We've been regulars at this Cinemark since getting the membership, at least 3-4 visits a month. The membership made us spend more: we go bigger on tickets, splurge on the large refillable popcorn and drinks, and it's been worth it because the refill deal helped make movies more affordable. This weekend was the first time we came in for an early showing. That's when manager Trinity stopped us at the counter and said popcorn refills are "same-day only." When we explained we didn't know that, and asked politely if she could just let it slide once, she refused. No exception, no flexibility, no customer care. Instead, she treated us like we were trying to scam the theater. Here's the kicker: the rule only ever punishes early customers. If you buy popcorn later in the day and watch another movie that night, the refill works fine. But show up the next morning? Suddenly you're a thief. That's selective enforcement, not consistency. If Trinity had chosen goodwill, refilled the popcorn, explained the rule, and asked us not to do it again, we'd be more loyal than ever. Instead, we left insulted, carrying an empty popcorn tub and empty drink, questioning why we even bother with a membership that's supposed to reward loyalty. So here's the truth: if you want to avoid this problem, never come to an early show expecting your refill. Stick to later movies, and the rule magically disappears. That's the hack. The prices are expensive but the pizza and popcorn are fresh. The seats have heaters and can recline and retract but there's always a group of people who just laugh really loud and talk the whole time but pros and cons so it's a pass or @ss! read more

The concession was extremely slow and after two attempts to endure the turnstile line I went to the bar attendant with no line. He stood idle. I asked if I could buy a Coke. He said it's against policy. Only alcohol. So I tried the water fountain on my way to the movie now starting. It was not functional. Affordable, family friendly entertainment. Tinseltown movies is conveniently located off the highway very accessible. I've been here so many times I can't count. I love to go during the week while everyone is working the theatres are clean and quiet! A few years ago they did a massive update on seats and carpets. I've never had a problem here. Today my popcorn is cold but that's an easy fix. I returned it and waited for fresh popped corn! The parking is well lit and the people are friendly. Watching Dr. Strange at 10 am on Saturday morning. All is normal (the popcorn is terribly stale and clearly left over from the previous day), when the movie suddenly stops and the ACTIVE SHOOTER ALARM goes off! Bright flashing lights and a loud klaxon alarm, with a voice telling us to evacuate to the nearest exit. I stand up and tell my son we are going. We head to the exit, which dumps us in the west parking lot -- our car is parked in the east parking lot. As I turn the corner, I am afraid I will be shot -- but at least I'm protecting my son. We race to the car and get ready to leave, when I notice a woman sitting in the ticket booth, like nothing is wrong. I tell my son to wait in the car, and I quickly walk to the ticket booth. My heart is POUNDING. I can't breathe. She tells me it is a false alarm and to go back into the movie!!! She is not apologetic. She doesn't seem to care at all. I tell her I want my money back. She calls for the manager, who never arrives -- so we (begrudgingly) go back into the theater... The movie starts. We watch about 3 minutes more of the movie, and the ACTIVE SHOOTER ALARM goes off again! We exit the theater again, and we are again dumped in the parking lot. The fantasy of the movie is completely destroyed. We never saw the end of Dr Strange -- we just got in our car and left. To recap: 1 star for TWO (2) ACTIVE SHOOTER ALARMS during our movie. 1 star for nobody at the theater caring they nearly gave me a heart attack for the super stressful situation they created. 1 star for the stale, nasty popcorn. I had never been to Tinsel Town so I had no real expectations other than I hoped it would be clean. My wife and I decided to end my Tinsel Town drought and decided to see a matinee. The prices are great. It was so nice not to have to dig deep into the pocketbook for movie tickets. The theatre itself, or at least the one we were in, was exceptionally clean. The sound in the theatre was acoustically spot on and the screen was in good condition. I'm not opposed to going back for another matinee given that Tinsel Town surpassed my expectations! read more

*Gasp!!!* - that was me a month ago when I bit the bullet and went here on a friends suggestion after living here for almost a decade and was shook. I was told too many bad things about this theatre and I am so mad at myself that I listened because this place is AMAZING. Such a cheap place, but still great quality all around. Firstly, I believe this may be the only theatre in the metro where tribal members are allowed to sell movie gear like shirts and jackets which is super awesome. Secondly, we went for an early screening of Aquaman and not only was the ticket cheap for 3D, but it INCLUDED a free popcorn and pin with each ticket. Yeah, I said included. Whereas every other theatre will upcharge every chance they get on every accessory. Definitely surprised with the quality of the seats, sound system, customer service, and location. If it wasn't a 30min drive from my house, this would be my regular theatre. I've already been back a bunch since my awakening watching Aquaman. My only complaint would be that the bathrooms could use a proper cleaning, but not bad. read more

Okay so aside from the awesome seats, yummy popcorn and reasonably prices of tickets, I only have an issue with the customer service. I have been going to Tinseltown more frequently and every time I have went, there's this specific girl that works and she always has an attitude! She has curly hair and wears glasses. The last time I went, she seemed as if she didn't want to do her job and was unhappy. I always try to be understanding and polite but I did not appreciate the way she had reacted when she was asked to help make a hotdog AFTER she was just only making popcorn for a guest! I went on a Wednesday and it was not so busy, pretty calm. But also when the times are busy, wait times are long and the workers seem unorganized, walking around as if they have no clue what's going on and not paying attention to guests when they arrive at the counter. When we are visiting my in laws, I always hope we will venture to this theatre. True story: I had only seen one movie in theaters in the last year: Cars 3... Located in what is now known as the Adventure District and has an undeserved reputation for drawing a rough crowd. It's actually a well-maintained and fun facility with an amazing price point. We have seen 3D movies with the enhanced D-Box where the chairs move for the same price as a regular movie. This is by far our favorite theater for our family of four! read more

So often I have gotten stuck behind loud people and cannot move because I might be taking someone else's spot. Some people dislike this movie theater because of the location but this is my favorite place to go. It is cheap and has a lot of great movie choices. Some of the more popular theaters needs some seats replaces but they are still good. I went this weekend to see Avengers and they had a ton of showings. Luckily I got there an hour in advance and got great seats, even on opening weekend. Parking lot is huge and you will always have a place to park. read more

Low cost theatre in OKC. Very cheap and, for the price, worth it. They have some XD and 3D options as well as an interactive theatre experience called Dbox (which I have not tried). Concessions are the typical with really no difference in quality than most theatres. They inside is not as fancy as some me of the newer multiplexes that are trying to bring a red carpet experience. Sometimes a little dirty inside, but most of the time it is fairly clean. Seats are moderately comfortable. read more

They were professional, everything was clean and the experience was one we haven't had in a theater for a very long time.
