every question, for respecting our time and our money, and for your genuine hospitality. You two are real ones!

We had a great experience with him on our tour. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating. Paul had a great line up of which wineries to take us to, and also had a great recommendation of where to pick up lunch and even pre-ordered for us. It was definitely a great experience and made our trip better. Thank you Paul!

Dear greatest Hamacher, what a wonderful & delightful time I had at your facility lol!…read more I visited this winery over a month ago and I've still managed to talk about it at least 2X a week since. This was my first time at a vineyard and what a FANTASTIC time it was. The sommelier there was beyond amazing (I didn't catch his name silly me), the customer service was top tier and the property is beautiful! The sommelier was extremely attentive, exceedingly knowledgeable, eager to teach and I haven't been so pleased with a service before in my entire life. They allowed us to lounge around in between our wine tasting to walk the property, take pictures (both indoors and outdoors), even introduced me to some new snacks I hadn't tried (miso/caramel rice crispy I am indeed thinking of you) Man, where do I even begin. We decided to end our Oregon trip with this winery, that we actually found the previous day. We took an uber which was fairly cheap from downtown Portland and although the trek into the property was a bit sketchy, where else was I expecting a vineyard to be located lol. Upon arrival we were greeted and chose our seats. There were two types of wine tastings on the menu. One was of their seasonal wines and the other was one they would curate towards your liking in terms of what your enjoyed, we're looking to try, or what you were open to. And would you guess? We did BOTH options haha During this wine tasting, I have found my FAVORITE wine this far, which was actually ironic because they released the wine for the first time JUST the day prior, talk about perfect timing ehh. I have been pushing off ordering the wine, but will soon! The one I fell in love with is the Pinot Blanc by LERZI- it's a young wine, but the flavor is bold, fresh and sweet. It was honestly amazing and is the only wine I could care to even have in my collection lol The sommelier- what an awesome guy with amazing social skills! Took the time to explain wine history to us, explained the concept behind each wine we tried (that's 9 different wines we tried in total people), even how certain wines came about, how each were made and the history of certain wine regions and how the grapes there are produced. There was a reservation for the "vault" I'll call it, but it's just a separate tasting room. He told me there was a group coming and still let me go and run to take some pictures before they arrived. Which was perfect, because it is absolutely stunning! (I am not sure how many pictures I will be uploading for this place, but know that it is many haha). You know how first experiences mean a lot and are just a well held memory? I had such a wonderful time at this vineyard I am not sure how others will compare. Every single aspect tasted, experienced and saw here was absolutely amazing. Although we spent time here before heading to the airport, this experience def made the trip. Mostly, how welcoming everyone was! That is always something that sticks to ya! We visited mid-afternoon on a Monday and though there were people in and out, we felt like we had the place to ourselves lol! It was cozy, peaceful and quiet, even when others were there. It was very comfortable and felt like I could literally stay there all day. Being able to walk around the property while drinking wine, going to get your other glass and continue taking pictures was great. There was this essence of trust for us to be able to walk around and explore. That felt lighthearted and ofc added to the experience as well I look forward to visiting this winery again and it def made Oregon a place for me that I would love to double back on. I'll stop here, this review was long enough. I enjoyed myself thoroughly- and that surprised me the most.

The gentlemen we had were friendly and took care of all of our luggage. The company has great communication. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:45am but at around 9pm the night before I started getting nervous that we should leave a few minutes earlier, so I sent them an email asking if we could leave at 4:30am instead, really not expecting anyone to respond in time. They actually emailed me back within 10 minutes and confirmed the earlier pick-up time. Then, our return flight landed at PDX (an unheard of!) 40 minutes early. As soon as we touched down I texted the number to see if there would be any way someone could come pick us up for 40 minutes earlier than planned, again not necessarily expecting a response - especially since it was close to midnight. However, they texted me back instantly that my driver would be in touch with me soon, and sure enough our driver texted me within a few minutes. By the time we grabbed our suitcases off of the conveyor and walked a few minutes to the curb, our driver was already there and waiting despite us being 40 minutes early - and, again, it was close to midnight on a Wednesday. We are customers for life!

Everything we own packed was into seven suitcases, and so we needed help to get from the airport to our hotel in Salem. The choice was an Uber, which would not have worked for our situation, or a luxury car service. Hewar was wonderful from when I first called him to arrange our trip. He was attentive and patient, even when I called him multiple times with questions. The manager, Rasheem, met us at baggage claim. Our driver, Zhieco, was professional and friendly. He helped us get our (very heavy) luggage into the hotel. On the other hand, the company I called first did not give me a chance to explain why we needed help at baggage claim. As soon as he heard that, he immediately said he couldn't help me. He threatened to post my phone number online when I wrote him a one-star review. I was shocked. I would've taken it down, regardless, because I don't post bad reviews. So, I was especially glad to talk with Hewar on my second phone call. I highly recommend Elite. If I ever need a service like this again, I will for sure call Hewar.

I rented the party bus for my…read morewife's 50th birthday and Carlos (mentioned by other reviewers) was the contact for my event. We had a pretty tight schedule and Carlos fell down again and again. First he was 30 minutes late for the pickup because he had another wine tour just before our trip and frankly did not plan his logistics well going from Newberg to Vancouver, WA Attitude goes a long way in these situations, and it was more about him than us..... #2 - we stopped to pick up another group and on the way to our first venue he ran out of GAS....yes....GAS. He claimed the fuel gauge didn't work and then got on the phone to his wife to potentially come and bring gas to him from Clackamas during rush hour traffic (no way that takes less than 45 mins to an hour in rush hour traffic, which it was) We were stranded on the highway in the median between the off ramp and I-5. Two of my guest volunteered to walk a 1/2 mile up the exit to a gas station and purchase gas...(Carlos did not) We gassed up and then went to the gas station to fill up. Now we have over an hour of delayed time, inconvenience, and frankly not a great experience for my guests. Again, attitude, apologies would have gone a long way, but it was more about Carlos and his day then our event. To end the story quickly, we sent Carlos on his way after 5 hours ( we had arranged for 4-5) and we took Ubers home. The next morning, I messaged Carlos to see what he was going to do to compensate us for the comedy of errors. He told me he did not charge me the mandatory tip ($100) or the optional tip $100 again and had given me a complimentary hour (which was the hour that he was late and the time we spent sitting on the side of the road) What would I be tipping for?. He had the audacity to tell me I was "making out" on the credit, and proceeded to charge my credit card for the full 4 hours again with very little or no apology. I suggested to him that that was not enough for the issues and that was not a way to run a business, he again told me essentially he had done enough. Had he offered a credit toward a future ride with his services, or been more apologetic to my guests and my wife we may have had a different outcome and this would have been a different review. He deserves the negative reviews, and I would avoid the company and the driver and go with other services. I hope that he and his business can learn from this, and understand what long term relationships can do to build a business, and how the immediate revenue means little when they don't have a long term view.
