Went here and waited awhile to get our wings and they brought out all boneless. We ordered half traditional. Did not offer any discount since we had to wait another 20mins for the right wings to come out so frustrating!! Our kids ate the boneless and were ready to go home and we were still waiting on our traditional wings!! The wings are average. The service isn't great and next time you mess up an order which I understand it happens maybe pack up the mistake and let us take home all of the wings that were sitting at our table for a few mins instead of grabbing them and acting like we ordered wrong. At first we actually felt bad telling the waiter. The waiter did bring over a bone bowl for the traditional wings so obviously he knew we ordered traditional wings. Just anything would have been a nice gesture to gain us back as customers!! For a Saturday night I would have thought this place would have been busier. We originally tried another restaurant down the road (on 12 that sometimes has live music) but we couldn't find a parking spot. So, we landed at WINGS, ETC. GRILL & PUB. Parking spots available & lots of places to sit - even at the bar! The bartender, Brianna, was very attentive. She immediately took our drink order, got us dinner menus, and took our order. We hadn't been here in a while so we each ordered something else than our usual! The Buffalo Chicken tacos were very good! I got it with blue cheese and it was tasty! Enough to take one of the three tacos home for lunch tomorrow! We also had the loaded cowboy (hamburger with bbq & onion rings) which was very good. This place has drink and food specials on different nights. I took pictures so check that out. This place has several tv's at the bar so rather than listen to a mediocre singer at the other place, we got to see a hockey game and basketball game. Why a 4 star instead of 5? Great wings, good size, always crispy. I love the hot honey garlic sauce, as well as the tweener sauce. Only thing I would say is lights over the tables and bars are buckets and they get in way of the TVs. A couple times I've been there they turn the TVs off while you're watching sports if it's anywhere near closing. They closed at 11 and by 1015 they were turning TVs off that people were clearly watching. Always check your bill as we were over charged for things we didn't order. read more

I'm a loyal wings fan of another establishment. Unfortunately a location is not near Woodstock. My sister who lives in Indiana, and my coworker both suggested Wings Etc. On Saturday, I decided to pick up some of their wings after work. I was disappointed. I had the cha cha sweet chili and the Asian flavored wings. I ordered boneless because I call them adult chicken nuggets. They were just okay. The cha cha sweet chili sauce was the best. The Asian sauce fell flat on flavor. The best experience I had was with the pretzel bites. They were super tasty and I ordered them with the beer cheese. I was shocked that they were so small for what I paid for them. I expected the to-go container to be completely filled. It was not, and they had been freely rolling around in a container that was obviously too large for the order. All in all, I might go back should I get hungry again. Perhaps their sauces are better for the bone-in wings. One of their competitors is nearby, so I'll probably choose them before I come here again. Unless I get a craving for the pretzel bites. My son and I are huge fans of wings, and have been very loyal customers of Wings and Rings in Crystal Lake. Their quality has gone down considerably lately,so we have been looking for a new wing joint. We ordered the cheese curds and onion rings as appetizers, curds were very good and the onion rings were good and crispy. My son ordered a chicken sandwich and he thought it was really good. I ordered traditional Wings with the TNT sauce. The Wings were big, well cooked and crispy, but way way to much sauce. I know many people enjoy their Wings smothered in sauce, but I personally prefer Wings tossed in sauce not submerged. Next time I will request the chef to go easy on the sauce. read more

I ordered from wings etc via DoorDash last week and ordered the chicken Cesar salad , the portion size was huge. I placed an order today and this was the portion size seen below in the picture. I paid 10.99 for a full size salad and came home with what looks like a side salad for a small child. Since this was not the first time I ordered this meal I double checked my receipts to make sure that I ordered the correct item. It seems that you should unpack the food before you drive off to make sure your portion size is correct. I am really disappointed that after a $11 salad I am still starving. It is a huge size inconsistency. With dining being closed it is hard to return an order when you drive to pick it up. read more

We decided to make a stop here based on a fellow Yelpers raving review and some correspondence. I brought the entire family here during the week at an off time. It was just past the normal lunch hour, so the place wasn't busy at all. In fact I think we were the only ones not sitting at the bar. So the service was pretty good. The waitress was attentive and nice. Now I love hot wings. I don't care where you go; I love a good hot wing. Walking into a restaurant named Wings Etc. I came in with some very high expectations. Being new to the place we wanted to try their various sauces and we agreed on five different ones. Hot, Me-So-Spicy, Spicy Hot Honey, Sweet Chili "Cha-Cha" and Gar-Licky-Parm. What was funny is that it was my 10 year old son that ordered the Hot. Even after the waitress, my wife and even I warned him that he may want to sample it first because not all wing places "Hot" are the same. Needless to say, my son who takes more after me than his mother when it comes to Spicy food thought it was just a tad too warm for him. I thought they had a good heat, not too bad. The family favorite was the Sweet Chili "Cha-Cha". No one at the table liked the Spicy Hot Honey at all. The rest of them were okay, not great, but definitely not bad. I was just hoping for a better flavor from the sauces we choose. I'm not trying to compare it to other places I've been to, but some of the sauces seemed to pale in comparison to similar products at other chain wing restaurants. Tried this with two of my boys for the first time. The inside is pretty cool and I like the atmosphere. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap which was pretty good. However, it didn't have a lot inside the wrap. It was a lot of tortilla. It was good tasting though. Tots were really good and I had them with the beer cheese. My son ordered nachos and they had a very odd taste to them. He said something to me and I brushed it off until I tasted it. I can pinpoint exactly what the odd taste was but something was off. The waitress however took care of him and got him a burger instead. My other son got the kids wings and loved them. The tots seemed to be a family favorite for us! I always order some of their wings, with a couple of their unique sauces. They have a huuuuge menu. You can order a Homewrecker hot dog, BBQ pulled pork sandwich, buffalo Chicken wrap and a ton of other options. This is definitely hidden in a strip mall and very close to Bdubs, so it doesn't get the attention it deserves. I ordered all drums, half bbq and half medium with side of ranch. The drums were overcooked, not moist or juicy. It was dry at some spots it was like a chicken jerky. Very Crispy. They do not toss the wings in the sauce, they poured it on the wing before serving it. Jumbo sized, I disagree it being jumbo. It was a regular sized just like BWW and Wing Stops. The sauce thickness were opposite of each other. Medium flavor sauce was watery and kind of flat, not as much kick I would expect in a regular medium buffalo sauce whilst the BBQ sauce was thick, nothing extraordinary about it whatsoever. Ranch was alright. I prefer BWWs ranch over this places ranch. Onion Rings was good. I liked the way it was beer battered and cut. Good balance to it. Just had dinner here last night, and the first time in years! Overall, I would say it was just an alright place but at the same time that's no reason to not go back... This is a small bar/restaurant on Northwest Highway with good service. On a Wednesday night, they weren't very busy so service may vary but we had a good experience. The food was just alright. But if I had to guess they have better appetizers than they do entrees but it was not awful either. My friend had the loaded chili. I ordered the big chicken salad without olives (basically a Cobb salad) with Bleu Cheese dressing. It was a good salad but not the best salad ever, either. Great place! I've driven by here dozens of times and never tried their wings until last night. They are fantastic! Huge, juicy, tender wings. I had their medium heat buffalo sauce and tried both boneless and regular. These are some of the best wings I've ever had. Huge schooners of ice cold beer to wash down the wings too. I'm a fan and will be back! They happened to be running a 39 cent wing special and 3.95 schooner of beer special this week. read more

Very disappointed with Wings Etc. Our family has been going here since they opened in Crystal Lake. I have been ordering wings on Monday nights and the last two times I've ordered they informed me they're charging me extra for the second ranch, and extra for celery and now they charge me extra $ even though I order it plain. They have the audacity to tell me it's for the seasoning and I keep explaining I'm not adding seasoning they said you still need to get charged for it! What!?! Wings were good, decent size, fries were good, my only gripe was they give you 2 pieces of celery which I thought was a bit on the cheap side. Took the afternoon off work to do some daddy daughter bonding with my three girls. Rachel was an amazing host, my 7 year olds first comment was "she's really nice". She was right, the staff is attentive, knowledgeable and professional. The sports theme is super fun, making it a perfect daytime stop for the family. Not sure I'd bring the kids on a Friday or Saturday night since it is a bar. The food was great! Hot, tasty and fresh. My only complain was that the wings were swimming in its sauce. Personally I prefer that they be tossed and plated vs dunked in sauce. I think that is an easy fix by requesting my preference up front so I'm not going to ding them on it. Take into account their specials and I think we found a new place to frequent often.
