We have had two good experiences with All-American plumbing -- they initially helped with some leak detection work last year and just were super efficient and knowledgeable, and just generally very nice people. When it came time for doing some annual maintenance (water heater flush) as well as an insinkerator replacement and some drain line investigation -- they were our first call. While we couldn't get the same technicians as last year, David Hollis was sent and he was a true professional. We had a minor miscommunication re the work scope so the timing took 2 days instead of 1, but David resolved it professional and efficiently. I appreciated how thorough and diligent he was in his work, as well as communicating what needed to be done and provided helpful tips for ongoing maintenance. I found the appointment reminders via text, and notifying who and when the team would be arriving was helpful. Also the followup email with the photos of the work completed was also great! Lastly, I was very happy how David and his team were so respectful of our home. I normally expect to have to do a big cleanup after any contractors' "clean up" but with All-American, I didn't have to at all! JoJo handled all the plumbing work, Dave completed the tile work, and Byron and Sherri professionally managed my needs throughout the entire process (my attention to detail can sometimes get the best of me and others). The entire team worked together and delivered top-notch results (see attached photo). JoJo was professional, efficient, and easy to work with. He took the time to clearly explain everything, kept me informed, and clearly takes pride in his craft. He quickly diagnosed several previous plumbing installation issues that caused my 5-year old tub to crack at the drain. He carefully removed it and reinstalled a new tub the way the old one should have been. The entire tub removal and reinstallation was completed in less than a day (I was shocked). JoJo also took care of additional plumbing fixes, including correcting a poorly installed P-trap under my bathroom sink, updating the drainage on my kitchen sink, and replacing a few old shut-off valves. Everything is now done properly and functions exactly as it should. Dave's tile work is very impressive. He came in after JoJo and finished the surround. It now blends so seamlessly that no one would ever know the bathtub and tile wall had been partially demoed and replaced. The re-tiling is clean, precise, and matches perfectly. Overall, this project far exceeded my expectations. The final result looks great and puts my OCD at ease! Everything feels solid and watertight. Great from start to finish. I sent a request through yelp in the afternoon and they came the next morning. The team was on time, professional and quick. We had an issue with our air gap leaking. Upon inspection they realized the tubing and the garbage disposal were not set up efficiently, leading to water coming out of the air gap. They were great about explaining what was going on and answering any questions I had. The quote seemed fair to me and they were able to do the work to fix it right away. I have used Yelp for years to find quality, reliable contractors in the San Diego area, and I wanted to leave a review for All American Plumbing-Poway after our recent experience with a slab leak. Kevin O'Rourke was our service technician, and we could not have been happier with his work. All American responded quickly to our call, and Kevin quickly located and capped the leak to prevent further damage. He thoroughly explained our options, from repairing the immediate leak to taking preventive measures to avoid future in-slab leaks. After discussing the pros and cons, we decided to move forward with a downstairs re-pipe to replace any pipes that were in the slab, along with replacing our pressure regulator and several older valves. This was a major project involving rerouting plumbing through the ceilings and walls, but Kevin guided us through every step of the process. He was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and always made sure we understood the work being done. It is rare to immediately trust a service technician you have just met, but we had complete confidence in Kevin and his recommendations throughout the project. After the plumbing work was completed, they also provided excellent referrals for stucco (thank you Carlos) and drywall repair (thank you Hugo at California Quality Drywall) to help restore our home as quickly as possible. Let me start off we had a leak in the shower base. It turned into a big monster. When the second company came in for the dryout they said the shower was leaking. I called All American Plumbing because I have used them before and always had great service. Today was exceptional. Nick and Cody showed up, estimated the repair and gave me options. Posting this for my elderly parents. I went over and checked for a leak as they had noticed some water under/in the LVP flooring in their condo. Didn't see any obvious signs of a leak but the condo is from the early 90s with the bad copper pipes so worth a check. Did a yelp search and found all American plumbing to have some solid reviews. I cautioned them to pay only for the leak detection and a quote as some companies can be pushing in extras. "Yay!! Awesome Plumber!! Thank God...no leak...no Slab problem. He went above and beyond...even checked the meter...AND I asked if he could bolt the dishwasher in so I don't have to always push it in hard to get it to run. He did...No Charge for anything!!
