This company…read moreinstalled pavers and turf at my house and after just only 2 years of being installed INCORRECTLY, my turf is falling apart, my pavers are uneven, have weeds growing in between them and are separating apart due to no curbing installed to keep them tight. after contacting them about 10 times I finally got a hold of the wife who apparently is their secretary and receive nothing but attitude.. After I called back and got a hold of the husband who is the owner he had nothing but attitude and and said he couldn't even come look at his redo for about two months and ended up never even coming to check out his poor work. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. if I could give a -100 star I would. The quality of work is the worst I've ever seen. And we paid pretty penny for it.

Joey Boonstra and his team just completed another awesome project at our home. The latest project…read morewas an outdoor living space. With Covid placing a premium on our backyard, Joey helped us design a space that would allow us to comfortably enjoy our backyard year round. Joey transformed our cramped, covered patio space that was large enough for about 6 people into a large, flexible space suitable for up to 20 people. Our outdoor living space is now a seamless extension to our home, complete with lighting, overhead propeller fans and heaters, and a wall mounted TV. The project went smoothly from start to finish. We really appreciate the team's attention to detail. For example, the gas line for the heaters runs inside a vertical post so it is nearly invisible. All of the wiring for the lights, fans and heaters are tucked under a shiplap ceiling stained to enhance the wood grain, so there are no visible wires. The roof is really tall and allows plenty of light to come into the back of the house, thereby avoiding the potential problem of reduced light in the main house. They also primed all of the wood (even the wood not visible at completion) to avoid future termite issues. The outdoor living space is the new hub of our house. We've now had a number of socially distanced gatherings that were not possible before the project was completed. Understandably, our friends love it! This is the third major project Joey has completed for us over the last 21 years. His ideas are way beyond anything we could envision. The workmanship is second to none. The communication is always excellent. All of projects have been done on time and on budget. In sum, I recommend Joey Boonstra and Boonstra Construction without hesitation. Give Joey a call today!
