I was originally planning not to have a videographer at all (and considering asking a family member or friend with some video production experience to record our wedding), so I had a lot of questions while comparing different options. Myke took the time to answer every one of them and immediately put my mind at ease. From our first conversation, it was clear that he genuinely cared about his couples and their experience. What really set Myke apart was his personality and professionalism. Anyone can point a camera at an event, and any experienced professional should be able to produce a quality video, but Myke brought an extra level of comfort and ease to the day. My husband and I are both uncomfortable in front of cameras and generally dislike having our photos taken. We knew we wanted to document the day, but we were worried about feeling awkward or overly staged. Myke made the entire experience feel natural and effortless. After the wedding, I quickly realized how grateful I was that we had invested in videography. The day goes by so fast, and I was so focused on holding back tears and keeping myself composed that I couldn't remember every word from the ceremony and speeches. Being able to relive those moments has been priceless. We originally opted for just the highlights video, but shortly after the wedding, I reached out to Myke about upgrading to the full package. She was a true professional right from the start, introducing herself and calling us by name the moment you arrive at her quaint but classy studio. From the start, she handled the parents, laying down the expectations and the process of getting some keepsake photos of our baby girl and asking us for any desires or input for the shoot. We love our final product! Her naturalistic style is gorgeous! We're happy it wasn't hoaky like some other photographer's albums we've seen... She focuses on the quirks and beauty of your little bundle-o-joy! For those of you who haven't experienced infant photography, it requires some WORK! Kelly handled our baby with amazing comfort and care, helping get her cozy for the shoot. She maintained that gentle touch throughout the shoot, reposing her and re-shooshing her as needed.
