The restaurant isn't large, but it is clean, comfortable, and inviting. The staff was busy, one person was rolling out dough, another was adding toppings, and we watched a gentleman slide an extra-large pizza into the oven, but everyone still had a smile on their face and made us feel at home. We ordered the two-slice-and-a-drink special and upgraded the soda to a cold Coors Light from the tap. The beer was refreshing, and the pizza was flavorful without being overly greasy. The staff was patient with me my first time here, as I tried to figure out exactly what I wanted to order. They offer pizza by the slice, and you can see which are available as soon as you walk in. I tried the Margherita and Spicy Pig slices, along with a 3 piece garlic knots. Both slices were delicious and still nice and warm when I got them back to my hotel. The location is a little small. I've never really been a fan of NY style pizza, but that all changed this weekend when we stopped in for this pizza. I was blown away on how flavorful the sauce was, how fresh the ingredients were, and the crust... Dammmm!!!!! That crust was so good. It was light, and when you got to the end it was crispy. Each slice was such a great size and the toppings come perfectly distributed. We ordered a pepperoni, a supreme, and 1 slice of Margarita (which was my favorite.). When we come back to Temecula, this will be our go to now. The staff are also so amazing. They're all so friendly and had some good tunes playing. Ordered 18" Margherita pizza before with no issues. Fresh, hot, tasty. This last time I ordered it for pick up and the crust was hard and you could tell it was reheated and had been sitting for quite some time. it was sitting on top of the oven when I arrived, but I didn't think to open the box to look at it. Why is it I never knew Times Square existed until just a few days ago? I was tasked to pick up bagels for a small group of us. Times Square came up as being the closest place to me and with high ratings. I walked in, picked from their display case and my task of bagel picker upper was completed. Wow, NYC got transformed to a Pacific City. Walk in and see the fresh pie, thin crust of course. Never mind the ambiance it doesn't matter when it comes to taste. I can't tell you which one to get. But I will guarantee one thing. You will buy another slice. They do the XL diameter and serve it by the slice. It crust is re- toasted at high temp for a minute. Been here many times, pizza and bagels are fine. Added a cookie to my bagels cause why not, but checked what one was in bag in aluminum foil because I had thought there were two types while still at the register, but turns out it was burnt or regular. I asked her if I could switch it out and she said no cause I touched it (aluminum foil) but is right since you can't take food in. Solution if I wanted a non-burnt cookie was to purchase another one which I did. Picture attached. You can tell what a burnt cookie is. I thought it was double chocolate or something. Basic food service and customer service if someone spends over $25 don't pass something burnt off and then say basically, "you touched no take backs". We went yesterday to try Temeculas Best Pizza.... Absolutely terrible is an understatement. Nothing wrong with the employees, the pizza itself had to be the most tasteless thing I've eaten in years. I had to look up if this was the only pizza place that entered this competition because that's what it seems like. If this recieved first place I can't imagine the other places in the area. Again nothing wrong with the cleanliness or employees that was all fine, the pizza itself is just definitely worth not even looking in this direction when you're hungry.
