Requested window tinting for my Tesla. Scott said they don't tint Tesla windows because they're not built very well. (Best car I've ever had, and at 60, I've had a few.) regardless, we're talking about tinting glass, not evaluating the car's overall build quality. Scott did a great job with my tinted windows! I was very impressed by the amount of time he took with removing my old tint and adding on the new one. My car looks great! He also offered free lifetime repairs if there's bubbling or anything damage on the tint. I was charged $300 with taxes to do my side windows and the back window. I didn't do the front window but I did ask for a strip on the top of the windshield to block off the sunlight when I'm driving. This place was recommended to me by a friend who has had two of his vehicles tinted here. Contacted Scott via telephone to make an appointment. He was able to book me for the following day @ 4pm, which was the soonest that I could make it. Scott was extremely personable and took the time to explain the different tints available and even showed me an example of a finished product on a vehicle. I waited in the lobby, knowing that it could take about an hour or so. Scott took the time needed to finish the job successfully and went past the close time of 5pm. Once it was finished, he explained all about the lifetime warranty for as long as I own the vehicle. He also explained how to care for the tint for the next several days and even for a two week period and that if I noticed anything that didn't look right to give him a call or stop back in. I'm going with five stars based on the ease of scheduling, being ready to go at my appointment time, having a waiting area with A/C, water and wifi, and doing what appears to be an excellent install job on my four door sedan. I chose to use Bayou due to the fact that Scott has been doing this for a long time, and at this location for a long time. Most tint shops offer a 'lifetime warranty', but when the place is boarded up a year after you get the work done, your warranty just became worthless. Scott offers a lifetime warranty, and given how long he's been here, all I really have to worry about is him retiring. I asked around amongst neighbors, compared prices, etc. and my choice was between Bayou and Window Kote, went with Bayou for scheduling reasons and the mostly great reviews. There's really not too much for me to say about a window tint install job; it's how it looks in a few years that really matter. I'll update my review if an issue ever surfaces and how it's dealt with at that time. I do want to point out that you can really tell the experience and skill Scott has by how he does the install. Most fancy newer tint shops that pop up everywhere seem to be run by someone who took an install class and then bought a large plotter (printer) with a laser print head. They feed a film roll in, type into the computer what kind of car it is, and the printer cuts the sheet into nice happy pieces the person just needs to slap on hopefully without screwing up. Inevitably they do mess up or just do poor work and close down. Scott did the cutting by hand and it came out perfect, no need for a computer program to tell him how to install tint. One other note; the brand of film he uses is "Yolo Window Film" which I hadn't heard of. I would have preferred a recognized name like 3M, but he guaranteed the ceramic film would not have electronic interference and then the lifetime warranty against cracking, peeling, bubbles, color changes, which I trust due to his longevity at this location. No issues so far. read more

If your picky about your car then DO NOT bring it here. He seemed like a nice guy but apparently he was having because he did not give a shit when he worked on my car. I asked for ceramic but he put on the regular carbon instead and said I pointed to the carbon even though I said CERAMIC, shouldn't of mattered where I pointed. After further inspection I can see deep scratches on my rear glass and he scratched the pillar above the rear door. The tint is mediocre, there's some windows that have tiny bubbles and I can see the dust in them, and the sun strip has tons of bubbles. The tint does have a warranty but I refuse to bring it back so he can fuck something else up. read more

Went here two days after buying a new car. Scott is nice and accomodating. The quality of the tinting job was good. However, the process of tint application was quite messy. The chemicals sprayed left streaks in the interior of the car and it won't come off. The heat gun also left a mark and damaged the plastic panel of the windows. After several days of trying to decide the what's and when's decided on Bayou. Go right by there 3 times a week and really never noticed the detailing part, noticed by Yelp reviews. At the time maybe 4 reviews and their being close thought why not. The idea is I would sit and wait as they have WIFI which I didn't use instead he offered to take me home, said no I'd wait but changed my mind on the day of the detail, not expected.
