I called Tint World because I needed to get my windows tinted. A gentleman on the phone quoted me a price that I was happy with, so I made an appointment to bring my car in. When I arrived, I spoke to a man at the front desk and explained again what I wanted. However, he quoted me a different price that was significantly higher. Although I was frustrated, I decided to proceed with the service since I had rearranged my schedule and had someone drop me off. After two hours, I returned to pick up my car, only to discover that the price had increased even more. When I inquired about the increase, I was informed that the quoted price was for each window, not for all of them. This left me even more confused, as I had specifically asked for the price for all of the windows. The whole situation felt strange. All I can say is that if you're going to take your car there, make sure you do your homework and ask lots of questions. EDIT after store response: The repair center acknowledged the condensation, not water damage, as well as the fact that is was not installed to protect from AC. In fact, I shared this with Steve. You talked to me ONCE, at the beginning of April. How about the 3 other calls I left you, or the email I sent, that you didn't respond to? I missed ONE appointment with you, on 8/22 to reinstall my radio. At this point, I had already been waiting 4 weeks for my stereo, and 10 days of that was Steve telling me it was done, but he didn't have time to pick it up. HE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO PICK UP A RADIO FOR AN EXISTING CUSTOMER, AND I WAITED 10 ADDITIONAL DAYS FOR MY RADIO, to then find out you wanted to charge me to reinstall the repeat repair. I didn't intend to miss the appointment, but I also couldn't wait for another time for Steve to be "un-busy" enough to pick up my completed repair. What about Steve forgetting to call me back for 2 weeks? What about him telling me he couldn't pick up my radio for a week because he had other customers with appointments? I was ALREADY a customer; not new to your business. I didn't ask him to prioritize me, but to pickup my radio when it was done. Please don't come at me with your suggestion that you were trying to help. That you made multiple offers. You didn't help. And you didn't try. And you SURELY didn't offer options, other than me spending another $1000+ for a new radio to replace the one I had bought 15 months earlier. You offered to send it off to the repair center and share the cost with me, and you DID NOT. Your service sucks, and so does your response. ---------------------------------------------------- This is what my stereo looks like after a $2,000 install from Tint World. Won't ever go back and you shouldn't, either. Also be aware - all the positive reviews are from their previous staff, JC and Ray, not their current staff. Yesterday, I walked out of their business without having my stereo reinstalled, after 4 months of going round and round with them to repair my non-functioning stereo system. They removed my stereo July 24 for the second time, and the store guy, Steve, was "too busy" (his words) to go get it for me when the second repair was completed. I was having multiple issues with the radio shutting off within my 1-year warranty, but took it to them after the warranty expired in January (didn't realize that). Showed them pics of what was happening. After pleading my case because the issues happened in warranty, the owner, Michelle, offered to "work with me on the repair cost", so long as it wasn't water damaged. Well, of course they came back and said it was, even though the repair technician told me it wasn't. He suggested it could have been from the AC vent (condensation). They replaced the logic board, so they said. I paid $139 to have it "repaired", after she offered to help cover the cost, but didn't. One month later, I had to have it removed again for the same issue. I went to the store and Steve let me know that he would have to call the repair shop and get back to me. When I called him two weeks later for follow up, he said, "oh yeah, I forgot about you. Bring it by and we'll have to send it back in". So I did, and they removed it and sent off for "repair" for a second time (within the 90-day warranty Steve told me I had). So Wednesday I go to get it installed, and Steve won't install it because I didn't have an appointment. Not only that, but while I sat in their store, he helped two customer that walked in after me and wouldn't even make eye contact with me. They also have a sign outside that says, "No Mask, No Service" , yet he proceeded to help two customers in front of me without masks. No mention of them not wearing them at all. I make an appt, go back yesterday for reinstall, and they want to charge me $69 to reinstall the radio they had to remove to repair. Their claim, spoken by the owner, Michelle, is that they're "trying to help me" with a water-damaged radio, even though the repair technician told me it wasn't water damaged. Their suggestion is that because I have a Jeep where I can remove the top, it has to have been rained on. Another "firmware" update to my non-working radio, yet again. I haven't even been able to see whether it works now, because I wasn't paying them another dime for my system. My recommendation is that you DO NOT use Tint World, ever. The owners, Michelle and Todd, haven't returned my calls. I asked Steve yesterday to call her while I was there so I could speak to her, and she was "too busy" to speak to me. I heard her on the phone tell him that. What cowards. Don't bother responding here, Michelle, if you can't pick up the phone and actually talk to your customers. Your business offers poor customer service and your team is RUDE. As long as you allow this type of service, I'll be sure everyone I know - in the Jeep and Harley communities, and otherwise - know not to use your services. read more

The tiniting I had on my car was old and peeling. Decided to go to Tint World since they are country wide and offer a lifetime warranty. Had to pay extra to have the old tint removed but expected that. I also knew what I wanted when I got there. They through in the windshield strip and gave me a military discount, sweet! Dropped off the car the night before then picked it up the next day. They did a great job with the tinting and the car does stay much cooler. My only real complaint is I kept finding pieces of both the old and new tinting in the car. I really wish they would have cleaned up better than they did. Awful experience. I took my Raptor and Porsche there for them to do a ceramic coating on. Both cars ceramic coting wore off inside of 8 months. I tried to get in touch with them and I was told, they are too busy to look at it and after repeated tries over period of 2 weeks to speak to someone that could at least look at the car, I got the same run around. I will be taking them to court. Save yourself a lot of headache and definitely a lot of money (coating for the 2 cars cost about $3K). DO NOT USE these people. read more

We were quoted a price for the supreme package for tinting.$250.00. They told us we could have different tint levels on the windshield, front windows and back. When we came in to have it done they repeated the package price. When we go to pay, they quote $150.00 more and say that we had the windshield done for an extra $150.00. When I raised my voice the owner came out and ultimately made good on quoted price, but I say buyer beware. There was no sign at all saying the windshield wasn't part of the package and two salesmen never said a word. Plus an extra $5.00 nonsense charge. It seems like a disrespectful and dishonest practice to not tell people the cost up front. read more

Purchased Groupon deal of car wash and interior vacuum and saved on the ultimate tint package. All together came out to about $300 and added windshield tint strip. Not sure how much Sun/heat the more expensive tints prevent from entering the car, but is advertised. Tints have been in for about 3 months now, no peeling or visible damage. They did a great job installing the tints. I wasnt able to get my car wash due to weather, so they said I can bring it back. Main guy at the front desk was nice, name was either John or Mike I think (sorry). Lifetime warranty is a nice feature. read more

They jammed my gear shifter and car would not go into gear when I picked it up... One of their employees hit it, or forced it and jammed it . It was perfectly fine when I dropped it off. I had to have it towed...Gear shifter had to be replaced and I'm still awaiting reimbursement for $500.00 repair...DON'T GO HERE!!!! read more

Very happy with the window tint. They got me in at the end of the day. I have driven past this shop thousands of times and it wasn't until I needed a car insurance inspection did I have reason to stop in. Then with the intense sun - driving east in the morning, I decided that it was urgent to get some minimal tinting done at least. Only "complaint" they did not mention the shop fee in the price quote. It was $3 - not much, but mentioning this fee would have been nice. This was for a tint strip only. I don't know what the fee would be for full windows or more. Make sure you ask about that. read more
