My wife and I were recently in these neck of the woods and we stopped in here for a little bit, with some solid suds results. You see, my wife doesn't partake in the brews (Invertase did have a root beer available, just for those curious), so this was solely a stop for me and something I wanted to do quickly. Luckily, despite the crowdedness of the place, Invertase had a few spots by the end of their bar area that we were able to grab while I sipped on a flight of four brews. Before diving further into those beer options, I'll say Invertase definitely had its fill of people on a Friday night, but that makes sense being the only place really in the area that was making its own beer. The interior seemed clean and had that "brewery feel", especially with the acoustic guitar man playing at the front. The people behind the bar were also pretty friendly which is always nice and not necessarily a given everywhere you go. Stuck on what to get to round out my flight, I was given a suggestion or two that helped complete things (and it was a mighty fine suggestion I might add!). Now jumping into those brews and what was available, Invertase definitely checks many boxes with a nice mixture of classic and eclectic options. Case in point: the Snowscape winter warmer was on point, while the Notes From Mom PB&J sour was...interesting. I can't say I hated it, though I'm not sure I could see myself drinking a full pint. Other brews looked and sounded good as well with a total of 10 options available. Not too shabby. Overall, Invertase Brewing definitely has a strong hold on the beer scene in this area (easy when they're the only guys in town!). They show some creativity in options while also delivering some classic beer style choices as well. Though nothing necessarily jumped out at me as worthy of cans (they had some available), I'd still venture to say I'd gladly return in the future if I find myself in these parts again. Well, I may be pigeonholed here anyway if they're still the only brewery in Lambertville!

Founded in 2019 by a family trio: son Stephen (who holds a degree in mechanical engineering), father Steve (a biochemist) and mother Karen (a microbiologist). The word 'invertase' is the name of the enzyme used to break down sucrose. Together they bring a scientist's precision to the brewing process. My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon in March after wandering around Lambertville for a bit. The taproom has a nice sized parking lot. The taproom itself was about a third full, rather plainly decorated, and there was a guy off to the side selling hotdogs and walking nachos. My girlfriend and I each tried a flight from a taplist of ten different beers. The flights were served in red plastic baskets, the kind you would get at a fast food place, which was certainly an interesting choice.... Most of what we tried was decent, nothing exciting, but the real standout to me was the Winter Dreamz. 8% winter warmer with all the right notes of vanilla, lactose, orange, cinnamon. Definitely unlike any other winter ale I've ever had - in a good way. Our two flights, after tax and tip, came to $36.06, which is definitely on the higher side for flights at NJ breweries. Overall a nice place with nice people and good beer, one that we would return to.

My boyfriend did like the Godzilla beer (I know this is not the name, but there was Godzilla on the can)! I'm not sure if they always have cocktails but I went with the themed Goji Blood and well it was drinkable but honestly very gross. The event set up was nice. There however, isn't a ton of parking in the front - maybe there's more in the back. They had a lot of vendors and food trucks which was also cool. I will be back if they have any other cool events- which hopefully they do!

I brought Drusband for my birthday and the next week I brought my 2 best friends. Each time it lives up to the hype due to the friendliness of the staff and the tastiness of the beer. I was extra delighted last Sunday when I met up with my besties on their way back from PA to their home in Long Island. There's nothing my friends love more than books and beer so to finally be at the place where I enjoy both was very nice. They brought their 11yo daughter who also had a good time. It seemed like half of book club was there too lol which to me says a lot about this place - people CHOOSE to come here even when they don't "have" to. Special shout to owner Billy and bartender Nicole. I am typically quite introverted and due in part to them and others they work with I feel quite at home and talkative. I love it here! I love the staff because each one was sweet and friendly. BUT I didn't like the flavor of my drinks. I got a fight and was happy that they give 8 oz pours but they just didn't taste good. Also, I asked for the sangria but she gave me the Frose. The only promising one was the Passionfruit Orange Guava hard cider. I would go back because, like I said, I love the vibe, but I'm gonna try the sangria next time.

At the time we went, they could only pour flights, and they are hoping to offer full pours in glasses soon. Nomad distills bourbon, whiskey, brandy, and their famous moonshines. The moonshine comes in fun flavors like apple pie, sweet tea, root beer, and a few more! They also have a water bowl out front and a beautiful sign on the window that says Dogs Welcome. Mike hand picked all of the beer out, boxed them, added two beer glasses, a Fathers Day card, and delivered it for us! I know this was a huge exception. I'm blown away at the service, kindness, great taste in beer and going the extra mile with buying a greeting card. Tremendous gratitude to the staff and this place! All. Of. The. Beer…read more I've never been so happily overwhelmed in my life. I could spend hours in here just looking at all the options. From seriously obscure to Bud Light, they truly have it all. My wife and I ventured here in search of stuff to drink over the weekend and not only found more than what we wanted, but we could pick a couple chilled brews and drink them on site. They have a little hangout area with TVs. Not sure about their food rules, but if I can bring a pizza in here, grab a beer from their fridge and watch a game, I would come here...often. The staff was friendly, their have their own parking. The whole experience was fantastic. Obviously coming back. Probably this week.

They have a variety to choose from for all tastes. We opted for some hummus, salad, the charcuterie, and pizza during our visit. Absolutely loved the Nutella pizza when it came out hot and fresh from their oven - it was the perfect way to end a day at the winery. The scenery is also beautiful! Such a great way to spend time outdoors on a weekend or summer day.
