Cathy is incredibly honest, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond for her customers. As a woman, I've definitely felt taken advantage of by other mechanics in the past, so finding someone I can truly trust means a lot to me. I recently had a strange issue with my car where the check engine light kept staying on. Cathy's team did multiple checks, over multiple days, and eventually solved the problem for me, at an incredibly reasonable price. What I appreciate most is that I never feel like I'm being scammed or pushed into unnecessary repairs. I genuinely trust Cathy and her team with my car, and that is not something I take lightly. Took my car in for an oil change. Picked up the car, it was street parked without the mirrors…read moretucked in--and the mirror was stolen. They offered to fix the mirror (great!), went back to pick it up a week later and the mirror was brown/gold and clearly a different color than the original mirror. So now I have two mirrors that don't match. So I ask them to fix this with two mirrors that match, another week passes and finally get the car. I thought ok they finally fixed it, we can move on & all is well. Then, this week I get a notice of an unpaid ticket in the mail and the street markings/date are while this car was at this shop. They parked it during street sweeping and didn't bother paying the ticket or telling me about it. So now I'm stuck with a ticket, a mirror that still doesn't quite match the other one, and a month of a hassle over getting..an oil change.

Unfortunately, less than a minute of driving it, one of my rear tires was running super low on air. I went back home to inflate the tire and double checked the tire and found a nail in the tread. I immediately took my car over to Los Gatos in Jamaica. It's right off the Van Wyck, 1 block before Jamaica Hospital. The guys here work quick and efficient. They plugged the hole for $10. This review is based on few things: + they are going to tell you they can turn them around in 1 day... it's a scam to make you think they are going to be of high quality. + the first time they turned them around I noticed lots of running paint that was dried up. + they claim that nobody powdercoats the outer barrel of the wheel yet they advertise wheels that are fully powder coated inside and out. They literally gave me back two tone gradient wheels and didn't bat an eyelash -- the audacity + on the redo I gave them ample time to make sure they provided me with a high quality job only to receive a job worst than the first job. + $150.00 to repair rashed/bent wheel + powdercoat seemed pricey.... For the quality of work, I'd pay $50/wheel -- I'm being generous with that number. These wheels make me want to vomit + take a look at the images I posted so you can get a good idea of the amount of blemishes on these newly refinished (x2) wheels. $653.02 after tax for this job. I'd rather pay a fifth grader this money to give me a splatter job with house paint lol. I'm laughing straight to the bank with this one... can anyone say CHARGEBACKKK?!?! The shop up the block "auburndale tires" tried to scam me for 150$ to remove ONE stripped bolt & I had to leave my car over night! I know it's extra work to remove a stripped bolt but 150$ is outrageous, the shop up the block " Genesis Auto Town" wouldn't even check my car because I needed an appointment for the next day to change my tire what a joke!! One simple google search helped me find Mr Tire. He is way more humble and professional with his clients! He deserves this recognition and more! To remove the stripped bolt and patch a hole in my tire he only charged me 40$!!! that's 110$ less than the shop up the block!! Jose helps out this community & the people in it and it shows!
