Moved down to Morgan Hill from San Francisco and was looking for a good barber shop and found Timeless Barbers through Yelp. Never going to another place again. Vick runs the shop and is always in a great mood and welcoming to new customers that come in. He's always telling great stories and making the whole place laugh. Not to mention he feels like a local celebrity with a long history of barber competitions and training, all of which can be evidenced through his clean cuts. Unless you know EXZACTLY how you want your haircut, i.e..what number clipper, how much in measurement you want your hair cut, you should probably try somewhere else. No razor to the back or side, no tonic, no offer of hair product. I'm one of those guys that knows what I want in my head, but doesn't remember what clipper number etc...I'm hoping the barber can help me out....my cut was uneven and does not blend in well as it usually does. I leave 3 stars even though my sons cut is 1 star because I'm told now by friends I should take my son to a stylist not a barber. my son had pretty long hair and wanted a trim. he left looking like Loyd Christmas on dumb and dumber. I would have appreciated being told long hair wasn't his expertise. I didn't say anything in person because I didn't want my son to be embarrassed about his hair but I will need to go pay elsewhere to get it fixed after paying $40 for this. Ok, I didn't get my hair cut so I can't comment on the service, why am I leaving a review? Because not one person, except myself, was wearing a mask when I went in for my appointment. There were 2 barbers and 3 customers from what I could see. Covid-19 is serious whether you're young or older, please wear a mask. I realize it may not be practical for the entire haircut (customer could hold the mask so the straps don't get in the way), but the barber should wear a mask the entire time. Being indoors with 5 other people who aren't wearing masks is a big risk given the rate of spread in santa clara county. No haircut since January, so I was really hoping to lose the crazy hairdo from hell, being honest about my experience and concerns. read more

I am SO disappointed and frustrated about this place. I was at this place on a Saturday morning at 9am to be the first one to get a haircut. It was NOT OPEN while it's showing me online that it opens at 9am on Saturday's. So left and came back at 10 am to be the first one, same thing, it was NOT open. Called the number I found online for the business and no body picked the call and not even then voicemail was setup for it. Surprisingly, there were 6 other customers like me who were there at 9am and waited until 10 am and there was NO VICKY in sight to open up the business. This was my first trip at Timeless Barber and I felt that I was given to the new guy who seemed like he did want to be there or gave a shit about his customers. I'm a middle aged man who gets his haircut by only barbers and this guy was no barber. Sure this place offers a cool vibe with Husky tool chests for their tools of the trade, wall art, and checkered flooring but the shop was covered in dust and no one gave a shit about me. The worst part was sitting in the chair will the guy got me ready and to my surprise he paused to answer a personal call. This guy took the time to put in his white Apple Bluetooth ear buds and ignored me the entire time. The guy was given my instructions, #4 on the sides and a trim on top. First time to Timeless Barbers. I was recommended to this place by another hairstylist in town. I knew instantly as soon as I walked in that this place was "legit". A modern take on the traditional barber shop. Nice space, checkerboard floor, walls painted in SJ Sharks colors - teal & black and modern barber chairs with old-school charm. Sports and retro barber tins and frames photos decorate the walls. ESPN was on the flat screen TV. Shop-owner Vick and Crew, probably all in their 20s, wore street clothes. Called to make appointment. Told me to come in and they would "Take care of me". Waited a few minutes. Gave me time to watch the guys work. They all seemed to work very clean and were professional and friendly. They were light on the chatter because the guys seemed to be focused on their work. Lots of clippers being used. A couple a straight-razor shaves being crafted as well. Russ took care of me. I had just gotten a haircut but it needed it to be finessed for the more modern, "hipster"-style I wanted. Russ did just that - no problem. Used all the traditional Barber touches that guys appreciate (cloth band around the neck to protect the hair from going through the cape, soft brush to remove the hair, finishing spray for moisturizing and to make you smell good, etc.) Definitely would recommend that any guy, young or old, to try then out. Great haircut here! I went In after work to get my hair cut (obviously) I had some time to kill, and I'm not familiar with Morgan Hill what so ever. I heard about this place word if mouth, and it was her casual, and clean. It makes master cuts look like a dump. The staff was laid back but professional, and made you feel welcome. If you wanted to talk with them it was cool, if you wanted to just sit quietly, it was fine, far from awkward. At the end of my haircut I didn't realize it was cash only, the Barber told me there was an ATM across the street very calm and cool, didn't ask for any collateral.
