Was in summit n it was lunch time. Was looking for a place and found times thai streatery w great reviews n thought I'd try it. In the heart of summit n the municipal parking was right across. Lovely ambience n well decorated. Friendly welcoming staff. I ordered the lunch special - drunken noodles w shrimp. Came w soup or salad n spring roll. Had the salad which was ok. The drunken noodles was very good n flavorful. Had generous amount of shrimp. Thank you for a great lunch. Will be back again when in the area next.

The Thai tea here is really good -- not too sweet, and it's made with authentic tea (not the orange powder kind). The pad see ew is so flavorful and delicious. On top of that, the waiters are super friendly and welcoming! And to top it all off, they even gave us a free scoop of homemade Thai tea ice cream at the end.

Yum! I loved the $12 lunch special options, I chose the basil fried rice with pork and it was so delicious and flavorful. I also love the mango sticky rice here as well.

4.5 stars for this new Thai restaurant in summit! Cute and cozy vibes, times Thai streatery was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and good came out quickly. All the food was exceptionally fresh!! For appetizers, I really enjoyed the chicken satay but my favorite were the chive dumplings. They were so unique, and vegetarian and gluten free. I got beef drunken noodles for dinner which was yummy, but they forgot to add spice to mine. Seems like an honest mistake - as the other drunken noodle dishes at the table were spicy. The owner came around to introduce himself and chat with the table. Overall a good experience here!

Stopped in on a Sunday night, and the place was fairly busy. The service was amazing, and the food was excellent--it truly reminded me of Bangkok. The staff are so pleasant and friendly. My favorite was the papaya salad, aka Som Tum--a must-try! It was refreshing with the perfect texture, a great way to start the meal. I also loved the coconut ice cream, especially from SkyIce in Brooklyn, New York. A must-try if you're in the area! The place has such a cozy, homie vibe--you'll leave with a full tummy and a warm heart.

Went on Mother's Day and they were still able to accommodate us with an outside table even without a reservation. All the food I had here was very reminiscent of food I had when I travel to Bangkok. The somtum papaya salad was very tasty and refreshing! The pad kraw pow (minced pork over rice) was also so delicious and made me want to go back to Thailand. Very authentic. Also the owner was so kind and chatted with us. Would go again if in the mood for authentic Thai street food.

Best service- I walked in on Saturday evening with no reservation and they were so accommodating. I waited a little but they really did their best to get me seated asap. My drink came literally as I ordered, the girl behind the bar heard and brought it over. The food was 10/10 and also arrived so quickly. Medium spicy is spicy but manageable. I also tried the half scoop ice creams - pandan and black sesame. Worth getting the 1/2 scoop to try multiple flavors. It was still a regular sized scoop. Will def me back and would recommend to anyone ! The service was superior and coupled with great food? The high stars speaks for itself

I will be honest. I wanted to love Times Thai Streatery. Streatery. Like a Street you eat on. I just got that. Walk past it every day on my way to work. Never got that joke. But in my defense , the sign in the side only says Thai Times. Or Times Thai. Anyways to cut to the chase the food is good. I have gotten take out twice. The first time was when they first opened. My wife and I got a bunch of appetizers and some soup. I thought everything was good. My wife thought they seemed similar. You remember my wife, the picky vegetarian? We had ordered a bunch of similar vegetarian appetizers and to no one's surprise, well maybe hers, they were pretty similar. No stand outs though. A chive pancake? Little fried triangles. I seem to remember enjoying that. I did not leave a review. They had just opened and I wanted to eat a meal before leaving a review. There is another very, very good Thai restaurant in Summit. So I had not been back. I decided to get a lunch special. Drunken noodles which comes with a spring roll. I also ordered soup. The coconut based one. I apologize. There are only 2 on the lunch menu. Even if you don't google you still have a good shot The place is really cute. A lot of time and effort to decorate it. If you went to Jenni's the place that used to be there it looked like an episode of Hoarders. Well that is an exaggeration. I took a bunch of pictures. You'll see the inside. I went home. Spring roll was tiny. Half the size I expected. Very good. Crispy. Maybe a little cold? Drunken noodles were good. Good portion. Spicy. On the edge of too spicy for me. I ordered Regular spice level. There was a mild and a medium. Is medium less than regular? There was Thai Spicy. That is out of the question. But I'm pretty sure hot was an option. Where does regular fit? I liked the soup. Probably my favorite part of the meal. Not included. Still good. The staff is so nice. Honestly. They seem like they can't wait to help you. Delightful people. Oh. I thought they would specialize in Thai street food. But it's just standard Thai dishes. Maybe the Streatery name refers to the fact it is on a street? I will ask when I ask about regular versus medium Spicy.

The restaurant had only a few people when we walked in. Two of us arrived first and we were seated immediately while waiting for the third person, who came about 5 minutes later. I mention this detail because a lot of restaurants are strict about not seating you until the entire party arrives (I appreciate Nakorn for not sweating the small stuff). It was my second time and their first time (per my suggestion). We're all foodies so I was confident they'd enjoy! And I was right :) For starters, we shared a curry puff appetizer (3 pieces). Small size, BIG flavor!! Especially paired with the pickled sauce. Chef's kiss! For our main dishes - I had the Chicken Pad See Ew and they tried the Mixed Seafood Pad See Ew (shrimp, scallops, and mussels). Everything was delicious!!! Had it not been for the intriguing conversation around the table, we easily would not have any leftovers to take home. It is a BYOB establishment, so we brough Sake and enjoyed it in the wine glasses provided by Nakorn. I love downtown Summit and all of its foodie glory, but if you've ever been, you know what parking is like. Free after 6pm Monday - Saturday and free all day Sunday. There's a small lot directly across the street from Nakorn, which is convenient. Be intentional though, the parking spaces go fast.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of steamed dumplings, so I was a little disappointed at first. However, the flavor was excellent and definitely exceeded my expectations, so I can't complain too much about the mix-up. The real star of the meal was the Yellow Curry Crispy Duck. Absolutely amazing! The duck was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the curry had incredible flavor. I ordered it with spice level 1, which was just right for me and allowed all of the flavors to shine through. My only real complaint is the portioning of the rice. While the half crispy duck portion was quite generous, the amount of rice provided didn't seem to match the amount of meat. For the price I paid, I feel like the rice portion should automatically be adjusted to complement the entrée. Having to request extra rice just doesn't make much sense when there's plenty of duck left over. I'm usually not picky about things like this, but considering the cost of the meal, I expected a little better balance. Other than that, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is a small hole-in-the-wall spot with a cozy, authentic feel. It's the kind of place that locals seem to know and enjoy. I actually discovered it while heading to a Mexican restaurant with some coworkers and decided to give it a try because I'm a big fan of Thai food. Overall, I'm glad I did. The food quality was excellent, the flavors felt authentic, and the crispy duck alone is worth coming back for. Despite a couple of minor issues, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. If you enjoy authentic Thai cuisine, you'll likely leave satisfied. Authentic taste and quality ingredients--everyone should give it a try!

Lol. Anyway, I was immediately seated. They waited for me to be done with viewing the menu before trying to harass me like a lot of other restaurants do. The food was fresh and delicious!!! I got the flatbread appetizer and if it wasn't for the fact that I live over 30 minutes away, I would've gotten it again to go so I could eat it at home, but I can only imagine how it must taste so much better hot because it's so flaky. It's the flakiest thing I've ever put in my mouth. I also had the chicken Pad Se-ew along with a Thai iced coffee and I picked up a Thai iced tea to take home because why not! The service was great. I ordered the yellow curry, and it was very bland and runny. I couldn't taste any spices and could barely taste the coconut. There's a backroom that could be used for parties or overflow. Ample parking nearby. The food was just not up to par. Nearly any other Thai restaurant has better food and I'm not judging it against the best ones. While both appetizers were good- Crab Ragoon and Thai Shumai - we both ordered the Pad Thai, my friend with shrimp and I ordered chicken. The main taste was of ketchup and the teh dish had a sort of dark and musky flavor. Now ketchup is used in Asian cooking, but not as the dominant flavor in Pad Thai. And it didn't have that bright flavor you associate with Thai food. In a effort to get a more balanced and less dark flavor, I asked for more limes and peanuts. Nope, didn't really help. While my chicken was appropriately cooked, the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. We both had the Sticky Mango Rice which had little sauce to marry the rice and the mango. If the food was the only issue, it would have been 3 stars. But the service was simply unprofessional. So let me start out with I understand there were only one other couple eating dinner, insofar as we could see. And we arrived at 7:00. The restaurant closes at 9. It was a Tuesday night. As we ate our main course, the waiter repeatedly tried to clear our entree plates. We were still eating. Rather annoying but they continued to try and take our plates though, again, we were still eating. Then they brought desserts and tried to shove them on the table for two when there was no room since our entree were still there! Assuming we'd never see them again, I suggested we put them on the adjacent table. We left a 8.30, while they were closing up. So heres the deal. You want to close up while we're there and still eating, fine. I really don't have an issue. But trying to grab plates while we're eating and doing it repeatedly and insisting on serving dessert when we are still eating our entrees is simply not professional and appropriate. Another star demerit.
