Walked in for a pedi, post-pandemic. I appreciate the effort with requiring masks, plexy barriers, etc. however, I have an issue with the cleanliness. I watched my technician walk with a box of metal instruments from one chair to mine. No cleaning, no autoclave in sight, no soaking instruments anywhere. Then she accidentally cut me, and I was bleeding. The rest of the pedi was subpar. The minute the cheese grader came out, I was done. I went there for a set of almond shaped acrylics, they were like claws. I asked her to round them more and she did for like one second and then left them looking pointy. I was very disappointed with the shape of my nails. Then when they were painted. There was air bubbles, hairs, and they were crooked. Mary was also very harsh when nail filing, and stabbed my finger with her sharp nail. I recommend getting square nails and a singular color because they are not good at design. The French tips are way to long and do not look good. The pedicures are also very short and the water is cold. And not to mention they put me aside so they could do a different customer. read more

Yikes! I am not very experienced at getting my nails done but even I can tell when something is an abomination. I would like to start with the positives, the people here are very nice! They have a great selection of colors and the shop is cute. I went in for a set of nails. I told her I wanted almond shaped tips. What I got was ugly, rushed, and nothing near what I asked for. 25 minutes for a manicure that was interupted by 14 calls. I counted. The nails are crooked, deformed looking, and not even fully covered by polish. I start a new job tomorrow so I am pretty upset about the waste of money this was. To be fair, I did not tell her I was unhappy because I didn't trust her to remove or fix them properly. She got polish on my fingers and just cut the skin off. Yikes! Buyers beware. read more

I went there to just get my acrylics removed and while the salon is nice, I wasn't impressed with my experience or service. She tried to soak my nails off which is fine but told me I was "done" when I still had acrylic on my nails. I was surprised to hear I was "done" so I went home and removed the rest myself. While the service was only 10$ I still expect them to do a thorough job. What really made it one star for me is that the workers were yelling almost the entire time at each other. Like, the entire time. I was surprised they were having heated discussions in front of customers like that. I thought they would be more professional for how nice the salon looks. read more

It been to this place a couple of times. I haven't been super impressed but it is pretty cheap. For 35$ acrylics its not terrible!

I went to tip top nails a couple days back (Thursday) showed a photo of a design i wanted and did not get anything close. I had a set of nails on already and the removal process is nothing like i've ever seen. No soaking just shaving them right off, it hurts. The shape of my nails was not right (i asked for almond and got pointy triangles) and the lines were crooked. During the manicure the man cut my skin down too short and hurt me repeatedly. I paid and left as soon as it was over. Then Saturday my nail broke, so Sunday my friend and I went back. I did not ask for a refund but just that i wanted my nails done and a pedicure. My friend wanted the same, a manicure and pedicure we were seated and helped after 10 minutes. In that time a lady checking out was upset because she believed she was overcharged. She asked for a $30 pedicure and paid $50. The same man who did my nails Thursday did them again today and again hurt my nail beds and cuticles. I asked for (and showed) a specific shape of nail because he did not do it on Thursday yet he argued me that i was wrong despite the photo. I also asked for gems on my nails and then man said he didn't have them although they were in a bin right next to me on the table and when i pointed that out he said that he still would not do them. My friends nails were done but not well, she got a french tip manicure and they are see through with no base coating. When she went to check out she was charged $38 for a pedicure that the service book said was $25 and then charged $55 for her sloppy nails. I will be taking my services elsewhere and not recommending tip top nails to anyone i know. Save your money and time and go to a place that will do a good job and what you ask for. read more

a nice selection of colors but they don't have any gems or decals or stickers. a decent place to go if you want a simple set but definitely not the place for the creative type. the nail tech tried to do a design because it was all they could do and even that didn't turn out. it almost looked like a child drew it, not a professional nail technician. it was my first time here and will be my last. read more
