We have had multiple problems with her not putting in correct payment information....we had a snafu with our dental ins and for some reason after five years of coverage, I wasn't covered anymore without my knowledge. The receptionist who does all of the billing and coding failed to mention for a whole year that I wasn't covered anymore, that our ins wasn't going through. She let us schedule 4 appointments for cleanings, 2 other appointments for X-rays and fillings without once mentioning that we had no insurance even though I handed her my insurance card and she ran it every time. Finally at the very end of the year, we get one huge bill for everything! Of course we were pissed! We went in and had words, but paid the bill in full. Then a few months later I get another invoice in the mail stating that it wasn't paid b/c she forgot to enter it into her computer! Seriously!!? I wrote the dentist a letter since he was not available to chat when I was in office and told him everything. I sure do hope he fired her and rectified the problem, but I have never been back.

They also said I needed to see a specialist who required an $800 fee just to sit down and talk with them before they would even look at my mouth. (How much of a kickback do they get from the specialist they're referring people to when they don't need to go to a specialist?) I went elsewhere. Turns out what they said was wrong isn't actually wrong but there's a couple of other things that are wrong that they missed. And all of it can be done by a regular dentist, no specialist needed. It's like a treatment streetom conveyor belt at the Loveland office. If you care about your health, time, and money, go elsewhere. Stay away from these corporate-owned and run dental offices like open and affordable, because they don't care about you or your dental health.

They treat you poorly based on your insurance, which is discrimination. I told them I would never bring my son back there after his appointment and will find a provider who is professional and competent. This office is still calling me, harassing me, leaving voicemails to get my son to come back to their office. I made it clear I am never taking my child back there, it's been over a year. I've literally blocked several different numbers and they keep calling me from new numbers. I have never experienced such harassment from any provider in my life. The office is well-decorated and cozy with accent walls and aesthetically-pleasing black and white photos of people with ridiculously white teeth. They have complimentary fruit and drinks (orange juice, green tea, water, etc.), free yummy chapstick, and of course your obligatory floss and toothpaste. The exam/cleaning rooms all have nice, big windows, so you can look out the window or watch TV while you are having work done, your choice. Also, you have the option of dipping your hands in a paraffin wax bath for a nice hand treatment as you get your teeth done. Absolutely genius ... I mean, if you're sitting there for an extended period of time anyway, why not? Everyone I interacted with there was very pleasant, but, most importantly, honest. Dr. Alber has a very frank, here's-how-it-is personality, which I really appreciated. He told me I should consider having my wisdom teeth out in the near future, and when I admitted that I thought I would be doing that on my next visit to Peru, he encouraged me. "Heck, they can do it for a lot cheaper than I can -- and they have good dentists!" he said. I really appreciated that because he could have said something like "Well, the only way you can be SURE to have it done well is to go through me." I loved the no-upsale approach. My visit was very cheap; with insurance, it ended up being $22, but without it would have been $110 for cleaning, xrays, and checkup. I will definitely be going back.
