I know herbs are powerful, but I was just so happy to have Kyle guide me and instruct me on how to use them.

The person working on this particular Saturday afternoon (April 4th 2026) was so helpful as they made helpful recommendations while sharing about their faves. No pressure, just like shopping with a fun friend! I love that the store has tester samples that enable shoppers to get a vibe for the mixtures of seasonings via a sniff. I loved that they had some sale items ($1/small jar) because it enables one to test it out and maybe head back to get a larger size if they wanted to make the spice a kitchen staple. Even when not on sale for $1, the small sizes available are perfect for testing it out in the kitchen. The layout of the store is neat, with everything well-organized. This is a very fun shop to browse while adding to a spice collection.

I'm not sure I understand how everything is organized there, but they did have everything we wanted in stock. The person working wasn't particularly friendly or unfriendly, she was just there. The sales are always good. Personally, I respect and appreciate their political and ethical stance. The biggest downfall to this location is the lack of parking. If only they had a lot... Downtown Milwaukee street parking is such a crapshoot on any day.

The order of fries was more than enough to share, and the quality and freshness were very apparent. I am excited to go back to Todd to try the karaage and katsu! The staff is always very nice and if they are busy for some reason, they even have kiosks to order from as well. I'm Korean and love me some Korean fried chicken wings, but going here means I do not have to make them, make a mess in my kitchen, or have to spend time prepping everything beforehand. Yes, I know these are Karaage but they are very similar. I usually get the boneless wings just because I am weird and do not like having sticky fingers when I am eating, so these I can eat with a fork. The crispiness is always spot-on and I love that they give you just enough sauce to give everything a good coat and flavor but not too much that the chicken is drowning. I also really love the rice cakes that they add into the tenders and wings, it's like a nice little chewy treat to go with everything. Their fries are a LOT of fries! My wife and I have learned we can share one order of them. They have a bunch of varieties of seasonings you can add to the fries but I tend to get mine plain and just eat it with ketchup. I love coming here and their little outdoor patio is great when I want to bring my pup or just enjoy the nice fresh air as we eat our meal.

It'll turn you into a cheese connoisseur if you're not already one. I fell in love with Gouda cheese as soon as I took a bite. We tried a classic cheese flight board and red wine only flight to pair with the different types of cheese. They made it into a gluten free spread so we had four types of cheese in lieu of the seasoned dried meat and gluten free crackers. The place is inviting, has nice decorations, great for going on a date or a casual catch up with your bestie. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They knew so much about wine and cheese, I would want a whole Documentary on cheese. You can also purchase cheese and other goodies to go! Come on Thursdays, they have a discount on cheese boards!

The space is cozy and dim and well decorated. The staff are always kind. some are more helpful or informative than others. You can pair the cheeses with every drink on the menu or try pre-paired boards. You can also buy cheeses from the dairy and others, as well as assorted related products at a small retail section or cut fresh from the cheese case. Parking is on the street and can be a pain in this saturated area. The reason for the drop in stars? Prior visits got you more wines and more food to pair it with. This visit had prices steady but fewer wines, less cheese and $1 upcharge for some wafer crackers. I know the economy is not great right now, but this now seems like an expensive place to bring friends, not a reasonable day outing.
