Big portions food is really good. Spice levels are accurate. The beef was a bit over cooked but it softened when I reheated and allowed to tenderize at home

This might have been some of the best Mongolian beef I've had in a really long time. Nice and crispy with a very flavorful sauce with fluffy rice. The restaurant was small and we had to wait a bit on a table even on a Monday night. But it was clean and bright. The drink was good and strong and the wait staff was nice and attentive. We also had the fire short rib which was very tender and flavorful but the Mongolian beef stole the show. Will absolutely be back again.

Ambiance: beautiful entry, bar and dining room. Comfortable seating and nice division of entry and dining/bar. Cloth napkins would really help hit the high mark. Service: wait staff asked me if table or booth preference instead of assuming. Requested not high heat and staff gave an honest answer of trying to knock it down. Food: all was tasty

The service was good, took a long while to get water and the check, but they were friendly. The Crispy Wonton Tacos are a fan favorite and I see why. Very decadent, maybe a little too much sauce but it is super food. I tried the Mongolian chicken and was just not impressed with the lack of flavor. I tried mixing it around to pick up sauce on the plate but it just didn't taste like anything. I would give other dishes a try, though.

10/10 Experience! Me and my husband went to Wild Ginger in Pooler, GA for a date night and absolutely loved it! We only ordered drinks and appetizers, but everything was so good and filling that we didn't even make it to the entrées. The drinks were perfectly made -- flavorful and refreshing -- and every appetizer we tried was packed with flavor (the chili edamame and Korean BBQ ribs were our favorites!). The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the rest of the staff made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a chill night out. We'll definitely be going back soon -- Wild Ginger is officially one of our new favorite spots in Pooler!

Sweet redemption!!!! My parents have recently gone plant based and they were in town visiting and wanted to try Wild Ginger based on the great menu items for their diet. Like last time, place was clean, people were friendly and happy, got a seat right away for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon And had a high chair for the baby. I ordered the same dish I had last time, the Singapore street noodle and we shared edamame as an app. I asked for some simple steamed veggies for the baby and they were so kind and asked specifically what he'd like and brought him a little side of carrots and broccoli only. The edamame was off the charts delicious!! The noodles, sooooo good!!! So much flavor and curry, and loaded with veggies, shrimp, and chicken. I've been craving this whole thing all week! I'm so happy I was finally able to give this place another try, so worth it!!

Probably some of the best food I've ever had in Pooler. It makes you wanna go back the next day.

I love everything about this little restaurant. Just passing through so I have no idea if it's been here long, but they have plenty of business. The decor is nice. Music just loud enough to enhance your privacy. A large menu with a number of choices, even if you have dietary restrictions, like vegan, vegetarian or even a few gluten-free dishes. Nice people!

I got the chance to enjoy take out on Valentine's day and even with the crowds of people the food was well prepared and completed at the expected time. Unfortunately, the flavor could have been better in regards to the soup and dumplings. The sweet and sour shrimp was flavorful and yummy. I will definitely check it out again, but I would prefer to try it dining in to experience the menu first hand because sometimes bringing food home can change the caliber of how much you enjoy something.

Best Chinese food in pooler as of April 2025. Large portions, friendly and fast service. Pleasant casual atmosphere without giving strip mall Chinese store vibes. Mongolian beef was tender and savory - excellent overall , sesame chicken was great and actual chicken breast - not that mystery meat. Rice was also excellent. I'd go as far as to say this meal was better than flock to the wok downtown Savannah, which has gone downhill in both quality and quantity of food, especially for how much they charge Will definitely make this a regular stop

We had lunch at Wild Ginger and this time, the food was not as good as I remember. I got the lettuce wraps, which were good, but nothing extraordinary. The dish was plentiful, but the flavor profile was just average. My husband got the beef and broccoli and it was overly salty and marinated. Overall a decent place for Asian fusion, but I think next time we will try another place.

I've been here a few times by myself, but his time I brought my BFF from NY to experience the food. She loved the Spicy Lamb & Veggie . I enjoyed the Honey Shrimp. The Mongolian Chicken & Plum wine was from the time I brought my daughter who was visiting from VA. Both enjoyed the experience & atmosphere. The staff is super nice and accommodating. A must visit if you are in Pooler GA.

Spring rolls were great too and we loved the steamed Shrimp Rolls in a lemon teriyaki sauce. Two of us ordered the Nam Tok Beef Salad and it was amazing. My first time ordering this dish. It's similar to Laab/Larb but with beef instead of chicken. It was a tender flank steak, tossed with lettuce, cucumber, green onions and chilis. The service itself was good: we were seated quickly, drinks came right away, and our server checked on us multiple times. No complaints there. That said, the food was where things fell short. The portions were noticeably smaller than the Savannah location. The beef in both the beef and broccoli and the pan-fried noodles was very chewy, which took away from the overall experience. The sweet-and-sour chicken was a bit overcooked and crunchy--still edible, but not great. The pan-fried noodles had good flavor, but again, the chewy beef was an issue. Initially, they brought me the wrong soup kind of debated me for a moment telling me it was the right one, but it wasn't. They correct the right one though after a longer conversation. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and clean. Lots of cherry blossom decorations on the ceiling make it feel warm. It was clean and did not smell bad. Our total came out to about $86 with tip, which isn't bad price-wise, but for the quality and portion size, it didn't feel worth it compared to the other location. Overall, it's okay, but definitely a step down. If I'm craving E Tang, I'd skip this Pooler spot and go back to the original Savannah location instead.

We were looking for something…read morecasual but filling for dinner and because we had not tried out this place yet but had driven by several times, we decided to check it out. Definitely a great decision on a hunch. This is an all you can eat hot pot concept and frankly my first time attending this version. While I have visited hibachi restaurants in the past, this is not that. Basically this is a dual table side prep concept where you can either make your own custom soups and broths, and hot pot seafood or you can select the grill and grill of a variety of fresh meats and fish and vegetables, or you can get both. Both come with a small dessert bar and seem to be accompanied with the additional Fresh salad and sauce bar, although I'm not quite sure if one of those may have been restricted if you did the grill only or the hot pot only. Pricing is pretty fair at about $30 a person which rises to mid 30s if you decide to get both options. We went with the combo because we had never tried this concept before, but in the future, I may lean more towards the grill option only. Especially if I'm not in the mood for hot pot or soup. But I definitely enjoyed the combination choice for our first visit. The meat and vegetable selections at this restaurant are pretty vast and this is after the server first sets you up and allows you to pick from several different types of broth for your hot pot. In addition, they have a sauce bar that must've had 20+ sauces available to choose from. I think one of the most overwhelming aspects of this concept is lack of familiarity with the right combinations of hot pot and grilled options. For this we leaned heavily on our server and she did a great job of guiding us through a couple of her favorite combinations, as well as some of the favorite combinations of other patrons. This was really helpful because there isn't a menu or chart to help you unlock all of the really cool combinations that you can put together including Ramen udon and Thai soup varieties. All of the ingredients you need to make any of those dishes, but in your own customize version, are here to your heart's desire. Service is really good as they do switch out the grills rather rapidly as they will get charred and start to burn and smoke after three or four rounds of fresh meats and veggies slapped on them. However, they do not switch out your broth choice so once you make your choice, that's what you're rolling with for the rest of the dinner. All in all we were really satisfied with the freshness and the preparation of most of the ingredients and sauces. I did think the dessert bar was a little weak given the multitude of options elsewhere, but I also understand that this is consistent with the cultural preferences, which don't skew as heavy on traditional sweets, like American taste do. All in all this is definitely a treat for those looking for a great date night or just looking to take the family out for a really engaging and tasty cook at your table experience - all you can eat style!

If you look at the signage, there is a deer. The exterior of the restaurant is very exciting with their displays of bubbles and the fake fish to make it look like a fish tank which is fitting for a seafood restaurant. When you go inside, you are immediately greeted, they also have very Japanese style gocha gocha machines in the back behind the counter. I'm not sure if they're functional or not, but it definitely added to the esthetic. They also had Crane machines to give it a Japanese game center vibe, but it was still rather cohesive. The decorations were great and the ambiance is great. There were kokeshi dolls, Japanese dolls, swords but all tastefully displayed. The setting was very exciting and very clean. Everyone wore uniforms, whether it be a embroidered yukata top or an apron. They looked very cute and very reminiscent of what you would come across in Japan. Service was excellent from beginning to end The food was delicious. Albeit, the selection is not as vast, but the quality was good. I've already accepted the fact that a lot of Japanese restaurants here are owned and operated by Chinese or Taiwanese people and they will have random non-Japanese food on the menu not traditionally served at a sushi restaurant, but you can see that this place definitely respected the culture and added a hint of theirs without straying far away from Japanese cuisine. We also had a very delicious sake that had grits of rice in it, and it was very interesting, very good, but also very strong. My husband and I had to share a bottle. I absolutely loved the kinako mochi with condensed milk. I never thought to put condensed milk on kinako so I would go for that again! My only negative about this place is the bathroom. Incredibly small and not as neat compared to the rest of the restaurant. I feel like the bill for 2 was quite fair considering the experience that we had and the food and service that we received. I will definitely recommend this place and I will definitely come again.

But now let's talk about Naan Appetit. So what I really like about this restaurant is the value for the ambience and atmosphere. This is a very nicely appointed restaurant that I actually thought was a furniture store before we realized it was an actual restaurant. Very well appointed well designed and upscale in look, feel and function. Service is very strong with multiple servers and front of house greeting you immediately upon entry. We were seated within 3 to 5 minutes of walking in, and this was on a Friday night with a fairly full house. Once we were seated, our server immediately came over, provided us with menus and gave us a bit of information about the restaurant. We then proceed to ask a couple of questions about level of spice, and were really pleased with the servers descriptions of the various items on the menu and which ones we may or may not want to avoid depending on our spice level preference. I really appreciated the way the menu was set up which allowed for fairly easy decision making when it came to what we wanted to order. We went with mostly traditional entrees, ordering the lamb vindaloo, and the korma. Both were authentic and very well seasoned and spiced. We also ordered a couple of the garlic butter Naan bread, which were also really good. And lastly, we tried out the tandoori wings, which I had read on previous Yelp reviews were a highlight of the restaurant. When we first asked the server about them, he seemed a bit reluctant to recommend them because of the time it would take for them to be delivered to our table, which was approximately 30 minutes. We told him we weren't in a rush and didn't have anywhere else to be so we were totally fine with ordering them. It turns out that they ended up coming to the table before our appetizers even made it. So a bit of an overblown concern there. Outside of that little wrinkle, our overall experience was really pleasurable, especially given the sub $100 price point we paid including tip. This is definitely one of the restaurants we will be going to during our stay here in Savannah. And if I had to give the best advice on the difference between this restaurant and the other, I would say pick this for date night and pick the other one for family night.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It has a great atmosphere and would be a nice date night dining place. They have a bar with unique drinks and yummy looking desserts in a glass case. Our server is the owner/chef's daughter and she told us lots of information on the restaurant and answered all our questions regarding the menu and drinks. My friend had the Papaya Fried Rice. The dinner bowl was the size of a serving bowl! My friend said it was very good. I had the Thai Red Curry with tofu. The lightly fried tofu had crispy edges and was a perfect fit with the red curry. The dish had a variety of veggies and the curry had just enough zing without making my eyes water. It was so delicious! We found the prices to be extremely reasonable and our leftovers were a full meal for the next day. Don't skip this place! The service, ambience and food were top notch. I've been back 3 times in the past 6 weeks and it's now my top spot for lunch and dinner.
