Tidal Road Brewery in Bordentown is well worth a visit. Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. The cozy atmosphere inside makes it a perfect spot to relax with a drink, whether you're stopping in for a quick beer or spending the evening with friends. They have a solid selection of brews, offering a good variety for different tastes--from hop-forward IPAs to smooth, easy-drinking lagers. My favorite is hazy recall, which is a NE hazy IPA with juicy flavor and smooth after taste. Make sure you get one when you are there next time. Marcy, the owner, is a fantastic host who makes everyone feel welcome. She's friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for guests. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, you'll feel right at home. If you're in the area and looking for a great local brewery with a warm, inviting vibe, Tidal Road Brewery is definitely worth checking out!

Stumbled upon this cozy brewery in Bordentown. They had about 10 beer options to try. I had the Boats n Hoes and it was tasty! There were some cool bar games with plenty of seating options. They had free pizza, too. Cool perk! Would love to come back someday. LGBT+ friendly!!

"Pecan I have another?" Brown ale and a hard peach seltzer slushee.

At risk of sounding like some douchey Supreme Court member, I like beer! Tindall Road has always been a good place to stop in and imbibe. Their menu changes regularly because...they're a brewery. To me, the fact that the menu isn't overwhelmingly huge, and isn't 1000 IPA's with no other varieties is a very big plus. They offer flights up to growlers. Some brews are 10 oz pours and others are 16. Having a non-beer option available is awesome for those who DON'T like beer or are celiac. In this case, that was a peach seltzer that was available as a slushee. It got good reviews. The brewery now offers some snack options like dietz & watson "dietz nuts" (clever), bags of chips, and I think I saw beef jerky on the shelf too. However if you really need to soak up the alcohol, or wish to pair it with food, the owners are happy to let you bring in cuisine from any eatery you'd like (and there are several within stumbling distance). The bathroom is clean and the bar staff was friendly and happy to chat. Some outdoor seating and water bowls for people's canine companions were a nice touch on a warm May afternoon. It seems like a kid friendly place as well, they have couches in the front where they could be seen and heard. That's fine with me. I ended up having 3 different beers this past Saturday: a brown ale, a lager, and a dry Irish stout. The brown ale was my favorite of the bunch, but that might be because it was my third beer. Who knows? sometimes the law of diminishing marginal utility doesn't apply. They partner with the Bordentown library for trivia on..I think it's Wednesday night. We want to check that out sometime. Trivia or not, we'll definitely be back!

BORDENTOWN: Tindall Road Brewery is located in the beautiful downtown Bordentown and their outdoor tables are dog friendly! People watch as you enjoy seasonal selections and regular favorites in a flight or pint. The Huckleberry Wheat was great! When you are done, walk down the beautiful Farnsworth Avenue. There is also the Delaware River right down W Park street!

A friend and I had a very nice time here a few days ago. She's been a few times but this was my first visit. As in many of the Bordentown restaurants, a tent extends into the street for more outdoor space. It was a mild evening but we opted to sit inside mainly so I could order a flight( they are not available outside) We also brought a pizza and cannolis with us to better enjoy the brews. I was happy with my four selections, probably enjoyed the milkshake IPA and pumpkin chai the best. I'm a super fan of sours, but sadly they were not represented here. But each beer sampled was fresh and well made, though not necessarily earth shattering. I finished the tasting with a nice porter, pairing nicely with the sweet cannoli. The 2 employees we encountered were friendly and professional. We were deep in conversation so were left alone most of our time here. But a single taster came in to sit at the bar and I noticed the warm interaction. I liked the interior, wide open space with large bar and brew kettles all out front on display. Even during Covid there were about 6-8 seating options inside, not including the bar. My advice: get takeout from somewhere on this street or nearby and come in for a flight or pour. This is the closest brewery to my house and I'm sure I'll return as new items appear on the menu.

This place is huge! It was definitely a surprise how spacious it is, especially for it being in downtown Bordentown. The bar area is quite large and there are many hightop tables and regular tables. There's even a couple of sofas in the front that are perfect for relaxed intimate conversation or people watching on Farnsworth. If you need more to do, they have two dartboards, a bowling game, monster Jenga, and a good amount of board games. As for the beer, they have a decent selection. Definitely not the largest variety though. Half of the menu consist of IPAs. I tried about 8 different beers and they were all pretty good. Even the IPAs were good and I'm usually not a fan of them. Lastly, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed conversing with them. All in all, this place exceeded my expectations by far and I will definitely visit them again the next time I'm in the area.

Pretty cool place with some tasty beers. We were already planning to be nearby so we added this to our day. I will say that I was a bit bummed out that they didn't have the Banana Wheat on tap (noticed afterwards on website it is seasonal, my mistake) or the Mango IPA (this one falls on them because it's listed on the website as a regular). One of our all-time favorite beers is a Banana Wheat so we were bummed that wasn't on rotation but that's not their fault! They did offer a Peach IPA instead of the Mango but I didn't care much for it, but I do love Mango so I was really bummed to not be able to try it. We got their Wheat selection (forget the name), the Copper ale and the New England IPA. The IPA was very good, I enjoyed it very much. The Wheat was solid and the Copper Ale was okay - I preferred the IPA. I hope they put the Session back in rotation as the warmer months are coming up quickly. I think prices are a little on the high end for where we were, Bordentown. These are higher than the prices I pay at a local brewery at home in downtown Red Bank which is a much more expensive area. Idk $8 an IPA is a bit rich for me but we always like to check put new breweries and certainly understand the price point for a small brewery. Overall, glad we came to check it out and might be back if the Banana Wheat & Mango IPA are on tap.

What an awesome local spot. Tindall Road, if nothing else, has a rockstar staff. The folks who ran the place when we stopped in simultaneously made us feel at home and comfortable. The tent set up feels like it belongs here and almost makes you forget there is a ban on indoor bars and restaurants. They had a great rotation going this past Saturday, and we were lucky enough to get to try a few different kinds. For me the wheat beer (Steppenwolf's) was the winner, and if you can only go for a single pick its probably the way to go. The indoor scene looked like it would be a great spot to hang if it were open (passed through to use the restroom), and as we have a buddy who lives down the street, I'm sure we will get a chance to check it out one day. All in all, this is a great spot in an awesome little town. If you find yourself in Bordentown stop by and say hey (BYO pizza from up the block).

    Many to taste!

We stumbled in here for a cheer up after a tough soccer tournament loss at the finals... And we ended up staying for a couple hours tasting all the interesting and delicious craft beers and playing some really fun bar games. Some very special IPAs - unlike anything I have ever tasted. Def worth a trip. The vibe is cool and easy. Super clean and familiar. The staff was great and really personalble. They went out of their way to show our boys the games and make them feel comfortable. They were helpful with suggestions for the local places where we could order food. Go a bit out of your way for a pitstop here...you won't be sorry!

1st time checking out Bordentown and of course had to stop in at this brewery. Lots of street parking in the area... maybe at peak times might take you some time. Plenty of seating when we came on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted quickly! Bartender was Ryan... he was great and gave us some suggestions based on what we normally drink. Unfortunately no flights buttttt they at least offered to let us sample the beers to taste before committing :-) I always appreciate great beer names.. there was one in particular called Boats n Hoes (Stepbrothers movie if you don't know so don't get offended). That beer was just ok tho.. nothing spectacular. BUTTTTT there was one called Expresso Thai Chili Stout... and that was good even on this summer day! Had a little kick but nothing that lingered and was overwhelming. I really enjoyed it! If it didn't fill me up too quickly, I would have gotten another.. but it was hot I was a one and done lol. Looks like they have a great selection and always have something new to add to the mix. This time around they had a Christmas flavored one for their Christmas and July theme.. so that was a popular brew that was running low. Nice place to stop in and try... and of course Bordentown is another little town to come check out as they've got a number of restaurants in walking distance to try out! Will definitely be back as it's not too far from me.

I was able to park on the street about two blocks away and amble over to Naked Brewing Bristol Taproom. Short walk. Beautiful day. The brewery is mid-block on the west side of the street, looking its age as a late 19th Century enterprise. Bar in back. Tables up front and to the side, with wall shelves and stools for the sometimes SRO crowd. Live music in the basement from local bands. I sat at the bar, served by several lovelies who were in total control and set the vibe. I went with a 7 oz Mango Starfighter was a slightly sour/sweet beer with turmeric coloration. Liked it. But, what drew me to Naked was their collaboration with Cheese Dawgs who ran the kitchen with a primary menu of creative hot dogs at reasonable prices. Burgers, salads and sandwiches were likewise available. I chose their Philly Dog (mustard, pepper hash, onions) and New England (Boston baked beans). Both were tasty, fun and drip worthy. The frankfurters weren't all beef, but they were good enough. The rolls held their contents, but for the over abundance of ingredients spilling over the top. I asked for a spoon to handle that, and a server promptly obliged with a smile. But for the absence of tater tots and fries, I would have preferred an Italian Hot Dog, but it was a very busy day, and I wouldn't hold that against them for running out of some supplies. I had a decent conversation with both another customer and the beermaids, so all in all it was a pleasant and delicious afternoon. 5 Naked Stars for this surprisingly comfortable beer hall

Hard to tell exactly when it opened, as their website offers scant information, but they first started posting on Facebook in 2011 if that is anything to go by. They don't have a large footprint in the NJ brewing scene as they don't distribute to any liquor stores or bars/restaurants (they don't even offer beers in cans to go), and they don't do any big events other than the typical karaoke or trivia nights. What they do offer is a nice place to hang out in an old historic building right on the Main Street in the downtown area, and a solid lineup of beers. One thing that makes them stand out is a great selection of beers on nitro. From my experience with NJ breweries, you're lucky to find a single beer on nitro. At Village Idiot there are seven of them, most of them dessert stouts like a cookie butter white stout and a salted caramel milk stout. All that we tried were delicious and not crazy high in ABV like other dessert stouts. Flights are only $10 which is pretty cheap compared to other NJ breweries. Of note is that as of November 2025 they no longer allow outside drinks including water bottles like Nalgenes and Stanley Cups. Too many idiots sneaking in alcohol, according to their social media. Overall it has a bit more of a dive bar vibe only frequented by locals rather than a traditional NJ brewery, but the beer is definitely good enough, and the surrounding Main Street charming and quaint enough that I would definitely return.

When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday.
