This review is for the doctor. I went back to doctor who is terrific. Prescription is spot on. I don't want my last review to reflect on the doctor. This time I went to a different location and the office staff out front were a little nicer and a little less aggressive. I did have an issue with the billing because I have two insurance companies now and the officethat they could only bill one and I had to bill the other. I was told I had to pay the difference before I went in to see doctor. After the visit I sent the required information to the other insurance company. The insurance company sent the payment to the doctor's company even though I had already paid them during my visit. I called the doctor's and they reimbursed me - but if they had not insisted I pay upfront it would have been easier for all. I have been going to DR. Lynch for a number of years. He is a amiable person. By feel his practice is all about the money now. Recently I had an appt for a exam I was brought into a room with equipment and asked if there were addition fees. I was told the big new machine for glaucoma would cost an additional $49, I was not advised of this when I checked in. I did not want to pay the fee for something not covered by insurance. I was told I must have this done or they wouldn't do any part of my exam . They were forcing me into care I didn't want. I have notice over the years additional fees have been creeping into the billing. I think this practice is all about the money I'm looking for new DR. read more

This office has terrible options as far as parking. Their staff is also not really good at knowing their basic jobs. They have a huge selection of expensive designer lenses they want to sell you, yet they will flat out ignore you in their store - only to tell you they have no idea what enchroma lenses are -eve. though their receptionist told you they did and they could help you order them in a minute. The tech then ignores you and when you go to leave finally asks what you need and has absolutely no idea what encroma is. They'll sell you lenses to change your eye color from brown to blue, but can't be bothered to even know how to order lenses that correct an actual vision problem. Awful. read more

I would not recommend this place! They will charge you for everything they do even when they know your insurance doesn't cover it. I took my daughters for an eye exam. Which is covered under my vision insurance. They took scans of their eyes and then charged me for it. They did not ask if it would be okay to take these pictures in the first place. And they didn't bother telling me that it wasn't covered. I had to do a follow-up for one of my daughters after her eye exam because they wanted to make sure they had her prescription right. After our follow-up, they tell me I owe more money because my vision insurance did not cover it. Are you kidding me??? This second visit was to double check her prescription. It cost me even more then original eye exam for both kids. Total rip off! Then they try to tell me I need to bring her back 3 months from now to check if anything changes. This time I asked if it would cost me and they answered. Otherwise I would have gotten stuck with another charge. They do whatever they can to make themselves more money! Your better of going to Elliot Eyes in Foxboro. They will let you know what is and isn't covered before they do anything. Unlike this place where they will do everything they can to charge you more. read more

They lie to you to get your money. Place is pricey. The doctors dont follow through with what they tell you and seem to always be on vaca. I'd rather cut my eyes out then return here. read more

I went in for a new pair of eyeglasses, stood at the desk, no one was there. when a staff member finally came to see if I needed help, I felt like I was wasting their time and the staff was too busy to care. I got short answer questions, bad eye contact, and the staff didn't really seem to care what I wanted for eye glasses. I inform the person that I just look around, boy was that a mistake. When I finally found a pair of glasses, the staff magically disappeared, when staff showed up I could have been invisible. I left with no eyeglasses :( read more

Mansfield Eye Center provides the best optometry service I've ever had! The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, everyone is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to offer exemplary customer service. During my last visit, I had started a new job and was unable to remember who provided my eye care insurance. The individual at the front desk, Marisa Pitts, took down my information, called around while I was in my eye exam, and she saved me lots of money by tracking down my coverage! I usually see Dr. Meghan Lambert, and she's the greatest. She even noted that I had started a new job, one with a significant amount of time spent in front of a computer, and offered recommendations and advice on eyesight care based on my career transition. Everyone here takes great pride in their work and it absolutely shows. read more

Very clean and safe environment. Had a great exam with state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Lynch came right in, didn't rush me, gave a complete exam with photos. Very friendly, professional and competent. Glasses were expensive but time was spent with me choosing the right frames. Broke my glasses the Friday morning before a holiday weekend. Called up and explained what happened, the staff was able to fit me in less then 2 hours after I called. Dr. Lynch was professional (and on time). The staff was extremely helpful, very nice and made the process as smooth as possible. Most importantly though, they had my new glasses ready within an hour after my appointment. I can say that my wife and I will definitely continue our eye care here. read more

Needed some new eye glasses and decided to check out Mansfield Eye Center. Located in Downtown Mansfield, I found the location very convenient and the office very modern with brand new equipment. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly while the service was fast and efficient. I was very happy with the price of both the eye exam and my new glasses. My family has been going here for years. The front desk girls were nice and friendly. It was my daughters first time, The blonde woman whom I haven't ever met was the one who was going to do the testing. She didn't seemed to thrilled t have to deal with us from her first greeting in thewaiting area. I disregarded the rudeness as we all have bad days. Then it was snappy, condescending the way she continuously spoke to us!!!!!!! She repeatedly told my daughter "your not going to be able to see the doctor until your done" which we are already aware so I tried to help her along and when she kept shaking her head or making ignorant facial expressions, I then stop her to remind her that she is a child and has ADHD . She continued with her ignorance and I had to cancel both appointments. It's sad because I really love Dr Lynch but this is unacceptable from any professional .... This woman simply has no empathy or certainly does not have any children. read more

I had a great experience at Mansfield Eye Center. I ended up buying three pairs of glasses, one with progressive lenses, one specifically for the computer, and a pair of sunglasses. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly, professional and always smiling. After my initial exam, Barbara helped me choose the frames for my glasses. She has a great eye for which frames work best and are the most flattering. Barbara asked what I was looking for and provided some great options and gave me honest feedback. Thanks to her help I found frames quickly and easily and was confident in how I looked in them. I have gotten nothing but compliments on my new glasses, and I can see perfectly now!
