Very clean place. Service was fast but a little too fast .... The bubble tea was just ok. You can tell some bubble tea places make their teas with love and I didn't really feel that here. I felt like I was just drinking milk and the tea barely had any flavor. It was perfectly chilled however which I guess is good.

Great new addition to downtown Cranford. The space is open and inviting, with a number of tables outside. I tried the Black Sugar Bubble tea, it was visually appealing and mostly importantly, pretty good. The tea had the right amount of sweetness and creaminess, while the boba was well made. The service was very prompt with minimal wait time. It's the perfect place to get your bubble tea fix. Edit: just tried the grapefruit bubble tea and it was fantastic. Love the subtle grapefruit flavor and the most delightful little bubbles filled with fruit juice (although the green color was a bit weird).

Review comes from ordering via UberEats. Ordered brown sugar bubble tea. Like other bubble tea places, this place doesn't allow you to choose how much sugar or ice you want. Not going to lie, I was skeptical at the taste of ordering brown sugar and how it looked so watery but I do have to say the taste wasn't bad. If you've had leche flan, I compare the brown sugar they used to the caramel syrup on top before it caramelizes. So good but it is still kinda watery. I say It's a good alternative if my main bubble tea spots are closed.

There bubble tea is a great size and tastes great as well. I went with the coffee bubble tea and it was perfect. The only thing I would say is that they are a bit overpriced. The large was nearly $7.

The drink is on the sweeter side so if you don't have sweet teeth I would definitely suggest tune down the sugar. Also tried their churro and it was . The shop owner is also super friendly! Overall I'm quite satisfied with the small boba shop.

Came in here day of Halloween town parade and the place smelled like sewage. The boba was actually bitter. After attempting a second bite, I had to throw the entire thing away. Didn't ask for a refund since I used their bathroom and the lady didn't look like someone that would have offered a refund d. Something was not right with the place. read more

Great bubble tea spot close to home. Gotta love it! I promised my neices and nephew I'd take them for bubble tea when they visited and found this spot! Ended up being a great local find. Passion fruit green tea with boba was on pt! Kids got the mango fruit tea with popping boba. Nice selection to choose from overall. And they had a great promo deal for gift cards where we ended up getting 2 drinks free! The place isn't massive, it's more pick up and go. But there is minimal indoor seating if you want to hang back for a bit. Plenty of street parking around as well! The town (Cranford, NJ) is super cute! We plan to come back and check out Ani Ramen next door. Won't forget to pick up a bubble tea to go! Note: It was sooo gd I forgot to take pics! Will update upon our next visit :) read more

I think this place being 4 stars is too nice, lady who served us gave attitude and chose my topping for me, she also tipped herself with the change I needed back. As for what the drink tasted like I ordered an original brown sugar boba and had no flavor or tasted what it was supposed to at all then I ordered a lychee slush and didnt live up to standards tasted like water then anything else. read more

The staff here is so friendly and will literally accommodate any need you have whether it's nondairy, caffeine, etc. What makes this place different from other bubble tea locations is that they have a mini food menu with items that would compliment bubble tea like dumplings, shumai, etc. I'll definitely be back! read more

I've been in this place before, it was good staff were friendly, I was walking around the town today and I am currently pregnant. I asked the lady that works there if I could use the restroom, the place was empty and she said NO. That outside is very crowded and that I could not use the restroom because I'm not a costumer. I am never going back to that place EVER! Cranford is such a beautiful town with beautiful people but this lady if I could call it that just denied me even though I've been a costumer of the place before. This is not NYC we can do better! read more

Very nice and cozy place to get some bubble tea! The lady who works there is super nice and friendly, and her energy alone makes this a great spot. Prices are like normal compared to bubble tea spots but the bubble tea here tastes better than average and the number of options and choices is great as well! read more

Was in town and decided to try this place to try my usual bubble tea flavor "taro". It was good however the bubbles had a weird consistency, not the norm. I took off one star because they didn't offer alternatives to dairy milk and I usually have oat or soy milk with my bubble teas. read more

These folks don't offer dairy-free, gluten-free "milk" add-ons. Who drinks bubble tea without "milk"? If they are in the bubble tea business (they are - look at their name), they need to offer what customers want. read more

What a cute spot! Stopped here with my boyfriend and ordered a matcha bubble tea and chocolate bubble tea. I was very happy with the freshness of the boba and set up inside. We ordered ours to go, but there are a couple tables available inside - there are a few food items on the menu too. Will definitely pick up drinks from there again! read more

I am obsessed with this place! The boba is absolutely delicious and the prices are pretty decent. I've seen boba places charge a lot more, and the sizes are worth it because of how big they are. The man who served me today was so nice and I love the vibes in there. The decor is beautiful and it is very serene and peaceful. Quick service. Coconut bubble tea is gross though. I've been on a hunt for the best coconut bubble tea in NJ, and this was one of the worst. The tapioca pearls taste like they were soaking too long or at the bottom of the barrel. Either way, I wouldn't recommend. read more

There tea is everything proper about bubble teA, you can tell it's not just powder and water + good presentation. From the ingredients, to the texture to the taste, this was one of the best drinks I've had in the area, in awhile. read more

Having spent several years in NYC, I am quite picky with bubble tea. That said, "I bubble tea" makes a fantastic tea! Many places put way too much sugar and artificial flavors, but the tiger sugar tea is just right. As far as I could tell, the bubble teas were all iced. Hoping to see some hot options for the fall/winter! Either way, I definitely recommend their tea! read more

This place was amazing! The owners are very polite and welcoming, and the overall environment is great. Most importantly, though, the bubble tea was the best i've ever had! I decided to try the taro bubble tea, not having tried that flavor before, and it was better than I ever expected. 100% worth it! I will definitely be going there again, and I recommend this to anyone in, or near Cranford looking for a treat. read more

It was shaken with such a small amount of ice that my drink was almost lukewarm and the actual drink was a weird herbal medicinal flavor and didn't taste like mango whatsoever. Will not be coming here again.. bubble tea for dessert ended in a big disappointment.

I can imagine the table hibernation occupied by patrons lingering for hours as I would with journaling and poetry separately. The atmosphere is decorated with Japanese animation sketches of characters throughout this traditional brick and mortar store. The drink lid also contain animation sketches. As a Asian American woman, I do not have a iota for taken an interest in Asian animation sketches and never did. However, I have a strong predilection for traditional fictional cartoon characters as Hello Kitty, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, or Paddington Bear. This Edison, NJ Gong Cha contains a free parking lot that is shared among neighboring business of a shopping complex 863 Logan Plaza. There are two large Japanese beckoning cats maneki-neko 招き猫 at the register which are adorable and beautiful. Customer service is prompt and efficient because I was the sole customer at that moment. A fleeting moment is all I need to attain my default drink. The female server/cashier Keshia is efficient and attentive. I did receive a sales receipt. Peach green tea, medium $6.50 I requested Oolong tea, but the cashier inadvertently inputted my order in the register as green tea. However, my sales receipt attained stated "Notes: oolong." The tea actually did taste Oolong as well as the dark coloring which my order is accurate. One medium drink with grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 $.075, regular ice 100%, and sugar 30%. I desired this drink to be cold and no milk which my requests were fulfilled and satisfied. The tea was standard but good quality. I have a predilection for Oolong and green tea - particularly Matcha green tea. The ice, as usual, entirely melted and my drink became room temperature - this time during my long-haul car ride returning to NYC. The grass jelly is average, somewhat served chilled and paucity for minimal quantity but a nice delight. I strongly believe there is a price discrimination for preferential treatment as New Jersey is significantly lowered price than its neighbor state New York. For $6.50 medium drink it is very reasonable price by the economic standards of stagflation 2026 era. If I live within distance from Edison, New Jersey and have driving skills enabling car ownership I would surely make the occasional trek to this Edison, NJ bubble tea business.

The meals came out fresh, tasty, and served hot. As coffee snobs, the coffee was very good. They have a tremendous selection of hot and cold drinks. The service was very good and friendly. The prices were a tad higher than other places but still a worthy addition to downtown Cranford. There is a municipal parking lot across the street and some street parking if you are lucky. I'd say we were successful in that regard, and this is probably one of the top two places I've been now in town, along with Garlic Rose. Even if you didn't have access to the menu, this just LOOKS like an upper-class steakhouse - lots of darker interior colors with deliberate use of lighting almost like the aisles in a movie theater. We did the responsible thing and made 6:30pm reservations, though the restaurant was relatively empty when we first got there (it filled up for sure during our dinner). We were immediately seated and attended to, which was a pleasant recurring theme for our experience. On the booze front, we each got an Old Fashioned, which was specifically cited on the cocktail menu, and a bottle of Daou Cab Sauvignon to share (I let my chum take the lead on that selection, which I think was influenced by the strong reviews on the Vivino app - a recommend if you're into that sort of thing). The Old-Fashioned was decent; I'm always pleased when the de facto bourbon is Angel's Envy. I'm not crazy about vermouth, which I always think gives off shoe leather vibes, but I did like the smoky profile on this one. Not bad at all, but I liked the bottle of wine better. We decided to split the Grilled Octopus app, which came with seasoned potatoes, olives and tomatoes. This was arguably the weakest part of the meal. The octopus was a little tough/rubbery and the accompanying potatoes to me were very much needed and better, frankly, than the designated star of the show here. I'm not an olive person but my chum's comment there was they were too overwhelming, taste-wise. Noted. We also got a side of parmesan truffle garlic steak fries, which I didn't have too many of because I was distracted by all of the other options on the table, but would totally get again. For entrees, it felt morally proper to hit up the cattle (when in Rome). I went with the Braised Short Ribs, which is one of my go-tos if it's on the menu. Pretty good - VERY tender and literally falling off the bone. I'd say about 20% of it was too fatty for me, and I pawned that section off on my chum, but the other 80% was primo. She got the Filet Mignon Oscar style (which my computer wanted to autocorrect to Oscars, thinking it was the umpteenth time I was typing something about the Academy Awards), and was very pleased by it. Not mindblowingly amazing but solidly above average across the board. I'm not sure why we ordered dessert at this point other than to ensure I had something else to munch on the following day, but we did that too. I got the Cheesecake w/ Marionberry Compote. This was just okay for me. Taste-wise, the cheesecake seemed a little off for my palate; maybe a little too tart? It didn't seem as milky as other cheesecakes, which doesn't necessarily mean it was bad, but wasn't my kind of cheesecake. The compote was also just okay, both in the moment and as a leftover the following day. Maybe I'm just used to getting this dessert with strawberries and compotes that are similar to that type of fruit, but I just didn't think the compote and cake meshed as well. Debatable though. There's room for improvement but this is a strong entry in the Cranford gastro scene, such as it is.

Whenever i get bubble tea i always come here! The woman who always helps us is really sweet and friendly. The place is clean and cozy. There are a lot of bubble tea places in cranford but this is my favorite one!
