He's been doing this for a long time, and the way I looked on my wedding day was a direct result of his expertise. We got married in a whirlwind, and I was at his location looking around a week or two before the wedding. His prompt service, combined with his integrity made sure that I wasn't worried about my tux. I was so thankful for having a great tux with such short notice that I offered him a $100 tip. Terry would have none of it. His website says "We act with honour and integrity in all our dealings." The schedule was really vague on when the fashion show was going to occur but there was a goal to get there at the start of the night to get my friend (the engaged one) her free ticket to the January Bridal Show. It was an interesting night with various wedding related vendors and the fashion show wasn't the typical these are the hottest and newest trends but look at these styles and what is or isn't working on the model. The host and owner was very direct with these comments and even stopped the models to show what things would look like if things were adjusted properly in fitting. I felt I learned so much and I'm only the supporting friend in search of a good dress! Afterwards everyone walked around and interacted with vendors plus snooped out the dress selection. Some ladies in the crowd were even trying on dresses (brave as there was a lot of critics giving input with so many ladies in the room walking by as they looked at themselves in the mirrors). There was even one lucky bride that actually found her gown that evening & for shopping that night got 15% off! Everyone else was welcome to book an appointment and have an opportunity to have 10% off if they returned on another night to try dresses. Everything bridal was on the main floor and the second half of the shop looked like it was dedicated to the men's clothing & tuxs. Upstairs there was an area labeled for bridesmaids. That wasn't open during the evening but I was perfectly ok with that being there were a TON of stairs. Lots of fitting rooms all over the main floor and the bathroom was beautiful, clean and a wheelchair would have no problem accessing it even though you need to go all the way to the back of the shop. My friend was really impressed with the owner's personal suggestions to her on what she's looking for and how picky she was with the fit of dresses on people. So she's planning on returning for a quieter day to look at dresses. I'd say if you're ISO a dress this would be worthwhile driving northwest to give this place a look. The very least, you'll know what dress shape you're looking for to best fit your body.

So that sister booked an evening appointment for our little sister. Once again this place did not disappoint. This place is grande. It's warm and romantic and the staff are caring and kind. We were the only ones there at first then another few ladies came in. My sisters consultant was Trish. Trish was phenomenal. My sister felt glamorous and special. Trish walked around with Samantha and helped her out kept everything to Sam's budget. Trish you could tell knows what she is doing. She made us all feel amazing as Samantha tried on several gowns. Trish was incredibly helpful and listened to Samantha. She showed us how to change up the dresses to add sparkle here or there and how they can make every alteration needed so that it is perfect. Trish made the experience one of a kind. Samantha found her wedding dress that evening and it was the first one she tried on. I also love that the groom can get his tuxedo rental for free because she purchased a dress. We are also buying our bridesmaid dresses here and we will be requesting Trish. If you want to feel so special and cared for just as you see on "Say Yes to the Dress" this is the place to go. Wonderful selection, great price points and my goodness the customer service was beyond comparable.

The manager of the west end location was arrogant and dismissal of the issue where he would just blame the shipping department without helping at all with the refund process. Still waiting for our money back.... SIX MONTHS LATER. I phoned the 1-800 number I was directed to after it being so long and it wouldn't even go though to anyone. We will never be using them again. I recommend any other bridal parties look elsewhere for more competent workers who can order the correct sizes and colours within the adequate time frame.

Exceptional customer service & variety!…read more I stopped by Karrie's Kostume & Supplies store on my way home from work tonight to check if they had my toddler's ballet clothing in stock - I was greeted by a professional and friendly young lady who quickly showed me the available options; I decided to come back later with my daughter to try the items in for size. .............................................................. 2 hours later: I returned to the store with my twirling and giggling toddler in tote. We were helped by Anne, who was exceptionally good with my daughter. My four year old has a hard time talking to strangers and will sometimes run away and hide when spoken to. Anne knew just how to charm my toddler and after trying on the approved leotard options for ballet class, my daughter insisted on showing "the nice lady," before making a final selection. My daughter discussed all her favorite Princesses and Halloween costume ideas for the coming year: LaLaLoopsy & Monster High, of course! Anne even asked my daughter if she would like to try on their LaLaLoopsy costume; to which my daughter lost her marbles and a costume show and Photoshoot immediately followed care of Mommy's iPhone. Anne even brought us upstairs (stairs are on the outside of the building) to the Costume floor where we marveled at the amazing Super Hero & Star Wars Costume selection! We weren't greeted or acknowledged until we started comparing the vest we had with suits on the rack. The man who came over was friendly, if a little distant, but kept buggering off to talk to other people when there was about ten staff members on the floor, all of whom were doing a whole lot of nothing. They do have a large range of sizes, but I find the selection to be oddly limited. It may have just been this location. We were also having a hard time finding a more slim fitting suit. Everything was very boxy, and we wanted to limit alterations, if possible, to get the fit in the jacket that we were looking for. We were eventually just left to our own devices while a few older couples were serviced, and told just to bring what we wanted to the fitting room when we were done. The top choice was an okay fit with a few easily correctable problems, but the salesman started showing a little bit of disdain when we mentioned that my fiance wasn't going to be wearing dress shoes at the wedding (he and his best man are wearing converse). It came up when he wanted to mark the pants for hemming, and after that, the friendliness level went to zero. He must have intolerance for what he considers to be "hipster" types. Luckily for us, we went with our first choice and got a nicer suit of better quality and better fit elsewhere... for a better price (and it didn't even have to be on sale for half off).

I was kinda glad that Gemini had an extensive collection since I was tired from walking around all day looking for my dress. I went to West Edmonton Mall, Southgate and eventually Londonderry. (They should've located Gemini at West Edmonton Mall that way I didn't have to travel so much....) I found the customer service really satisfying. I think it just depends on who is serving you? I had someone named Mercedes service me on one occasion and eventually Mariam took over since Mercedes had to leave. The customer service was really good as long as you know what your looking for. I had 45 minutes to try on the dresses after I had filled out a form and did some browsing. I finally bought myself a Sherri Hill dress. Gold with some glitter on it. I would definitely recommend this store for its dresses.
