Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty. The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.

This is one of the only places in the area for frozen yogurt and what I come here for most of the time. They also have bubble tea. There's a credit card minimum of I think $10 so remember to bring cash if you can't meet that. I enjoy their onigiri which they always make fresh, I usually order several for a quick bite at home. Definitely recommend this place - there is nowhere close by with their unique offerings.

The two gentleman who helped my friend and I make our bubble tea selection were very friendly and accommodating. 5 stars for service. 3 for the tea. This is a popular hang out for teenagers as the middle school is up the street. They have frozen yogurt, sushi as well as bubble tea. I had a taro milk tea with 25% sugar. I did not taste the taro. It was OK but not as good as some. If you are in the area, it will do the trick. Parking is free in Chatham.

I definitely need to go here in person. My husband picked up, and he said it was nice inside. Looked like a yogurt boba spot, he said. Drinks: Honeydew milk tea boba, AMAZING! Mango milk tea, also very delicious Food: Spicy Edamame I wasn't sure what this topping was. I thought maybe tajin. Not exactly what I expected. It was ok. Godzilla Roll - Eel, kani, white fish & seaweed salad (in), lightly fried served w. spicy mayo & eel sace (5pcs) This was a very filling roll, flavors were great together Yummy Roll - Shrimp tempura, avocado (in), spicy kani (top) w. spicy mayo & eel sauce (8pcs) My son devoured this one. I had to chopstick challenge him to eat the last one lol Snow on Fire Roll - Spicy crunchy tuna (in), yellowtail, white tuna & jalapeno (top) w. chili sauce (8pcs) This one was my favorite, fresh tasting. Delightful. Spam Onigiri I was actually very excited for this. I can't find this anywhere. I've made it before! I think i had trouble opening it so it kinda fell apart. There's instructions on how to open. Anyways, very tasty!!! I think i will always order this. The rolls were very filling! I definitely want to try more!

I wish I knew about this place sooner! Its nice having such a high-quality sushi spot (with affordable prices) within walking distance in town! And somewhere with a wide variety of bubble tea options is always exciting too! My friends and I placed a pretty big order online, and it was ready in anout 20 minutes! All of the fish felt fresh, the prices were reasonable, and the boba was so much fun! I will definitely be going back for more.

My husband and I ordered take out here. He walked to pick up since it's right there for us. For out of towners or that don't live close by there is street parking for an hour and a half or public parking available free for 3 hours in a lot. My husband spoke with the owners, they opened about two and a half weeks ago! He said they were very friendly. Shout out to Jackie and Michelle! I ordered us the lychee milk tea with lychee popping boba. I love that we are able to just walk and get great bubble tea instead of driving to Bergen county. The presentation of the sushi is just as great as it tastes. We got the Godzilla Roll. It was close to closing time so we hopped in on ordering quick. We are so delighted to have a boba plus sushi spot.

It appears to be that most people come here for their sushi and bubble tea. But I was in the area and wanted Froyo and saw that they also serve that as well. They had a decent amount of froyo flavors. They also had 2 sections for toppings for the froyo. Everything was self-served. I liked that there was a seating area ( indoor and outdoor) to enjoy your froyo as well or whatever else you purchased. I just wish the toppings had some sort of shield to protect them. One of the areas with the toppings seemed a bit disheveled as well. Nonetheless, my froyo was good, and the toppings tasted fresh.

Looking for a new local place to treat ourselves to bubble tea when the mood strikes. Menu caught my eye for their food options, I'm very tempted to come back for a bite!

I ordered the lunch special online, 3 rolls and miso soup for $15. Incredible value, excellent sushi. Food was ready upon my entrance, friendly staff. Will be coming back here, hard to beat this deal.

This is sort of "part 2" to my review of my July 4th movie going experience. As we left the theater…read morein Manville on that brutally hot day, my old friend abruptly brought up the fact that he still owed me a meal for driving him up to Paramus a few months ago so he could buy a used car. At the time, he told me he'd buy me dinner for helping him out. I told him he didn't need to buy me dinner. If I can help someone...friend, family member or acquaintance...I'll do it out of the goodness of my heart, not because I'm expecting a recompense. He insisted he was buying me dinner. Being that it was July 4th, and I doubted any restaurant would be open, I was suspicious that his offer was a conman's grift to get out of buying me food. Then again, he had brought it up. I felt guilty for doubting his sincerity. We drove to restaurants in Gillette and Basking Ridge. All closed. We went to Gabriel's Fountain in Martinsville, where we had previously eaten. We saw people and assumed it was open. As it turned out, they were only serving ice cream, not regular food. I love ice cream, but given I had eaten a tub of popcorn, a box of cookie dough candy, and a Coke just an hour or so previously, I wasn't really in the mood for ice cream. Truth be told, I wasn't in the mood for food period. But I thought I could down a bowl of soup somewhere and relieve my friend of this burden of "payback." So we soldiered on. Miraculously, a diner was open in New Providence. My friend didn't want diner food. In Murray Hill, we found an open Chinese restaurant that looked relatively cheap. My friend didn't feel like Chinese food. He checked his phone and said there were 3 restaurants in Summit that were open for business, and they had good reviews. At that point, I just wanted to go home to my air-conditioned domicile and crash, but...we continued on. In Summit, 2 of the restaurants he had read about on his phone were closed. The 1 that was actually open had a line in front of it a half mile long. I said, "I'm not standing on line in this heat for anything. Let's just go..." "Look, try the main street! There has to be something open!" On Summit's Springfield Ave., we parked on the street (no parking meter tolls on this holiday). Some people were out and about on the street, and some places actually did look like they might be open. In spite of his earlier expressed antipathy towards the partaking of Chinese food on this torturous (weather-wise) evening, my friend steered us through the open doors of Blossom Asian Bistro. The restaurant is spacious and modernistically furnished. We were seated and after 1 look at the menu, my friend said, "I can't pay for you tonight-- not at these prices!" I knew it would be pointless to remind him of the cheap prices at the Murray Hill Chinese place he had rejected, so I didn't. And then, I don't know what weird impulse took hold of me--- I wasn't really hungry, I didn't have a lot of money on me, and eating a massive amount of food like I was still 20 years old can set my increasingly precarious digestion absolutely and embarrassingly haywire, but I decided to order a meal in addition to the soup. Call it the "Imp of the Perverse," or maybe I'm just a gluttonous food addict. I thought, "I can fast tomorrow." Service was friendly, prompt. We both ordered the Chicken Wonton Soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The broth was tasty, not salty, and the wontons, light and delicate...not at all like the doughy, heavy ones that I'm accustomed to (which I still love in spite of their doughy heaviness), were delicious. I ordered the cheapest item on the menu (can't remember what my friend ordered, but he liked it, whatever it was). For me, it was Sesame Chicken, described on the menu as "white meat chicken fried with lotus flour in sweet tangy sesame sauce." I'm not sure what "lotus flour" is, but the dish was served with brown rice, and I enjoyed every mouthful. The food was fresh, prepared with real care, and was eminently enjoyable. The prices were expensive, but then this is Summit. I think it comes with the territory. And the food was very good. Sometimes (oftentimes) you do pay for what you get. If I have a negative to offer, it's that the temperature inside bordered on being uncomfortable. The Reading Theater in Manville had felt like an icebox, but at Blossom, I was 1 step away from breaking into an unsightly sweat. I didn't, but I thought at these prices, the place should be cooler on such a brutally hot day than it was. Given my previous consumption of popcorn and candy, I wasn't in the mood for dessert (or maybe it was my stomach indicating to me, "I've been merciful so far today, but you order dessert now on top of everything else you've eaten, and I really AM gonna embarrass you! Big time!"). We paid and left. I promised my rebellious stomach I would fast the next day. And did. Definitely recommended. When I'm flush, I'd like to come back and try 1 of the more expensive dishes. With a dessert.

Seriously. You cannot see any sign of other than the sign. You go into a glass vestibule and down into the basement. Basement? Yes. It's a basement. Is it dark? Not really. Is the ceiling low? A little. But it's a big open space. You don't feel crowded. It's all you can eat and it's a big menu. A lot of choices. I was trying to be judicious. I came by myself so I didn't want to order anything that came with 6 pieces of the same thing. I ordered everything at once which is unnecessary. They bring you another round of blank ordering pages. I had the miso soup which was spectacular. I had the seaweed salad which was very good. And a good portion. The sashimi was a thick piece which was a little weird at first but excellent quality. I had one piece of sushi. You know to be honest I'm not sure that the piece I ate was one that I ordered. And I think one of the pieces I ordered I never received. But I'm not going to complain. I had every opportunity to order as much as I wanted. I had a Peking duck appetiser I really enjoyed in a little pancake. I could have happily eaten 10 of them. Barbecued octopus which was a little chewy. Probably my least favorite but still very good. I think coming with a group would be ideal so you could try more things. I didn't even break into the rolls or hand rolls. And I didn't try the chicken wings which is something I love. I didn't get dessert which consisted of several flavors of icecream or fresh fruit. When I go next time I will not order everything at once because it comes out as they finish it so I think this added to my confusion over what I had ordered and if I had received everything. Next time I will order it coursed out how I want it. And there will certainly be a next time. Really, really enjoyed it.
