To whom it may concern, I came in on 11/14/22 at 9:00 AM for my appointment to get a Viper (5906v) alarm and a few sensors installed on my 2013 Dodge Durango and after talking to Aaron the manager at the 6331 South Blvd location in Charlotte, NC he agreed to a total of $511 labor cost including chrome delete on two door bottom trims $75 each. After several days of them putting it off and telling me "It would be done before the end of the day today" I decided to stop by in person and see what exactly the delay was. They informed me the car was not starting due to a bad starter and that it was "not their fault" it wasn't working. However the car was starting normal when I first drove it to Tint World. The issue most likely could have been caused by them not wiring properly and causing a loop in the remote start that causes the car to start and shut off non stop and therefore damaging the starter. I decided to call my mechanic so he could take a look at the starter. He deemed it in fact in non working condition and replaced the part within 1 hour at my cost. Still the car wouldn't turn over. To our surprise, Aaron and Jon connected a wire directly to one of the fuel injectors causing the engine to get completely flooded with fuel. The mechanic relayed to me that this was preventing the car from starting and he went ahead and drained all of the gas with a suction pump, attempted to start the car again, this time It would start but it would shut off almost right away. I came with my vehicle running and starting just fine and the manager Aaron and his crew denied ANY and ALL responsibility for what they did to my vehicle. They told me the owner was out of town and that corporate told them to tell me they would not be helping me in any way whatsoever. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed at Tint World and it's management: (Aaron) and the owner: (Marc) who never even reached out to me to hear my concern. After doing my research and thinking I would be in good hands at your establishment, it ended up being a complete nightmare costing me $511 for an installation that was not only done improperly but caused further damage to my vehicle which then caused me to spend hundreds of dollars more. I request a refund immediately of the installation fee ($511) and the payment of the services and parts that were necessary to fix what they damaged. In addition, I will be filing a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Please reach out to me with a solution to this problem as soon as possible as I have been without my vehicle for one week and your store refuses to do anything to fix the situation and or compensate me. read more

I have had my Genesis Coupe for a little while now and have wanted to get my windows tinted but was unsure of what I wanted and frankly haven't had the time. But while out shopping came across Tint World, went online, put my info in requesting a quote and information and within a few hours I had everything I needed to make a wise decision. Then called in spoke to Rubin, who was extremely nice and helpful both over the phone and in person, and made my appointment for that day. Upon arrival I really didn't know what kind of tint I wanted I just knew I wanted it to look good and have some privacy. When I got there Rubin and Daniel helped me with letting me sit in their own vehicle to see what different tint would actually look like because I was having a hard time deciding. I finally made a decision but mostly because I trusted what they (Rubin and Daniel) suggested because remember people THEY are the PERFESSIONALS! I will definitely trust them in the future with any of my vehicle needs because they do ALOT more than just tint as I saw while we were there. By the way they also did my Hubby's Jeep Commander tint while we were there because his front 2 windows didn't have tint on them but the others did and they match it up PERFECTLY! During my recent experience with this company, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of honesty, integrity, and professionalism displayed. After initially receiving feedback on my review, Zack called me and instead of addressing my concerns, he immediately sided with the salesman, claiming I had been shown examples of the tint and a price board--neither of which happened. Rather than acknowledging my perspective or investigating the matter further. Zack questioned why I waited a couple of weeks to voice my complaint and write a review. I have a busy schedule, being a full-time premed student and full-time employee. Zach approach felt dismissive and unprofessional, placing blind faith in the salesman instead of addressing a customer's genuine concerns. If integrity were a priority, they would have reviewed the footage to verify my account. Instead, their handling of the situation reflected a lack of transparency and respect for their customers. This type of dishonesty and unprofessionalism is something I cannot overlook and that's why I wrote this 2nd review. I will not be doing business with Tint World again and will be spending my money somewhere else to get the tint I desire. read more

We had 3 cars tinted and Tint World did an excellent job! The owner went out of his way to make everything so convenient. He picked up my car for me since I work nearby... I didn't even have to drop it off or wait for it. The owner is very down to earth and honest... prices were great! read more

I needed some LED lights installed on my Jeep and the guys over at Tint World did an amazing job. They were quick and their customer service was great. Ask for Ruben if you need anything LED wired, he was able to use all of my LED strips, which I did not think was going to be possible. read more
