Worked in grocery for 33 years so I notice the small things in many stores. So first it's clean and well stocked, we were greeted politely...always nice. At the deli counter we were promptly asked if we needed some help with a smile, order given and made my to the restrooms which were clean. Picked up our food and waited a short time in the line and quickly got checked out with a smile. We ate outside at one of the two tables provided. Oh yeah, the tri-tip sandwiches are really good. Last words...so easy.

You can't use a cart because it doesn't fit hardly anywhere in the store so you have to carry everything by hand. Corporate was already called but fails to do something about this. Makes me wonder what would happen if I were to get "hurt" by one of these overfilled, sloppy carts. This is such a danger to the general public and a fire hazard. The manager and employees hear multiple customers loudly complaining and do nothing. We just don't support this sloppy store anymore as do many others in the community

People were stopping in for pizza by the slice and other goodies. They also carry select home supplies, a few wines and beers, non alcoholic drinks, some jellies and jams that looked amazing.....ugh. Somehow, one store kept pulling us back, and that's Grocery Outlet. There are several reasons for that: (1) The store always looks clean and their shelves are well stocked. (2) 99% of the time, the checker welcomes you with a smile and wishes you a good day. (3) All the staff are trained well. (4) The music they play doesn't break your ear-drums. In fact, shoppers seem happy to hum or sing along, which breaks the ice and make shoppers appear happy. (5) They don't change things around unnecessarily so you know exactly which aisle to go to for the products you need. Overall, I think the owners have done a splendid job in training their staff, their music choice, and the environment they created.
