Upon arrival, we requested they use tarps to protect the carpet and also be careful to shut the door so that our cats don't get outside Besides honoring our request, they did an excellent job. They' cleaned the attic around the air conditioner and vacuumed the carpet. On our phone call yesterday, you mentioned you didn't feel like bringing the filters I already paid for because of my review. And even though your technician didn't finish the maintenance service, I've decided to leave things as they are. But I absolutely would not recommend your business to anyone else. When you called me, it wasn't about making things right, it was simply: take down the review, I'll take my part back, and we go our separate ways. And now in your response here, you're saying you'll "always be here if I need assistance in the future"? That just feels insincere. Also, you mention that the value comes from training and experience to know what's wrong and why. Again, that's what the annual maintenance fee covers, which I already paid. They came out three different times to address the same issue. Unfortunately, even after all three visits and the repair cost, the original issue was still not resolved. I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel like this situation deserves to be shared so others are aware. My wife scheduled an annual maintenance service for our AC, which we paid for upfront. When the technician came out, he said a part wasn't working and told my wife it would cost $325. There was no breakdown of labor vs. part cost just $325 for the part. Later, we found that exact same part online for around $15. We understand companies have overhead and charge for expertise that's not the issue. The issue is transparency and how this situation was handled. What really disappointed me was that when my wife left an honest review about her experience, the owner called her not to make things right, but to tell her to take the review down and he would come back, remove the part, and refund her the money.  That's not good customer service, that's just bad business. We're not interested in doing business with this company again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. read more

So, remarkably, within a day of my service visit from Daniel, my old AC compressor completely failed. We're having 90 plus degree temperatures with triple digits in the next few days and high humidity. Absolute misery to try to sleep in. Daniel was able to arrange for an installation within one day of my signing off on the proposal. I found the total cost reasonable and a large work crew of at least 6 technicians showed up this morning a little earlier than expected and got right to work. Everyone was clean, polite and professional. They installed my new 5-ton compressor and coil in the attic in about two and a half hours and did nice, professional work. My home is in the process of cooling down to a comfy 70° as I write this. The new compressor is much quieter and at least twice as efficient as the one it replaced. It's very disappointing to leave this 1 star review but It is important for me to leave my honest review based on my experience. I reached out to Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning to get a quote on lifting my ac condenser 4 inches off the ground. I received a prompt response from Denise, who was very nice and provided me with a quote after gathering all of my information. After reviewing various quotes from other companies, I decided to hire them. I was given a date and time (11am-1pm). That day when 1pm came no one showed up, and I received no status update so I reached out to Denise at 1:15pm to confirm that the techs were still coming. I don't see why me the customer has to reach out to get my own updates and communication on why or when the techs will show up. She then apologized and said "my guys are running a little behind, they should arrive around 3pm." Again, I proceed to wait and understood that stuff happens however 3pm comes by then 4pm and they finally showed up at 4:15pm! The guys were very friendly and honest workers I don't knock them for it or their work because it's not their fault. This more so falls on the business itself for the lack of communication and empathy. I had to miss work and I asked for an inconvenience discount of $25 which was denied by the "owner." Denise as the manager should have authority to override and honor this. I myself work in customer service and this was just a horrible experience. They lost a future customer over $25... incredibly disappointing how they were very quick to get my business and once things go sour (because of their lack of communication) they refuse to do things right. read more

Long story short: Advanced HVAC are legit. I'm very glad I used them, and I highly recommend them to others. Long story a little longer: Our central furnace stopped working. A few companies came out to try and diagnose it over the course of a few cold weeks. Some gave up. Some gave me a quote for a new system. Only Advanced were able to actually provide evidence of what was actually wrong and why a new sysem was the right choice. It wasn't a hard sell at all (I hate hard-sells). Just an honest recommendation with an honest quote from a couple honest employees. That's why I hired them, and I'm very glad I did. I ended up going for a full overhaul. My house is built in a way that made this install very complicated, but they took care of everything professionally and on time. Even though there were some minor complications beyond their control, they stuck with me and did everything they could until things were working perfectly, without hassle. As a perfectionist, I really appreciated that. I should have written this out way back then, but forgot. I used this company to put in an air conditioning unit in my home. I was very happy with the service.

I have had an intermittent issue with my ac condenser not coming on for some time. I reached out to Advanced Hearing because they had great reviews. When the technician came the condenser did not come on per normal cycle which is the problem I had been experiencing. He checked the capacitor and freon levels which he said were normal. After pulling and resetting the disconnect and turning on and off the thermostat, it did come on. I told him that this is what it had been doing but he said he had no answer. I paid the $85 service call. Two days later it did the same thing. In addition, the breaker tripped after it ran for a few hours. In either case, I assume they are not capable of troubleshooting this type of issue. I will reach out to another company to hopefully get a better result. I know these issues can be tricky and asked the technician to ask other members of his team to see if they had any ideas. I never heard back. read more

Today Daniel performed service on my A/C unit. He recommended installing a hard start kit to reduce the amps from 20 to better level, thereby helping to prolong the life of my 24-year-old unit. (No up selling, just a recommendation that I moved ahead with.) Fortunately, the R-22 Freon levels were good, and that was a relief, as R-22 is no longer being produced in the U.S. Daniel, as always, was professional, friendly, and informative.
