First time dining here today and overall was pretty good. Ordered the meat lovers skillet with a side of sausage gravy and corned beef hash. Temperatures were perfect. Service was very attentive and kinda friendly. Everything seemed to be done intentionally but with a tone that didnt sound like they liked their job. Was a full room and lively. This place is your typical diner. They have great breakfast. Breakfast time is a very busy time for them. We decided to try it for dinner. Alas usual service was good. They have lots of options from gyro, hamburger to meatloaf. Lots of options. Overall the food was good and the price was decent. The place is clean and has all booths. Restaurant was dirty with food and plates on all tables, we had about 3 different servers take care of us, it was decent food and it came out quickly. Bathroom was not clean. Other than that, it was okay. I got the mushroom melt, and hubby got the country skillet burger good fries! read more

This place is great. Their breakfasts are stellar and so is the spinach pie. The koney dogs are really good too.

We picked up our order and they got several things wrong and even forgot a whole appetizer. We went back up to the restaurant where they tried to charge us for their mistake. Food was just ok, but our waitress had an atitude. I had to ask her to bring part of my meal. I was told one item, rice oudding, was for dessert and I couldn't have it until then. When I asked for it to go she told me it was complimentary and had to be eaten there, even though it was listed on the menu as part of my meal. I told her to forget it. Food was average, no more and no less but had a slight problem with the check. Check given to me at the booth showed 4 items and a total with a circle around it. The problem was the math was wrong. Was not a big amount but math is math. Told the waitress and she told me it was right. Again I said it was wrong and she said the tax was added. I said she didn't show the tax and was told that was how they did it there. I'm a older person and have been around a whole bunch of the world. I have never have seen or heard of a business where they add numbers to your total circled bill without showing a reason. Didn't get a 'thank you' or 'how was your meal',or any such courtesy from her on the way out. The register bill did show the tax added as a 5th line. All they had to do to avoid this was write the tax amount on the bill or not total the bill until the customer went to the register. Geez. Handled properly it could of been a big 'nothing'. I only went here because Bob Evans across the street had a long wait. Walking in I was afraid of a long wait there because it was a Sunday at noon, but the tables moved along very fast. I got a bug breakfast with pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon and it all tasted super wonderful. Way better than what I would have gotten at Bob Evans. My coffee mug was never empty and I didn't feel rushed. I will definitely be back in the future, and I'm glad I found this hidden treasure. read more

Very clean and friendly personal. The food was cooked to order and fast. My wife and I ate breakfast, eggs, hash browns, she had bacon I had sausage toast and our drinks for for just over 10 dollars. If you are in the area and hungry stop at the Country Skillet I know we will be back! read more

Love their food and prices. Sucks for having twin toddlers that need to be corralled to high chairs but overall few complaints. Sunday mornings are always super busy and usually a wait and food can take awhile when tables are full. Most of the staff is super friendly, Janelle is the best, but some are horrible and you have to chase them down. read more

The last few times we have been here the usual peppy service has dwindled to sub par. We had our ticket lost not once but twice as we watched everyone elses food come out of the kitchen that was seated after us. if it wasn't for their chicken Greek salads I wouldn't order out even. Staff also has a tendency to complain about customers in front of customers and talk in appropriately on the phone with friends while waiting to check out. 2 stars for the Greek dressing. read more
