I had the Kaboom Burger with cheddar cheese and crispy onion straws, seasoned with a great spicy kick--absolutely delicious. They also have a great drink selection whether you're in the mood for craft beer, cocktails, or soda. The seating is comfortable, and the outdoor patio is a great touch with plenty of extra space.

Everything seems to be up at least 10% all over, so I can't fault them for it. I just wish income had gone up that much in a year. Again not their control. But I just can't go eating at restaurants as much. The price of 6.75 for a dog fish beer was imo kinda high and it was rather flat. The coleslaw was honestly so bad and bitter rancid tasting I had to spit it out. Honestly, not a fan of Cole slaw but this is the first I've had to 100% reject eating. The pickle I got that someone raved about, didn't look great when I turned it over The fries honestly could have been cooked a little more but were pretty good. The best part of the meal was the burger though so that sorta saved the whole experience. I sat on the patio and got good service. I appreciated that the to-go wasn't styrofoam. I had to take 1/2 the burger home. There is a 3% surcharge for using credit cards, so I was glad I brought cash, as I'm tired of getting charged for charging. Ha. Overall not bad, but could use some attention to detail.

The fried cheese curds were big hit, and the bacon cheeseburger was of great quality and size for the money. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely return for another great lunch.

But I was pleasantly surprised by the food too. I got the cheeseburger sliders which were really good. Moist, tasty, and the perfect size for a slider. I ordered fries on the side and wasn't expecting the portion size. They gave an entire basket of fries that easily could have fed the party of four adults I was there with. Crispy, flavorful, loved them. The cheese curds were also great, paired with a sauce recommended by the bartender. I wish I could remember what it was, definitely some type of sweet/salty almost teriyaki sauce. So, so good. I don't drink alcohol much so I can't comment on the drinks but everyone we were there with seemed to enjoy them. So much so, they ordered several. Great vibes here. They had the front window open for a beautiful sixty degree day. Music was on. Everyone there both staff and other customers were all really nice and we had a great time. Turns out our bartender was the owner of the bar and he was just fantastic. Attentive but not overly so. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a great place for a drink and a bite to eat.

They allowed complete customization. The appetizers were perfect for happy hour before dinner which by choice looked over the bar with TV's during the baseball game. Dinner was set up perfectly with salad, great bread, specifically chosen wine on the tables. Then for food pastas, meat choices of chicken, sausages and meatballs with full desert. They even went to the extra effort of making multiple special meals for our gluten free friends. The staff, waitresses,,bartenders were friendly and courteous. Ownership was present to oversee and verify everything was going great. Between the high tier food, drinks, special service the entire cost was almost 1/2 of similar pricing from some of the banquet halls. Do not overlook this option! Making my daughter this happy can be challenging. Thankyou Vince and all your great staff for a special night! Jerry E

We sat at the bar and service was a little on the slower side, but nothing that took away from the night. I had the beef sandwich, and my wife went with the burger...both were really good. They also have a Thursday burger special for $10, which is a great deal and definitely worth checking out. The draft beer is always cold, and they've got a strong case for one of the best sports bar setups in McHenry County....plenty of TVs and a great place to catch a game. Overall, it's a dependable go-to spot whether you're meeting up with a big group, hanging out with friends, or just can't decide where to go for dinner. A nice, easy choice with something for everyone.

And it was... ... ... The two eff faces who worked there but I mean did they or were they just blocking the entrance as they gossiped? Hmm, I don't know. I actively dislike both of them now. Never met them, don't care, rude see you next Tuesdays. So then there is a counter there with just bags and one would THINK at least one of those two pieces of shhhhhhet would have bothered to care. They did not. In fact, they just kept getting in the way. I wanted to punch but that is not what civilized people do. The bartendress clearly saw this nonsense and did her best to not make someone like myself to write this scathing review. Great person, do no hate on her. She clearly is the only reason this place has a multiple different name just to dodge past terrible reviews. No one else seems to give a flying eff. Now on the food: The stuffed cabbage was really great. I'd say try it but this place is so obnoxious I feel like I can't recommend. But, I mean it was pretty on point. The mashed potatoes that came with it... I have no words except that KFC rehydrated bs is BETTER. Do you, but I would say there are FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR better places in the Algonquin/LITH area to spend your money.
