In just three short months we have seen so much growth in our toddler! He is talking a ton and is always excited to go to school. We are currently enrolled in their half day program from 8:30-12p Monday - Friday. The school offers healthy snacks and lunches daily and even supports in potty training which we are softly starting. As a "first-time" parent this is very valuable! The LPG community has a neighborhood vibe (not too big or too all business-feeling) and the faculty and staff are consistently communicative, friendly, and kind. If you're looking for a daycare with a thoughtful curriculum, screen-free environment, and engaging and warm community, consider Le Petit Gan!

The teachers are incredibly nurturing, attentive and genuinely invested in each child's growth and happiness. The nature based environment encourages creativity, exploration and love of learning, while the academic program provides a wonderful foundation for kindergarten. One of the things we appreciate most is how much emphasis is placed on the whole child. The children enjoy organic meals, hands on activities, gardening, music, movement and meaningful social-emotional learning experiences every day.our child has grown tremendously in confidence, independence and curiosity since attending.

The Staff Ms. Monica and Ms. Nancy have both been teaching at Yachay for over 8 years. That kind of consistency speaks volumes about the school's supportive environment, low turnover, and commitment to quality care and education. 2. Curriculum and SEL The school follows a clear scope and sequence for the year and thoughtfully integrates social-emotional learning into daily routines. For example, my son received a laminated "feelings chart" connected to read-alouds during circle time. He also practices mindfulness and breathing through yoga. On top of that, they offer affordable extracurriculars such as gym and music. 3. Food My son genuinely enjoys the meals and snacks, which is a huge plus. 4. Family Events Families are invited to celebrate birthdays and attend special events like dance performances, which creates a strong sense of community. 5. Progress and Communication The school provides progress reports and report cards during parent-teacher conferences. I appreciate seeing how my son is growing, as well as knowing the areas where he can continue developing. 6. Kindergarten Readiness I feel confident my child will transition smoothly into TK/K. Yachaywasi equips students with the tools they need--fine motor skills, patience, independence, and work habits--to thrive in a larger academic setting. 7. Spanish Immersion The Spanish immersion program is another highlight, giving my son exposure to language and culture Overall, Yachaywasi has been an incredible place for my son to learn and grow, and I'm grateful for the care and expertise the teachers provide every day.

They just happen to be down the street from us which makes it obviously very convenient, but this truly is a wonderful little school. There's not a lot of kids which means the teachers can really pay attention to their development. The Spanish immersion is really great because this is the perfect age for them to learn another language. The owner is very understanding when things don't go as planned and will work with you. My daughter quickly loved it and speaks of her teachers often. They also offer a camp during traditional school breaks which is helpful for working parents.

Choosing Piper was one of the best decisions we've made for our children. The teachers are truly exceptional. They are warm, nurturing, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's growth and happiness. Both of my children have thrived socially, emotionally, and academically during their time there. What makes Piper so special is its strong sense of community. The administration is wonderful, communication is excellent, and every family is made to feel welcome and supported. As my daughter prepares to graduate, I am so grateful for the foundation Piper has given her. She is confident, kind, and excited for kindergarten. We will always be thankful for our time at Piper and highly recommend it to any family looking for a loving and enriching preschool experience.

Pros: - the academics are excellent, especially when it comes to learning to read. - cannot say enough good things about Ms. Gia! - they enjoyed coming to school and loved their teachers - there is a true commitment to the value of bilingualism Opportunities for growth which I don't think could be learned from a tour or handbook: - traditional binary gender stereotypes are reinforced with explanations or comments like "boys like to play more rough" - there is a missed opportunity to engage with parents as equal partners who can add value. - I wouldn't mind sacrificing the academics a bit for more time spent on social emotional content, such as how to navigate conflict on the playground or being inclusive of all classmates or celebrating growth and transitions Would I choose a different preschool if I had to do it all over again? I don't think so. We would still have chosen this school. It was a solid start to our children's school experiences.

The biggest, loudest red flag is their snack menu: skinny POPCORN and RAISINS, two of the most commonly known choking hazards. The admin confirmed their snack schedule is up to date, and indicated "nothing has ever happened before" when questioned about the popcorn and raisins. Well, I'm glad none of the kids under your supervision have choked as a result, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. Any decent preschool / day care would not endanger their littles. On top of that, the teachers looked tired and the playrooms underwhelming. I observed a couple of children practicing writing, yet they seemed dim and not as engaged or as happy as other kids I've observed at other schools. No, I would not recommend this place. I would stay far away.

The program is truly special--weekly animal classes, music, dance, and art activities that enrich the children and help them grow in so many ways. As someone who speaks several languages, the language aspect was very important to me. I've seen a big difference--my children started to understand and speak a little French in a short time. Every day at 10:00 AM, they have a structured learning session where they learn colors, numbers, and the alphabet. After just three months, the progress was amazing. The food is kosher, organic, fresh, and delicious--homemade meals that I would happily eat myself. She cried for the first two weeks, which is completely normal at that age, but Anies met every wobble with calm patience and genuine kindness. That gentle transition paid off. Now she walks through the door without even looking back, completely confident, and she has never cried again. Most importantly, I feel she is truly safe there, and that peace of mind is everything. The kids also enjoy genuinely fun and enriching activities: art projects, music time, and even visits from animals. It's a place where learning and play blend beautifully. The environment is warm, attentive, and personal. It's clear that the children are cared for, not simply supervised. Anies really understands them. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing, thoughtful, and safe place for their child.
