I searched for a long time to find a company who supplied these and I found Quiet Cool. A little background - I called the number on the main Quiet Cool website and spoke to the main manufacturing location. They are the one's that supply the fan's and I guess they just recently started doing installs. They were very unhelpful and had no idea what they were doing. I got discouraged, as they said our house could not have a fan due to our attic makeup. I had to hunt these guys down to get answers, it was like pulling teeth. So please, avoid the main manufacturing company for the installation and just go to the quiet cool guys. Cut to now, I searched quiet cool on yelp because I wanted to give the manufacturing guys mentioned above a bad review and that is when i found the quiet cool guys. So thankful for the quiet cool guys! I called and right away was met with professionalism and could tell they knew what they were doing. They scheduled us for a complimentary evaluation within a few days and had confidence that our attic would be able to fit the fan. They are the ones who have been installing the Quiet Cool products for many years and they have seen it all! We had Misael, Erik and Victor come out. They checked out our attic, answered my many questions and set us up for an appointment to do both insulation and a whole house fan install, within that same week. They came back for the install and the whole process took about 6 hours. They respected my want for no shoes in the house and they carefully laid plastic down in any area they would be walking. They did the install, gave us a tutorial, again answered my many questions and cleaned up very nicely. My husband and I had to do only very minor cleaning after they left, which we very much appreciate! We live in Long Beach area, and these guys are located in Temecula area, but they still service our area, which is so great! We have been enjoying our fan thoroughly. It is hard to tell if the insulation is making a big difference since our attic only covers a portion of our house size, but we are happy we did both. Just a warning, this review is going to be pretty long. But if you're thinking about reinsulating…read moreyour home, that's a pretty big task, so I'll add as much detail as I can to help you! Background: The credit for green energy was ending in 2025, and I had always wanted to reinsulate my home because it was so cold in winter and super hot in summer. I went through many different companies and seeing how people felt about them, and I saw a lot of horror stories. I called up a few companies and found out that insulation is kind of like roofing, where a sales person and a tech comes, where the tech looks around and the sales person tries to scare you into using their company right then. They might say something like "your attic is super hot" (that's normal, well, up to a point), or "we'll give you a special deal if you say yes right now". Just kind of shady stuff overall. One big thing that people mention is that while insulation is good, you need to airseal your attic as well - this was another thing I was looking to get done. Initial Meeting: So I was kind of expecting that when I called Attic Professional. Fortunately, that was not the case at all! From other reviews you might have figured that the owner, Bryan, is incredibly respectful and treats customers well. I got to experience that as well. One thing I was surprised at is he had inside shoes (the kind you see in Japan) and put them on and off when walking around the house. He went up into my attic and really dug around to look for issues like pests or mold (besides the poor insulation layers). We went around the home together to look for clogged vents. He didn't try to sell me on anything - I remember reading one review that said he didn't try to sell them things they didn't need, and that was my experience too. He said they could put more insulation in on my existing one, or take out the old one and put new one in; but neither would have a substantial difference. I went ahead and asked him to remove the old insulation and put new insulation in just for cleanliness. I even later changed my mind and asked for a custom insulation scheme - some fiberglass batting and mostly blown-in, and he had no problem accommodating that. Oh, and they would include airsealing gaps in the attic with fire resistant foam! Reinsulation: A few weeks later, he and his team brought his truck up to my house. They covered many surfaces with plastic drop cloth to prevent insulation from flying around - they taped doorways so I could come through, and they taped cardboard to corners in the house so their insulation blower tube wouldn't cause damage. They put canvas drop cloths on the floors to protect them. There was a bit of fiberglass and debris around after, but it was very, very minor. I understand how difficult it is to be flawless with cleanup, but these guys were very good. The work was smooth and quick - only a few hours. I didn't have to add much input and the team was in and out. Bryan left for another site for an hour or so, but everyone was just as respectful as Bryan, and they told me he was a very good person to work for. Always nice to see that the employees have a good opinion of the company as well. One thing that I thought was interesting is after they removed all the previous insulation, they let me look at the attic and see how they stapled their measuring tapes. Apparently, some insulation companies will scam their customers and fold up their measuring tapes so it shows more insulation than what's actually in there. I was able to verify myself that all the measuring tapes were correct. Bryan and I did a final check on the attic together and I was very happy. Above and beyond: A month or so later, I was very curious about the insulation and really wanted to optimize the house, so I got one of those FLIR guns (temperature sensor guns) to see if the attic was perfectly insulated. As expected there were a few spots that had a bit of uneven insulation (after all, nobody's perfect), but for the most part everything was good. I sent Bryan a text about these spots, and he immediately he and his crew to come add some more insulation and pack it in. Now everything on the camera looks great. I think it's pretty rare to find such attention to quality, and I was very impressed. Results: In the San Diego weather by home would average 63 degrees when outside it was around 48. Now, the house never drops below 68, and it averages around 72 year round. When it's 85 degrees outside, it might be 76-78 inside. I've seen the temperature inside crack 80 maybe twice in the last year, and never seen it below 65. This is with no heater, no AC running EVER. So TLDR: I would completely recommend using Attic Professional for your insulation. Take a look at their price, but I find their quality far outshines anything I've seen, and I think I got a steal of a deal (with the now-removed credit sadly).

It took you over a month and seven contacts with you to have you send a drywall guy out. He did a lousy job patching and painting. You could clearly see the damaged area. I waited some more so that the manager of your company could come out with two guys to paint the ceiling. They, too, did a lousy job. You can still clearly see the area that was damaged. When I asked the two young guys how often they paint, they told me that they are installers and don't really ever paint. It has been a long time now, and you are not taking this seriously. I can't believe that you didn't send painters to fix the problem. Fan installers? Seriously?

I took time to weigh my choice, call Kaleb and amend the order slightly, then placed my order in February. I appreciated the "no pressure" approach, yet confident guidance. As of yesterday and before the end of March, our door has been expertly installed by Rob (Robert) who showed up on time and worked efficiently. He reviewed our order, explained the installation process and was extremely detail oriented from beginning to end. He's personable and definitely an expert in his craft! The other bids did not offer to stucco match or paint. They came out in one day in December 2022 and got it all done. The whole team was professional and courteous. After they were done, you couldn't tell that I had holes all over my exterior. It's been almost three months and this winter season feels colder than normal outside. But inside, my home feels warmer. Before my feet would be cold (since cold air sinks), but after the insulation it is definitely warmer. My heater is not working as hard. Plus, I might be able to write some of the cost of the insulation off on my taxes (still need to check that).

It seemed that our house built in 73' had just about 1 inch of insulation which we were definitely lacking and feeling (too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter). Mr. Doug gave us the best option and fair price to insulate our attic. The Red trailer crew, in our case, just two gentleman with foreman being the son of the company, came in and quickly filled (in a little over an hour) our attic to its correct level of insulation. We are so glad we chose ACH to insulate our home, we finally have the comfortable cozy temperature that we require for the winter and summer months.
