Miraculously, they found a whole bunch of other things that needed work that wasn't mentioned at all during the last oil change just 5000 miles before, done at the same dealership. Their quote to complete all that work was just under $7000, with just 1 "photo". I work in auto insurance and know car parts and that photo was so close you could barely tell what "damage" there was. I also didn't appreciate that the service advisor talked down to me like I was completely clueless. Took it to Roberto at Diego's and he took a look at everything Toyota claimed. He also took a look at the work Toyota claimed they did. He allowed you to actually look at everything he was pointing out so you could actual confirm everything he was saying needed to be fixed. Some of the work Toyota claimed they did was either not done at all or not done well and should be redone. Also, some of the work Toyota claimed was completely false and showed you exactly why. After his review my amount went down to less than $2000 to fix my car. Much more affordable and I actually believe him and he explained enduring without talking down to me. In all my years of dealing with automotive shops, I have never encountered someone with such poor customer service. There's a lot of competition in this industry, and finding a trusted mechanic is important to me. When I find a good shop, I'm loyal for life and I recommend them to everyone I know. But this experience? Absolutely not. If this is how they treat someone who is willing to pay for their services, it speaks volumes about their overall character. I've worked in customer service my entire life, and I firmly believe it's not always what you say -- it's how you say it. His condescending attitude was completely unnecessary and honestly disgusting. If you don't want to deal with customers, then get out of the customer service field. Simple as that. I then had to take it to the dealership, where I was given a repair estimate of $2,134.71, including replacing the cooling fan assembly and a broken hood release cable. I also believe my hood release cable was damaged while my vehicle was at their shop, leaving me unable to open the hood. When I tried to contact them about it, they wouldn't answer my calls or messages, and it appears they've blocked my number. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. I paid hundreds of dollars and still had to take my vehicle somewhere else to have the real problem diagnosed and repaired.

Travelling enroute to California, our RV was having power issues just outside Vegas, and after…read morechecking all the so-called "great" reviews, we decided to get towed to the Auto Medic location in Henderson. First off, they're not 24 hours. We had to wait overnight at their shop to be seen. They performed a diagnostic, which took several hours, as the tech had to keep asking "Siri" about the engine, and how to perform certain tests. HUH?! They finally determined that our fuel injectors were toast, and as they couldn't just get parts for it, they would all need to be rebuilt. A couple of weeks and about $10,000 they said! They suggested we stay at an RV Park and they would come out the next day to start the process of removing the fuel injectors. Well, they didn't call, didn't show. But it was a damn good thing. We got the name of a recommended RV Service Centre in Vegas and took it there for their diagnostic. Nothing wrong with our engine or the fuel injectors. Just a sensor miscommunication. An absolute nightmare was averted because they didn't bother to show up. Thank God. They were ready to outright scam us on this "problem". If they took those injectors out, we'd still be there. After getting the all-clear from a reputable company, we continued on.. eventually driving over 6,000 miles without a fuel injector problem. They do not know what they are doing .. stay away!!! Especially if you're RVers passing through. They will take you $$$$.
