I called tint world three times to get an estimate on my tint, and racing stripe. I had to call back many times before that, bc the owner was the only person that could I get the estimate from. I received the same quote both times!! I decided to go up there in person bc some reviews that I saw said that the estimate would change.. THEY WERE RIGHT! In person, my estimate was about $500 higher. They don't do racing stripes like they said... They have to contract out to do it. Tint world is a rip off! If I could give "No Stars" I honestly would. The manager, Daniel, does not care about his customers one bit. I had called the store asking about do you take virtual Visa cards and the accounts payable woman that works their could not verify that they do. I understand that that because she is not the owner and does not want to get wrapped up in a situation, so she directs me to the manager. After talking with Daniel he expresses that he CAN do the virtual visa he just has to be there. So we set up a meeting for him and I to be at the Charlotte store. Which is on Valentines Day. After I get off work on Wednesday (Valentines Day) at 5pm, I get ready to drive to Tint World. Something told me to call to make sure Daniel was going to be there. Make a long story short the Manager left to store early, at least that is what the accounts payable lady told me. She tells me that the manager will be back the next day at 8am. WHO DOES THAT!!!!!???? I am LIVID because the manager ruined my Valentine's Day. We agreed on us meeting so I can use my virtual visa. It was about $100. I asked the account lady to leave Daniel a message. I expressed how angry I was and that he needs to call me ASAP. Fast forward 2 Days later, no call. So I made it a mission to give him a call. I got a hold of the manager. I told him my name and he act like he didn't know who I was. Then he goes to say "I vaguely remember our conversation and I normally write down appointments that I suppose to have but I didn't write yours down. I am a very busy man and I jump from office to office, and for me to do a virtual visa i am going to have to get authorization from corporate ." If that was the case, you should have told me that the day before. Excuse my French but THAT POOR FUCKING MANAGEMENT!!! As a client you make it a point to go above and beyond to make them happy. You basically said my life is more important than yours. He then tried to smooth it over with a $25 gift card. No No No! That's not how you do things. You should have apologized first instead of last. This place deserves 1 star not 2. Anyone who is reading this.....do yourself a favor and go to another tint shop. They do not care about their customers on but and Daniel, that so call "manager", needs to get his self together and make his clients a priority. We keep your business afloat. read more

My sister bought me a gift certificate and I was so excited to get the windows tinted on my car. When I went in, I explained what type of car I had and the owner even gave me a discount on an upgrade. When the tint was completed the front and side windows were perfect which is why I gave then 2 stars instead of 1. However, my back window was a mess. They explained that because of the dot matrix they weren't able to put the tint on the same way as the other windows. Without consulting me they went ahead and cut lines in the tint but it was cut sloppily and crooked. I had to take my car back for them to redo but it still looked bad. I wish they would have been upfront with me from the beginning and explained the issues with the dot matrix. read more

Took my new car to Tint World to add tint. If I'll be honest, I felt suckered from the beginning (all my fault) for the sales pitch, but I gave in and agreed to get my car tinted with "the best" tint; although I believed it was still too expensive. Nonetheless, after it was completed I was told that since my BMW had some "dot matrix" on the edges of my windows, the tint wouldn't settle like the remaining glass right away. I was told by the fast talking pimp "front desk guy" it would take a few days to settle. The guy who actually applied it said a few weeks. SO I CAME BACK IN A FEW WEEKS, because it hadn't settled! Not the pimp at the front desk says, "oh that won't go away" ITS THE SAME UNSETTLED TRIM!! I'm now told to come back tomorrow when the owner is there. My goal st this point is to get it removed and have my money returned to me. I WOULDN'T TRUST THEM, the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing. THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR RESOLVE. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone at this point. Let's see how they resolve my issue because at this point it's nothing but lies and misleading business. I have not spoken to the owner yet, so my bad experience so far has simply been with the workers! read more

My Corvette is often judged at car shows and has drawn praise from many car show judges. I always get asked , "Who does your Tint"? when I go to these car shows . Proof enough that Daniel and his staff do a car show quality work ! read more

Sad to say, I agree with the other one star reviews. Do not take your car here. I paid for lifetime tiny replacement. The car tint started peeling off after less than 2 years. Called to get that repaired and was told "sorry, we've changed our systems, so we have no record of your service." When I noted that I had the key fob or other documentation, I was told: well, if you can find the original receipt we might be able to do something. "Might"? Also, the tint on my other car is purely factory and doesn't look like they added any tiny to the front windows. Look, if you go, you might get decent service. But you go at your own risk! read more

Find another place!!! I went to TW Saturday August 6 2016 to get the ultimate package plus the front windshield. After leaving my car, the manager (Jamal) lied to me saying that they could not do the front windshield b/c the film wouldnt stick after two attempts. Ican prove that this is not true because my oil change stickers and the dealership sticker along with an old oil smudge was still on the windshield when i picked up the car, thes would have been removed if they had actually tried to apply the tint like they claimed. It was revealed to me that a VIP showed up and they pushed my car to the side and rushed the rear window leaving bubbles all through.
