As a woman, I've definitely felt taken advantage of by other mechanics in the past, so finding someone I can truly trust means a lot to me. I recently had a strange issue with my car where the check engine light kept staying on. Cathy's team did multiple checks, over multiple days, and eventually solved the problem for me, at an incredibly reasonable price. What I appreciate most is that I never feel like I'm being scammed or pushed into unnecessary repairs. I genuinely trust Cathy and her team with my car, and that is not something I take lightly. Their work is excellent and Cathy always gives you the straight scoop on what needs to be done, and especially what DOESN'T, to get your car back on the road in safe, tip-top condition -- only the work you need done on your car at reasonable rates! Just an aside, one of the mechanics stepped inside the waiting room, asked how I was and offered me the wifi connection. When my iPhone didn't want to pair the password, he typed it in for me. Even in their attention to small details, it's a great place to have your car repaired!

I was actually able to drop it off a few minutes before my 8am appointment and was surprised to hear it would ready in 2 hrs. I decided to hang around the neighborhood and found there are quite a few nice eating spots a short walk away. I normally try to give business to the Auto shops that advertise in my local church newsletter but to my disappoiment they always seem to be the most expensive and require me to drop off early an pick up late. I was actually trying to make an appointment with one of the advertisers, for this work, but they couldnt even bother replying to me. Their loss was a win-win for me. I came across a great shop and the price was very reasonable. With 37th Auto, I dropped off it off, walked, had a good breakfast, explored the neighborhood a little and was able to pick it up 2 hrs later and continue with my day.

I hired this mechanic to replace 2 tensioners, and 1 belt. I opted not to belt the second…read moretensioner because it only supplied power to the A/C which did not work on this specific vehicle. Within 150 miles the tensioner belonging to A/C completely falls out while driving. Followed by the breaking of the belt controlling both the alternator and power steering. After taking it to an actual shop, and not just some "Mr.fixit" off the street, I had to listen to the mechanic there tell about how the tensioner for the alternator was also improperly put it. Personally I don't care, I've moved on with my life, but for some reason this Mr.fixit keeps sliding into my DM's telling me how I am a child, how I supplied Chinese parts, and how the second belt REALLY would helped out the integrity of the tensioner that fell out.... lol. So here I am updating my review. Also most of the 5 star reviews on this mechanic come from accounts with zero history on Yelp. Literally accounts that were created reviewed 1 business then did nothing else, seems legit. Cheers.
