Not sure why they have good reviews. My daughter and I went, with appointments, and my full set was rushed, rough and they did a poor job. There's overlapping, excess glue, bumps and looks bad. Have to get them redone somewhere else. For my daughters fill, they cut her finger and it burned her fingers with the file as well. And it was sloppy. Will not return. read more

I had an appointment at 2:00 today and walked out with only the shallac soaked off of my nails. Betty had double booked herself, and the other woman also left because Betty left her waiting. Betty had obviously double booked herself, and had probably taken walk-ins in front of people who had scheduled appointments, because there was no one else free to do my nails even if I had been OK with being switched out. Then she didn't even apologize and had the nerve to make me pay for walking out with nails that looked disgusting. read more

First I've gone to this nail spa a few times and they are clean and do great work, the reason for my 1 star review is their problems with appointments. They do not say no to ANYONE who walks in so if you have an appointment it is obsolete. I made an appointment at 5:30 for a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax 1 week ahead if time. I got there at 5:30, didn't sit down until 6:15, only to be ignored in the chair for another 15 minutes, then finally, a nail technician! When I told her I wanted french, she rolled her eyes and said "TOO SHORT", finally I settled on any pink color they wanted to pick. It wasn't until 7:10 that I got out of there, with ONLY a pedicure, not what I planned. As I waited many people were taken before me and after that walked in. It was obvious the technicians were spread thin. I wish they had been honest with me about not really having time. I won't be returning to tip top nails unless I need a last minute job and have 2 hours to burn. read more

I don't know why this place had any negative reviews. I thought it was great! I've been 3 times so it's not a fluke. As, with most walk-in places you may have to wait a minute or two but they do try their best to get everyone in as quickly as possible. They did a wonderful job, and the extras such as paraffin and mango salt scrub are wonderful! I love the disposable pedicure tube liners! My mom had an appt at 10am and waited for 10 min but no one came so she left. I had a 2pm appt with Betty but when I arrived at 2, Betty double booked herself and no other women were available to help. I sat there for 15 minutes before I finally left. The women who also had a 2pm appt told her she can't double book. Betty said she was only one person and can only do one person. We were confused by her response because that is what we told her! Ok, I'm a tough critic and generally feel like I'm destined to have a mediocre manicure experience, regardless of where I go. And boy, was I pleasantly surprised with Tip Top Nails!! The attention to detail was nice - both of my technicians went over my nailbed with an edging brush, my cuticles were double checked, and the polish was streak free. Friendly staff, a nice variety of polish colors and a clean facility rounded off the pleasant experience. Only the music (both volume and selection) and the short massage keeps this from getting 5 stars. But it's definitely going to be my go-to nail salon in the Valley :-) read more

This is the only place I go to get my nails done. Everyone is very nice and I always feel welcomed when I go in. They do a great job and I feel very relaxed there. Number one thing I appreciate when getting a pedicure is plastic covering the pedicure tub, which they have, and it alleviates my fears of germs. Anyways, highly I recommend tip top nails! read more

Today was my second time coming in, I spent over a half hour waiting. I arrived at 5:30 and did not leave until 7:30. All I came in for was a fill on my acrylic's. It was the most unpleasant fill I have ever had. not only was it painful to get it was painful to sit for over an hour. If I am expected to sit for an hour plus fill it better be the best fill of my life and this was the worst. Not only are my nails not smooth like they should be but the polish is bubbled, and either all over or not enough.. I did say something and got ignored. I will NEVER be going back nor will I EVER recommend them to any one I know. I would love to give zero stars but it would not let me. read more

I love this nail spa!! I use to live in Issaquah and would make the 15 minute drive to get my nails done by these ladies! They do an amazing job and are the friendliest nail techs I have met. I recently moved to Las Vegas but still visit the Seattle area once in a while, and everytime I'm in town I make sure I have time for a pedicure here! They are great with kids too! read more

After reading the reviews on Yelp, my daughter and I decided to give Tip Top Nails a try. It was a very pleasant experience. The salon is very clean. Everyone was polite and friendly. The massage chairs were great. The pedicure was very nice, The finishing touch was the paraffin wax at the end ~ you are so relaxed you could slide right off the chair. The owner has no idea how to run a business. On my first trip I made my appointment for a mani/pedi and after my pedi I was sitting waiting expecting they would come get me for my mani and finally I said something after about 15min and she told me I didn't make an appointment for mani which I did. I wasn't the only one in there that day that same thing happened to two other woman and they walked out. They squeezed me in but because they were rushed my mani was horrible. On my second experience there I had an appointment at 10:30 for a mani/pedi and didn't leave there till 1. 2.5 hours for a simple mani/pedi nothing special. As I sat there I observed people coming in that said they had an appointment but yet they weren't on the books. The owner is very nice but needs someone to manage this business for her the quality of her work is suffering because of her lack of knowledge in knowing How to run a business. There is a huge language barrier and that might also have something to do with it. I gave them two tries to get it right and will not waste my time or money going back. read more

Amazing pedicure. I have never been somewhere so clean. Tools come out new, the have a plastic thing to line the tub and gets thrown out.
