Despite the mediocre reviews, I booked a gel manicure since it was a convenient location. Fast in and out, not busy. Unfortunately, within the first 3 days more than half the mani peeled, chipped, or broke. I had already left town or I would have gone back for a thicker treatment. read more

I have been to this salon for pedicures many times. Part of their point program and all. Today I went and did not have a satisfactory experience. I chose the top pedicure ($68.00) and was rushed through the steps faster than a basic. The nail guy forgot to scrub and remove the rough skin from my heels. I know, TMI, but that's when I know it's time for a pedi. So once my polish was on, he grated my heels and got debris in the wet polish. It took my nails longer to dry than the whole rest of the pedicure. All this said, as competitive as the market is, quality control may be in order. read more

I had a 2 o'clock appointment. As an older woman I was obviously treated differently than the younger clients. I was passed from employee to employee because they said they had other appointments. Other customers were offered champagne and treated in a much more professional manner. They did a terrible job on my manicure. I also asked that my nails and toes nails match and they don't. They need to treat everybody with respect no matter their age. I guarantee I have more money and tip better than the younger clientele they want to cater too. I felt like I was being degraded. I use to love this place but they get relaxed with regular clients and quality goes down. I don't even get a drink offered anymore. My last visit, my nails only lasted a couple days before I had to go back (twice). They're really sweet people but I don't think they can keep up with quality as their business grows and gets more busy. Today I got my nails taken off and had 5 points accrued (after 5 visits you get 10.00 off) and was still charged 10.00 for removal. The manager Annie, is so nice and they are always able to get you in for eyelash extension appointments within 24 hours at HALF the cost of anywhere else in town. The facilities are super nice and clean and all the staff is friendly. My first visit to this location today with my girlfriend. We had booked an appointment a couple of days ago by phone to get pedicures. We were greeted immediately and sat in the large leather seats (with personal back massager) after picking out a color from the large assortment of options. They were busy due to homecoming this weekend, but everyone was very polite. The owner introduced herself and there was a variety of different people and ages there being assisted. I was left to soak for about 10 minutes while my attendant finished the nails of another customer, but I was not in a hurry so I was fine waiting. One reason I do not frequent nail salons, is because of some bad experiences I have had in the past with the place not being clean or having the attendants speak their own language very loudly the entire time (and it seemed like they were talking about their customers too). Well, each of the attendants spoke English at Tips & Toes and occasionally spoke Vietnamese between themselves. I never had the feeling they were talking poorly about anyone and I had a fun time visiting with my friend and my attendant Anna in a clean environment. I even decided to get a manicure at the last minute and I am looking forward to returning for my touch ups. Even my honey said my nails look great. I scheduled an appointment for lash extensions almost two whole months in advance for my honeymoon. I messaged them on Facebook the day before my appointment to confirm and they assured me they had me all set for 5:15 the next day. I go in for my appointment and they tell me the person who does lashes is out of town and won't be back for a couple weeks. I showed them the message from the day before where it was CONFIRMED but they said there was nothing they could do. The salon was busy but my friend and I were seated for our pedicures right away. My pedicure looks good for the most part, just one spot where the nail polish collected a little. We also got manicures that didn't turn out terrible but not great either. It started to get busy again towards the end and I think my tech was hurrying. As she was putting on my top coat it was clearly pulling up the color so there are spots that are thin. She also didn't even my nails out very well so I had to file them when I got home. read more

made an appointment because i had somewhere to be and my appointment was at 11. I was treated as last priority and helped walks in more then me. Do not tell me you can take an appointment at 11 and then not do my nails. i was left multiple times for them to work on other people that is not how i would be expected to be treated when they tell me i can make an appointment. My first time there! I went first thing in the morning and was able to schedule my appointment online. The tech who did my nails was polite and super fast! I had a dip done on my natural nails. There are a couple minor imperfections but that's normal. They let me use a 15% off coupon I found on their website and every time you "check in" there it adds up to getting you $$$ off! 5 check ins and you get $10 off a service! I will be going back!
