This place has some great reviews a some bad. Unfortunately, I haven't had food this bland in a long time. The pad Thai had almost no flavor. I asked for chicken and got chunks of tofu. That normally wouldn't bother me because I can pick the pieces out, but since the rest of it was so blah it made it more annoying. I was so hungry and only could stand to eat 10 bites. I kept trying to decide if it was good. It wasn't. -The Bangkok sweet chili curry was gross. I haven't described a food as gross in a long time either. The chicken texture when biting into it was "creepy". Idk how else to describe it but some people will understand. The Singapore curry chow mein was also very bland. Went here for lunch for the first time and had mixed feelings. The service was very slow even though there was not anyone there. The guy taking our order was hanging out in the back with his headphones on and finally got up and came to the cash register and took our order. It took a really long time for our order to be ready. The food was good and it was a decent amount but to be honest not sure I would routine. There are lots of tables inside but I have never eaten inside so maybe you can quicker service if you eat inside. read more

I'm not sure why the bad reviews. We did not have that experience. The customer service was great and the food came out pretty quickly. We both had the General Tso Stirfry and it was probably the best I've ever had. You can choose your protein and carbs. I chose Lo mein and grilled chicken. My boyfriend had his with white rice. They were both so flavorful. Lots of fresh ingredients and fresh peppers. We also ordered the Orange Pepper and Firecracker wings. They were fresh and crispy and sooo good. Tin Drum is incredible!!! I've eaten here EVERYDAY for a week and a half and tried something new everyday. You can eat here for a month and STILL not try everything on the menu. The menu is massive. We were in the mood for some Bubble Tea and decided to give this place a try. There are other Bubble Tea places in Pooler but honestly I haven't found one that I truly enjoy until I came here! Pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure what to expect regarding the food quality since it was a fast-casual restaurant serving unique Asian dishes that I typically enjoy at a full-service or casual dining restaurant. I think I expected prepared food, but if it was, it didn't taste that way here. Everything was tasty and very flavorful. We ordered the Bangkok Sweet Chili curry and the Pork Belly Tonkotsu Ramen, and they were both excellent, and the prices were appropriate for the amount of food we received. The Bangkok tasted very similar to red curry at most Asian restaurants but this one was a bit sweeter to me. As for the Ramen the broth was excellent. Not overly spiced and just the right temperature. The pork was cooked just right. The dishes even looked like the photos on the menu. I can't forget to mention that the customer service was excellent. From when we walked into the moment we left. Everyone was helpful. Additionally, I loved the music selection--nothing like hearing Anita Baker while dining in. Now for the minor things. The air conditioner wasn't working, so it was a bit hot and they were out of strawberry and mango so I couldn't try the Mango Passion Fruit Slushie. I arrived to pick up my online order when it said it would be ready, they told me 10 more minutes. Went to my car and came back in, took almost 10 more minutes for anyone to come out and a line of people trying to order ended up walking out since nobody was there to take their order. Then a girl in sandals starts making drinks and bagging food and also didn't say anything to me. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for my order and most of it is inedible. My green beans are undercooked. The chicken lettuce cups are greasy mush.... Not like anything I've ever had from Tin Drum before. What a waste of $80 read more

I love this place, If has such a fun atmosphere and great and fast service. So why does it have two stars? Well, the food is a hit or miss. The drinks you come here for are usually great (when all the ingredients are in stock), and whenever I'm by, I typically stop to get some snacks. The service is also the definition of amazing. From giving us a different meal when they overheard us saying it wasn't out favorite, to helping someone I went with who was feeling uncomfortable and indecisive. The issue is, the actual food. The food usually tastes good, But they don't do well with people's stomachs. That is to say, the last few times we ate here, I'll just describe it. My sister ate at this restaurant with me and ordered the food. We both got boba, but only she had something to eat. Later in the day, she had food poisoning. She ate something else that didn't taste that good, so we thought it was that. So I went there again with a friend. I got a Tikka Masalaa, that gave me the same thing. It's a trap! Avoid unless you like to overpay for food. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with soba noodles from Uber Eats. My order did not come with a spoon for the broth. Broth didn't have any depth and there was also very little broth in the bowl. I asked for soba noodles and got pasta noodles instead. Portions are small. I received 3 thin and small slices of pork with little noodles. Soy egg was overcooked and soaked in soy for too long. Ramen tastes like regret. You'll be left hungry and $25 poorer. read more

The place was clean although not busy during lunch hour. Drinks - Big problem here. A wide variety of bubble tea drinks but all are sugar filled and don't work well fir a diabetic. Had tonkotsu ramen, char su pork was tender but bland. Soft boiled egg was hard boiled and cold in the middle with a green tint on the yolk which means it had been sitting out for a while. I was so excited to try this new place. I was highly disappointed. I give a 3 start because the staff was great and friendly. My daughter and I went in for dinner. They were out of a lot of ingredients to make their dishes. Also they do not offer regular drinks for people that don't drink Bubble tea. On a down note staff should not suggest food that half the ingredients are missing to make it. The restaurant itself was really nice and clean. May or may not try this place again. It was over $40.00 for 2 people and not sure if it is worth it when half the ingredients we're missing. The food here is really good the service as well. I had the spicy Ramen with the dumplings. I was told that it was really hot so they substituted it with the Ramen broth from the other Ramen dish. I loved the Boba! the brown sugar boba , AMAZING. The ambience was nice, I didn't sit inside and eat though. But all my food was really fresh and it was very tasty. This was a cute place! The snacks everywhere was a nice touch and made me feel like a kid again. Friendly staff and great menu options. I ordered a Saigon salad but they brought me a small salad with shrimp instead which tasted pretty good so I didn't think twice about eating it. I didn't catch the mistake until I was leaving and went back to get a menu to order a to go drink and noticed that the salad I ate was missing a lot of the ingredients in the description. The girls were really nice and fixed it by offering me a true Saigon salad to go. Their drinks are delicious! They taste better than the food for now. I don't like that I paid 45 cents per topping for my drink when I chose mint leaves I got ONE mint leaf. (Drink was still yummy) husband got their classic tea with boba and it was good too. I ordered from Door Dash for the third time today, and it has been delicious every time! My husband and I both got Tonkotsu Ramen, mine with grilled chicken, his with beef. We both loved it. We also had spring rolls which were a little greasy, but tasty. I wish there were a spice level just under number 1 because I love spice, but even 1 is a bit much. This place has become my go-to for Ramen. I'd like to try other dishes, but the Ramen is so good, I keep going back to it. read more

The wings tasted great but I expected them to be crispier - maybe because it was a takeout. I ordered the sweet and savory fried chicken - it was crisp and tasty. Questionable if it was worth the price, but otherwise happy with the flavors and quality. The bad: white rice. Seriously? Tasted like Uncle Ben's. Or hospital food. Not sure how sometime so simple could've been missed. Maybe a cost-cutting measure. But this is not the plain fluffy sticky white rice every other Asian place has. Very disappointed with that. Operations at the shop seemed to be a little chaotic but it was a Friday night at dinner time. Location was clean and well lit. When you walk through the door the restaurant gives off a trendy and edgy vibe with the decor and the set up, there was music playing softly and we were greeted as we walked in. The gentleman behind the counter was patient while we decided what we wanted and made recommendations as well. My husband ordered the spicy miso and potsticker ramen. The dish itself was a beautiful work of art with vibrant colors and an amazing aroma. There was just the right amount of spice and the flavors overall were perfect! I ordered the Bangkok sweet chili curry. The dish again was artfully plated and the flavor balance was perfect! A little sweet a little heat. For our beverages the Taro milk tea and the peach tea were excellent as well, perfect size to make it through the meal. The staff was kind and checked on us at the end of the meal to see what we thought. We will definitely be back again to explore more of the menu! read more
